Your Day as a Merchandising Associate at Lowe's

Responsibilities

- Create eye-catching product displays at our retail locations.

- Follow detailed merchandising project plans.

- Complete merchandising resets.

- Rotate and price store merchandise.

- Work with vendors, and support and review their work.

Who We're Looking for:

Minimum qualifications include:

- You can read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).

- You have experience with web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.

- You can work overnight, and weekends as required.

Preferred qualifications include:

- You are a high school or GED graduate.

- You're customer-focused and goal-oriented.

- You have 3 months experience operating a forklift or similar equipment.

- You have working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws).

- You have 6 months experience on a retail sales floor or general merchandising setting.

Overview

A Child Care Worker, is responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for young children to preteens. Their duties include coming up with creative and educational activities, preparing and serving snacks to children and maintaining a clean environment for the children.

Your Impact

  • Provide engineering services and task management and perform professional civil engineering design on roadway and site projects for multiple clients including VDOT, local municipalities, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC, etc.

  • Lead for analysis, plans production and other technical activities for assigned projects. Develop design criteria and applying to projects. Guide design teams to achieve overall project objectives.

  • Preparing plans, specifications, and bid packages and ensuring that production of specifications, reports and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements. Prepare technical reports and presentations that explain research, findings, and recommendations to improve or address design and/or construction issues or opportunities.

  • Developing 3D models using industry standard engineering software which includes, but is not limited to, Geopak, Civil3d, OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation.

  • Calculating costs and quantities of material/equipment/labor, and ensuring project work conforms with specifications, permit applications, compliance documentation, and regulatory and technical analysis memos.

  • Assist in the analysis, evaluation, and interpretation of data obtained during field investigations, offering input with developing action plans for moderate- to high-level risk mitigation activities.

  • Comply with regulatory requirements pertaining to the data integrity, documentation, procedures, training, monitoring systems, and record compliance and retention.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant post education experience in engineering discipline and prior design experience.

  • Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues.

  • Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management; including rehabilitation and new design.

  • Ability to coordinate with agency regulators and understand requirements.

  • Working knowledge of relevant civil construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.

In this role, a typical day will include:

STREAM instructors will support the Engineering Technician and assist with equipment maintenance as require

Assist with the completion of training programs and projects

Develops solutions for training programs of limited scope.

Assists in the design of instructional methods and materials.

Assist with training and design solutions to assist with program management curricula/programs.

Assist with on-site and/or in-house training classes, seminars, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises and discussion groups for customers and/or employees.

Assists with the development of measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant training and technology as assigned.

Maintain a current High-risk Instructor qualifications and physical requirements as outlined in OPNAVINST 1500.75 (series) enclosures (2) through (4), MSCINST 6000.1 (series).

Maintain current Basic First, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillator (AED) certification from a nationally recognized organization.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Associate's Degree plus three years of UNREP equipment operations,

  • or ten years of documented experience in UNREP equipment operations plus three years of Material Handling Equipment and Ordnance Handling Equipment operations,

  • or ten years of documented experience in UNREP, MHE, and OHE equipment operations.

  • Must possess Navy Instructor certification or completed a USCG Train the trainer course.

  • Must have experience training in a military and civilian mariner environment.

  • Secret Clearance is required

Requires knowledge of GRC concepts, Compliance frameworks such as NIST and SOC, and formal Risk program management as applied in the IT Audit industry. Risk reporting and relevant framework data will be regularly compiled and reviewed for reporting, remediation, exception management, and strategy with leadership. What you'll do here: + Grow Cengage's GRC Framework by integrating regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. NIST, Privacy by Design, PCI Compliance). Plan for Success

  • Plan, organize, and prioritize sales activities to achieve sales targets.
