Responsible for managing subject matter content in the proposal library and related data sources to be used for completing Request for Proposals to accurately present the organization's capabilities to potential clients.
Lead collaborative conference calls to drive deviation rates down
Reporting and maintenance of deviation rates and metrics
Ability to lead special department projects and work independently
Serves as direct support and back up for all intake functions including but not limited to coordinating any missing information on initial submissions, developing and maintaining department reporting and metrics, supporting sales intake training, assisting with due dates and coordinating extensions to load balance where necessary, providing insight on assignments for work load balance for lead when OOO
Trains medical sales/pharmacy on formal submission process.
Assists in creating unique files and folders and worksites for each pharmacy opportunity that is assigned
Responsible for development and maintenance of all department reporting including but not limited to volume and complexity
Responsible for requesting and maintaining files for FOIA requests when required
Assists to navigate and negotiate proposal due dates with matrix partners
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field or business area and a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications: Organizational skills required. Ability to work in fast paced environment. Ability to work independently, build relationships, work under tight deadlines. Prior healthcare industry experience strongly preferred. Strong technical and custom writing skills, as well as grammatical and editing skills strongly preferred.

General Purpose of Job
This position will support onboarding of strategic reinsurance transactions that are part of Lincoln's long-term strategy and growth plans. These transactions optimize and improve Lincoln's capital structure and improve capital returns. This position will also support ongoing accounting and administrative efforts of existing strategic reinsurance transactions. S/he will prepare, record, analyze & report accounting transactions & ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy & compliance with accepted accounting policies & principles.
Duties and Responsibilities
Able to assist in the design and implementation of new reinsurance administrative processes, including working with large volumes of data coming from various source systems/ledger.
Displays strong leadership skills to direct and drive large project milestones.
Researches and provides accounting impacts on new & existing reinsurance structures/transaction including assisting with preparation of proforma financial statements.
Determines classifications & records financial transactions applying accounting technique, standard practices & accepted accounting policies & principles
Performs complex reinsurance accounting activities including preparing, classifying, recording, maintaining & reconciling the General Ledger accounts, sub-ledgers & subsystems in compliance with the accepted accounting policies & principles.
Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on strategic reinsurance transactions and other assigned projects.
Identifies best practice and/or recommends process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility including assisting in automation initiatives.
Reviews reinsurance & financial reports & accounting statements to ensure their accuracy
Identifies accounting issues/concerns & recommends mitigation solution(s) to mgmt.
Ensures the integrity accounting records for completeness, accuracy & compliance with accepted accounting policies & principles & compliance with internal controls and SOX.
Identifies and resolves issues with internal &/or external auditors in a collaborative manner.
Identifies, researches & resolves discrepancies or out of balance situations amongst assigned General Ledger Accounts, subaccounts & subsystems.
Conducts quality assurance checks on his/her journal entries & post to General Ledger Accounts.
Prepares financial foot note information for SEC, GAAP & statutory reporting
Completes accurate & timely reinsurance treaty administration which includes cash settlements & analyzing & validating data.
Communicates with third party reinsurers on identified discrepancies & resolves in a collaborative & timely fashion.

This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. Required Qualifications:
