Serco has a Cybersecurity Engineer opening in Huntsville, AL. This Cybersecurity Engineer will be supporting our DoD customer as an integral part of the Serco team! The mission of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is to develop and deploy a layered Missile Defense System to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends from missile attacks in all phases of flight.
Our team provides solutions for statutory and DoD requirements for Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) for the MDA. They provide IV&V for MDA's weapon systems, business systems, RDT&E environments and Defense Industrial Base partners. We work closely with the Agency's Security Control Assessors and the Authorizing Official. The team is 42 people with staff in Huntsville and Colorado Springs, CO. JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform risk assessments on packages submitted from the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
Perform risk assessment activities for evaluating System Security Plans (SSP), Interim Authorization To Test (IATTs), Authorization to Operate (ATO), and Authorization to Connect (ATC)
Execute and document risk assessments, including interacting directly with the SCAs and the ISSMs and their Cybersecurity support staff and supporting ATO signing sessions
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
Active DoD Secret security clearance
High School Diploma
8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years of technical cybersecurity experience
Understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the NIST 800-53 RMF Security Control Catalog
Security + with CE or other qualified IAT Level II cybersecurity certification
Excellent writing and oral communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

As a Personnel Employment Assistant, you will:
Provide direct support to program administrators by providing administrative services to type, edit, and distribute a wide variety of correspondence under established guidelines and procedures
Prepare personal awards based on an awards template as well as engraving names and command logo on plaques in accordance with standard operating procedures
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and visitors
Schedule and plan meetings/appointments as required, including conference calls
Liaise with staff members, applicants and the general public on a daily basis
Develop and maintain filing systems for applicant files, general correspondence, forms, reports, minutes, and other materials per direction and procedures
Assist with distribution, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and preparation of routine correspondence and outgoing materials as needed
Coordinate, compile, and maintain data for submission in monthly/quarterly/annual reports
Assist with screening, reviewing and verifying the accuracy of applicant enlistment paperwork and update applicant enlistment documents using secure automated personnel data systems as needed
Organize, collect, analyze, and present statistical information related to the tracking of applicants, goal attainment, and marketing analysis for both officer and enlisted programs
Prepare reports for Program Managers and higher level personnel, describing problems that are recurring or causing significant delays or costs, the corrective actions taken, and the need for additional time or resources needed to meet recruiting objectives
Obtain workload data and track progress in meeting objectives and use of resources via web-based Navy applications and other commercially available web-based programs
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
A High School Diploma or GED
Three (3) years of experience in office management or clerical support
High proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office 2010 suite of software applications to include; Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft SharePoint Workspace
Desired experience and skills:
The hourly pay rate for this position is $17.63, plus an additional $4.23/hr for Health and Welfare (H&W).

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:

2-5 years of related experience
Knowledge of subcontracting fundamentals and possess general understanding of federal, state, and aerospace industry regulations.
A strong understanding of the RFP / bid process. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities.
Intermediate computer skills and be able to understand electronic processing.
Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
Strong presentation skills and the ability communicate with a wide range of internal or external parties.
Can work independently or in a team environment.

Country paper content includes S&T priority areas and/or specialized capabilities within a specified country; governmental and defense organizational structures within a specified country; delineating the relationship between that country's Defense S&T community and the U.S.; the international armaments cooperative relationship between the specified country and the U.S.; and maintain a record of contact between OUSD(R&E) senior leadership and the specified country.
Act as action officers in assigned geographic area of responsibility. Support includes liaising with the appropriate counterparts in the Services, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) for Policy (OUSD(P)), Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)); coordinating with country-specific action officers to ensure actions are completed between major engagement meetings; and coordinating with the appropriate technical personnel within OUSD(R&E) to complete outstanding actions between major engagement meetings.
Maintain situational awareness of S&T cooperative activities in assigned geographic area of responsibility and liaising with technical subject matter experts within OUSD(R&E) as well as counterparts in the Services, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) for Policy (OUSD(P)), Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)), and Intelligence (OUSD(I)).
Liaise with the International Cooperation Office (ICO) within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)) to develop Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Project Arrangement/Project Agreement (PA), Equipment and Material Transfer Arrangements (E&MTA), Working Group Terms of Reference (TOR), and/or Designated Disclosure Authority Letters (DDL), and OUSD(R&E) assessment of proposed international armaments engagement agreements.
Provide support in clearing OUSD(R&E) presentations with the OUSD(A&S) Foreign Disclosure Office (FDO), assisting OUSD(R&E) or Service representatives in exchanging information under OUSD(R&E) led forums, and/or responding to questions from OUSD(R&E) personnel or Service representatives in any international cooperation question, as needed.
Conduct data extraction from the DoD International Agreements Database on either a specific country or technical topic.
Establish and maintain IO&P external outreach tools to include the OUSD(R&E) international website, briefing cards, and overview presentations.
Work with OUSD(R&E) travel planners to set-up international travel and coordinate appropriate country/security clearances for major OUSD(R&E) international engagements, as needed/applicable.
Serve as the point of contact for Washington-based Defense Multifocal meetings. As the point of contact, synchronize activities between OUSD(R&E) initiatives and representatives from all the participating organizations/nations; and coordinate intelligence threat briefings at appropriate international events with the Chief Technical and Science Intelligence (CSTI) representatives, and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSD(I)).
Specific to TTCP support, act as the U.S. Executive Officer as well as provide direct support to the U.S. Principal, the U.S. Deputy, the U.S. National Representatives, and the applicable Group Executive Chair(s). Support includes providing advice and recommendations for the management and execution of TTCP; developing proposals and implement plans to improve management procedures and process efficiencies within TTCP; conduct analysis of TTCP strategic initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement; planning, preparation, and execution of U.S. participation in TTCP meetings, and events (e.g., the Principals annual meeting and teleconferences, Washington Staff meetings, EC College teleconferences, Group-level meetings, etc.); drafting the EC College Newsletter; and planning the TTCP U.S. Award Ceremony.
Specific to NATO STO support, provide support to the U.S. Science and Technology Board (STB) members, the U.S. Voting Panel members, and the U.S. National Coordinator. Support includes coordinating quarterly update meetings, prepare senior U.S. leadership before STB meetings, assess, and evaluate documents and/presentations (e.g., technical reports, etc.) before submitting to the U.S. NATO National Coordinator for approval, and coordinate with the appropriate organizations for U.S. appointments to NATO STO technical panels.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting a government office or official. The government is willing to consider a candidate that has less years of experience with a higher degree level.
A baseline line understanding of the different authorities available for international cooperation to identify the appropriate mechanism to support R&E efforts.
Experience planning and executing meetings or events.
Experience acting as liaison at a high-level for multiple offices is required.
Experience working with international travel agents to coordinate country/security clearances.
Experience coordinating logistics (e.g., requesting access to military installations, coordinating clearances and foreign visit requests, parking for visiting personnel, etc.) for meeting delegate(s); preparing agendas; drafting read ahead information (e.g., background briefings, issue papers, decisions papers, etc.); and draft comprehensive meeting minutes or reports, is HIGHLY PREFERRED.

In this role, you will:

Qualifications

Teaching and/or instructing Military Veterans and Veteran spouses employment skills to transition to civilian professional and vocational occupations.
Guide the Military Veterans and Veteran spouses in identifying goals while also assisting them with recognizing any employment or education gaps.
Organize and able to manage an office.
Providing Veterans (including Reserve and National Guard) and Veteran spouses a comprehensive understanding of preparing for civilian employment, job searching, job application processes, networking, technical training opportunities, credentialing, and assistance in preparing for civilian employment and participation in technical programs and schools; and, who can conduct large group instruction and provide counseling on the job search process.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:

In this role, you will:

To be successful in this role, you will have:
A High School Diploma and 4 years of experience working as a Workforce Solutions, Workforce Development, Career Counselor, Human Resources (HR) Specialist and/or experience in employment counseling, vocational counseling, guidance, placement counseling, rehabilitation counseling or educational counseling.
Or an Associate's degree.
Knowledge of the civilian workplace, translating military skills/language, assessing job market, and researching/interpreting job requirements.
Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of Applications and virtual meeting platforms.

The ability to travel up to 10%.

Simulations and software development are to integrate/interface with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software applications such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, CAMEO and others.
The candidate shall possess knowledge of building out environments in Unreal Engine, in a scalable way. Mixed-reality and simulation-based applications will give users, including multi-user interactions, the ability to practice training, design review, and dangerous tasks, in a safe and risk-free virtual environment. we are looking for a highly motivated individual delivering solutions to customers by working collaboratively with program managers, designers, and the rest of the engineering team to implement best in class features and help define 3D development architecture. Ideally, the candidate will produce automated development tools to streamline workflows and enable configuration management of the environments.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Architect, develop, deploy, and maintain features for AR/VR/MR and desktop applications.
Produce still renderings, animations, interactive walk-throughs of engineering projects to communicate with engineers and clients.
Building 3D model preparation pipelines to convert CAD models to renderable and interactive objects.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
Collaborate with teams of developers, participating in regular code reviews.
Perform integration testing as well as collaborating with other internal teams.

Stay current on latest features and practices of Unreal Engine and other 3D development platforms.

Qualifications
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:
4-8 years of experience in software development and programming.
2-4 years of experience in Unreal Engine 4 and 5, or other 3D development platform with the ability to learn UE quickly.
Experience developing interactive and multi-player applications for virtual reality and/or mixed reality.
Strong level of expertise of all aspects of the Unreal Editor, Blueprint, and Engine.

Review and approve journal entries and key account reconciliations

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Additional desired experience and skills:
Three (3) years of drafting experience producing drawings files compatible withAutoCAD software. This shall include at least two (2) years' experience in developing, preparing, reviewing and editing drawings used to plan or document the installation of Department of Defense C4ISR systems.

Qualifications

Five plus years of experience, with ten or more years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, financial/cost analysis, Navy acquisition and/or In Service Programs.
Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.
Five plus years of experience working with Hyperbaric and Diving, Submarine Escape and Rescue, certifications, Quality Assurance and Undersea programs.
Knowledge of Program Management, including the acquisition and budgeting process, and Navy program execution.
Active-duty experience in the submarine service preferred.
Recent experience in Team Submarine.

As a member of the Air Traffic Control team, you can expect to:
Answer radio calls from arriving/departing aircraft
Issue landing/takeoff instructions

Issue air traffic clearances
Perform critical weather observations as a Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) observer, and to disseminate timely weather information to pilots, other air traffic control facilities and other users of the National Airspace System.
Transfer and receive control of aircraft
Operate equipment such as: radios, telephones, interphones, computer systems, radar, recording systems, weather equipment, light guns, airport/runway lighting systems, backup equipment, etc.
Alert Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighters and other first responders to aircraft experiencing emergency situations
Coordinate with and issue instructions to airport vehicles/personnel
Maintain and disseminate records of daily operations
Perform on-the-job training instructor duties as required
Qualifications
Requirements to join the team:
US Citizenship
An FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
Control Tower Operator (CTO) rating or a Credential with a Tower Rating and 6 months of practical experience in accordance with 14 CFR Part 65.39

Provide technical and managerial assistance on all aspects of project management from inception through completion, including engineering, procurement, installation, testing, monitoring, maintenance and service for ESS and related systems on Army bases worldwide.
Manage project(s) and related task orders for customer(s) with revenue ranging from $3 - $15M.
Conduct cost management through continual cost control and review.
Have business development and budgetary responsibilities.
Provide expertise to customers to ensure resolution of issues.
Typically manage a team of 20 or more employees.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
At least ten (10) years of relevant experience in the ESS technology field, including five (5) years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity and five (5) years in the functional area of Army ESS
An active DoD Secret level clearance
A current PMP certification
Ability to travel up to 10% CONUS/OCONUS
A valid US Passport
