PenFed is hiring a Repossession & Remarketing Specialist I to work onsite at our Eugene, Oregon service center. The primary purpose of this position is to participate in the remarketing of repossessed consumer loan collateral and to perform the associated tasks through the liquidation of the collateral. Members will be contacted in an effort to redeem or reinstate loans with repossessed collateral. All interactions and activity will be maintained in the system of record while following all related policies, procedures and regulations.
Responsibilities

Reviews repossessed inventory to determine course of action to be taken and initiates appropriate follow-up activity, maintaining on-line chronological records of all facts, information developed, actions taken, and results.
Work an established assignment of Repo cases and tasks leading up through the liquidation of collateral to include clear dates, SCRA checks, floor prices, posting proceeds, deficiency balance letters, refund of additional products (GAP, CPI, Extended Warranty, etc.) filing of claims (skip, deficiency balance, CPI, etc.).
Determine reason for delinquency, while providing options and/or repayment arrangements to assist the member in resolving the repossession.
Counsel and solve routine as well as occasional advanced scenarios such as settlements and the corresponding agreements and IRS reporting.
Maintain records of all daily activities and reports to the Team Lead.
Qualifications
An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of two (2) years' collections/repossession experience required, preferably at a financial institution.
Understanding of preventative, productive and remedial financial counseling is required.
Minimum of one (1) years' experience with call center collections preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, decision-making and written skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Available to work weekends, evenings and overtime periodically.
Licenses and Certifications
Any collections or repossession related certificates recommended.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.
Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.
Travel
Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call is not required.

Knowledge of TCPA and various state regulations and it's impacts to the Dialer operations, Lead management, and callable hours.
Manages internal and external service provider outages, support system recovery, and business continuity planning.
Assist in strategy and planning sessions as required, developing project scope with stakeholders for approved projects.
Participate in corporate projects as requested, to include networking events.

Provide quarterly Board updates on Enterprise, Market and Model Risk management
Develop budgets for risk-related requirements and projects and supervise their funding
Conduct risk assurance and due diligence on behalf of the organization in the events of new or expanded activities, including but limited to mergers and acquisitions
Develop, assign and regularly update training related to ERM purpose, functions and authorities and purpose, functions and authorities of other business areas involved in understanding and mitigating risk; identify SME presentations to augment as appropriate.
Coordinate and provide information requested from business units related to risk and / or specific organizational projects
Analyze emerging risks and trends that may impact PenFed and present treatment strategies.
In conjunction with Chief Compliance Officer, provide guidance and report on all key regulatory changes that impact PenFed's risk landscape.
Evaluate new methodologies, standards, and best practices to effectively manage risks in both upside and downside scenarios, adding value relative to the achievement of strategic business objectives.
Present recommendations for improving existing Risk Office capabilities and practices to the Executive Team and Financial Risk Management Committee, as appropriate.
Helps safeguard PenFed's computer and IT systems by monitoring staff adherence of all security policies and related training for individuals managed by this role. Takes appropriate action working with IT security and HR when necessary to address any security breaches.
Qualifications
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field with sufficient experience is required.
Twenty (20) years of management experience, with five (5) years serving in a VP or SVP role in the financial industry with direct management experience
Minimum of 5 years leading a risk function in a regulated financial institution +$15B in assets
Familiarity with and implementation of common financial risk frameworks; experience working in a 3LOD risk environment
Multi-year experience with model risk management at first or second line level
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for Credit Union risk management
Experience with Archer preferred; experience with other risk and control tracking and management software welcome
Direct management of cross-functional, sourced, or matrixed teams.
Experience working with Financial Industry regulators
Experience working with Board/s

The primary purpose of this job is to manage the company's external and agent-facing communication initiatives, including all product/service launches, change communication, and ongoing marketing and promotional campaigns to drive the adoption of products, services, and behaviors in support of the company's goals.

Editorial
Functions as the company's head writer and editor, which includes management of the production, execution, and delivery of content for agent-facing and externally facing communications channels, including company newsletters, press releases/media announcements, corporate websites, and social media platforms.
Write storyboards and scripts for multimedia projects.
Serves as chief copywriter for the RECS creative services program, which includes ideation and copywriting for the branding assets (e.g., flyers, websites, etc.) of the program's real estate professional clientele.
Writes and creates agent-facing presentations that are powerfully written and visually appealing in support of coaching and training programs.
Campaign Development and Management
Works closely with relevant departments and stakeholders to develop and implement results-oriented marketing, promotion, and communications campaigns in support of product/service rollouts and launches.
Works closely with relevant departments and stakeholders to develop strategic marketing campaigns in support of large and long-term company initiatives, e.g., growth of property management and commercial division lines of businesses.
Develops and implements marketing communications campaigns to promote ongoing awareness and adoption of products, services, and initiatives as set by the company's priorities, e.g., RECS Transaction Coordination.
Develops and implements communications plans in support of change management initiatives.
Analyzes and reports on the results of campaigns in a clear, concise, and visually arresting manner, which also includes delivering insight and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
5+ years of marketing communication experience.
Powerful and compelling writing skills required; previous experience with advertising/PR/ marketing services firms.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work independently and administer the project's tasks, resources, and stakeholder expectations from start to finish. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
Experience in using project management software, e.g., Asana, Trelio, etc.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for interacting with all levels of staff and real estate professionals and the ability to forge trusting relationships within a diverse team.
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or related degree.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign highly preferred; experience in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Expertise in Google Workspace or MS Office Suite; experience in creating dynamic presentations.
Knowledge of and interest in real estate a plus.
