Serco has a great opportunity for you to take a role as part of the USMC/Navy logistic team in supporting the USMC/Navy overseas in Guam, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Australia. Join an integrated government-industry team in support of multiple program functions.
This high-speed Logistics Analyst position is part of a dynamic team supporting USMC customers in overseas locations by addressing USMC/Navy cargo problems related to standard port procedures (violation of which results in discrepancies). Assists aerial port customer service representatives regarding DOD transiting shipments. Assist aerial port customer service representatives by facilitating Marine Corps/Navy process improvements to minimize the occurrence of Marine Corps/Navy sponsored frustrated cargo. Resolve/Process all frustrated cargo to ensure compliance with both aerial port and DOD requirements to include facilitating customs clearance, and preparation of Hazardous Documents.
In this role, you will:
Address USMC/Navy cargo problems related to standard port procedures (violation of which results in discrepancies).
Provide assistance to aerial port customer service representatives regarding DOD transiting shipments.
Assist aerial port customer service representatives by facilitating Marine Corps/Navy process improvements to minimize the occurrence of Marine Corps/Navy sponsored frustrated cargo.
Resolve/Process all frustrated cargo to ensure compliance with both aerial port and DODrequirements to include facilitating customs clearance, and preparation of Hazardous Documents.
Conduct analyses of cargo movement processes and emerging trends to provide guidance in the development of policy and process changes.
Monitor all cargo movements through all modes of transportation from origin to destination to determine the effectiveness of distribution system to meet time definite deliver standards, operational need goals, and customer wait time goals.
Review and analyze DTS process time-line data to identify deficiencies, develop process improvement courses of action (COA) and assist with the implementation of selected COA's.
May be required to analyze logistics data, provide metrics, and develop courses of action in order to create increased efficiencies within logistical processes and distribution operations.
Develop operational plans and concepts. Designs data collection requirements to support operational planning. Provides advice and recommendations to high level officials regarding operational plans and concepts.
Analyzes plans, data, intelligence information, or systems. Develops estimates and makes recommendations for deficiencies. Integrates information from a variety of sources into various systems; ensures proper systems interfaces. Collects data for analysis. Develops products resulting from analysis.
Performs one or more of the following or related activities: 1) Analyzes and reengineersmission processes by applying business process reengineering principles. 2) Proposes and assists in the implementation of change initiatives. 3) Supports participation in related studies. 4) Develops tools and information systems as required to support management processes.
Performs one or more of the following or related activities: 1) Performs analysis, develops plans, and facilitates implementation. 2) Analyzes and develops concepts for strategic deployment; operational and logistics issues; organizational structure and equipment and modernization of forces/ exercises and training; and computer, communication, command, and control, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance
Assists with requirements development and refinement, technical reviews of requirements packets, preparation of technical support for negotiation documents, and level of effort requirement's development.
Other duties may be required.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of related military or specialized experience; OR 15 years of directly related military specialized experience applicable to the job description listed above.
Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Ability to monitor project schedules and performance metrics; prepare briefings and information papers; and attend meetings and teleconferences.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have an active DoD Secret Level Clearance
Must be willing to relocate toGuam, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Australia.
Have the ability to travel 10% of the time
Must have APSR access.
Must be trained in the doctrinal concepts of landing support and the landing force support party, conducting port, arrival/departure airfield, helicopter landing zone, and rail head.
Must have functional knowledge of DTS transportation systems.
Must have knowledge in contingency planning, SOP development, Joint and Multinational Logistics.
Preferred Requirements:
Navy or USMC Logistics experience preferred.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Recruit, manage and track communication and interaction with potential MSEP partners to facilitate SECO awareness and support, development of HR relationships and dissemination of SECO and Military OneSource information
Connect with potential MSEP partners to identify the skills and qualities they are looking for in a potential military spouse employee
Attend outreach events in person as well as virtual events
Participate in planning sessions for outreach events
Share employer information and collaborates with data analysts, installation specialists, MSEP Potential Partner Specialists, Job Search Navigators, and Federal Employment Navigators to identify good-fit potential MSEP partners and POCs
Enter communication information into a tracking system; create after trip reports after attending outreach events
Perform QC Inspector tasks as assigned and performs QC activities in accordance with the Quality Management Plan.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:

You will be part of a large, geographically dispersed team that works closely with Serco program management team and other Serco teams to deliver quality services to our military/government customer and military spouses.

Coordinate virtual platform licensing.
Prepare and assist guest speakers.
Perform logistics activities for in-person and virtual events.
Provide event status updates and reports.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as project management, operations, communications, business, marketing.

To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a High School diploma or equivalent and willing to work more than 40 hours per week and travel to various worksites.
Have an OSHA 10 certification or able to obtain the certification
Must be able to have the ability to work in areas with drafts, noise, and temperature variation.
Must be able to work in high heat spaces, climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift up to 50 pounds with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position. Position Description
Serco is seeking a junior-level analyst to provide support to the Army Research Lab (ARL) Strategic Partnerships Office in Adelphi, MD. The Advanced Marine Welder will be on a dynamic team, supporting our C5ISR system installations. You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco team members to deliver high technology performed onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations.
In this role, you will:
Interpret specifications, drawings, blueprints, shop job orders and, process sheets.
Use a variety of ARC and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as foundations, cable collars, cable/pipe/vent hangers, cable tubes penetrations, studs, etc.
Perform related task such as thermal cutting (PLASMA or TORCH) and grinding.
Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Assign work to qualified personnel.
Train new shop personnel on machinery, tools and test equipment required for quality construction of products.
Work onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations in an area that is somewhat uncomfortable due to drafts, noise, temperature variation and the like and with equipment where carelessness would probably result in minor cuts, bruises, muscle strains, serious injury, or death.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will:
A High School Diploma or equivalent with AIT experience.
Be familiar with NAVSEA, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of electrical repair, fabrication, and installation.
Get respirator qualified and wear proper PPE throughout their work shift.
Be certified in the following process: GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, and TIG.
Have own tools of the trade and able to pass precertification company weld test.
Must complete successful qualification in the following Serco Welding Procedures within 30 calendar days of starting date: Serco-001 (GMAW, Aluminum - 4 position), Serco-002 (SMAW, HY100-4 position), Serco-003 (GMAW, Aluminum - 4 position), Serco-007 (SMAW, C/S to S/S - 4 position), and Serco-012 (SMAW, S/S to S/S - 4 position).
Candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% to various work sites.
Must be able to work in high heat spaces, climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift 50 pounds with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position.
Attention to safety critical.

In this role, you will:
Develop Preliminary Engineering Change Proposals (PECPs), Waterfront Change Packages, Work Items, and Administrative Change Packages. Integrate system changes to cable block diagrams and cable running sheets.
Develop response rationale for Government Furnished Information Deficiencies GFIDs, Condition Reports, Trial Cards, Variances, and Contract Letters. Use AutoCAD to develop design.
Support meetings including Weekly C4ISR meetings with the customer and other adhoc meetings. Facilitate Monthly C4ISR meeting with SPAWAR/NIWC.
Provide coordination/liaison with other Government agencies and commercial companies to address and resolve technical issues.
Conduct review of future change packages and determined package preparation dates in a joint review between PMS377 and PMW 750.
Conduct travel to outside activities and participate in shipboard trial events upon Government approval.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific discipline is desired. A combination of 15 years of relevant work experience (education/internship/navy experience counts).
Must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance post-employment.
Experience with integrating system changes to cable block diagrams and cable running sheets is required.
AutoCAD proficiency, an in-depth knowledge of U.S Navy Amphibious Ship C4ISR systems and interfaces, and familiarity with PEO C4I and SPAWAR/NIWC organizations is highly desirable.

Position Description
Serco is looking for an Advanced Marine Welder team member to join a high-profile and challenging project supporting the US Navy. The Advanced Marine Welder will be on a dynamic team, supporting our C5ISR system installations. You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco team members to deliver high technology performed onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations.
In this role, you will:
Interpret specifications, drawings, blueprints, shop job orders and, process sheets.
Use a variety of ARC and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as foundations, cable collars, cable/pipe/vent hangers, cable tubes penetrations, studs, etc.
Perform related task such as thermal cutting (PLASMA or TORCH) and grinding.
Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Assign work to qualified personnel.
Train new shop personnel on machinery, tools and test equipment required for quality construction of products.
Work onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations in an area that is somewhat uncomfortable due to drafts, noise, temperature variation and the like and with equipment where carelessness would probably result in minor cuts, bruises, muscle strains, serious injury, or death.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will:
A High School Diploma or equivalent with AIT experience.
Be familiar with NAVSEA, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of electrical repair, fabrication, and installation.
Get respirator qualified and wear proper PPE throughout their work shift.
Be certified in the following process: GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, and TIG.
Have own tools of the trade and able to pass precertification company weld test.
Must complete successful qualification in the following Serco Welding Procedures within 30 calendar days of starting date: Serco-001 (GMAW, Aluminum - 4 position), Serco-002 (SMAW, HY100-4 position), Serco-003 (GMAW, Aluminum - 4 position), Serco-007 (SMAW, C/S to S/S - 4 position), and Serco-012 (SMAW, S/S to S/S - 4 position).
Candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% to various work sites.
Must be able to work in high heat spaces, climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift 50 pounds with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position.
Attention to safety critical.

The Subcontracts Administrator leads and conducts subcontract negotiation, competitions and administration of major subcontracts; reviews proposal submissions and acts as senior level authority to identify and assist proposal team in reviewing proposal submissions.
In this role, you will:
Works effectively in a project team environment to ensure that programmatic timelines for pricing/ proposal support and subcontract awards are met.
Develops competitive and single/sole source Request For Proposals (RFPs) for federal products and services of high complexity and price. Understands how to tailor prime contract requirements; understand various contract type options and their proper use to ensure selected contract will result in the lowest risk and best performance for Serco and its clients.
Leads program team in subcontractor negotiations concerning price, terms, and delivery schedule.
Awards subcontracts of high complexity and price and documents all actions taken to department compliance standards.
Provides effective subcontractor management ensuring compliance with negotiated price, terms and delivery schedule. Communicates/ escalates performance issues promptly.
Closes out subcontracts, including cost-reimbursable subcontracts, timely.
Provides guidance to more junior subcontracts staff.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
6 years of subcontracts experience.
Bachelors degree or 4 years of related experience.
Ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous and rapidly changing priorities, and work to agreed-upon schedules.
Skilled communicator - verbal and written - dealing with subcontractors and all levels of Serco staff.
Comprehensive understanding of federal contracting requirements (FAR/ DFAR) .
Proven problem-solving skills.

Systems/equipment and services are defined as equipment and/or systems that facilitate the detection, delay, deterrence, assessment, and response to terrorist events. Sustainment services include preventive and corrective maintenance, interoperability, maintenance planning, supply/logistics support, testing and evaluation, reliability and maintainability, and configuration management.
In support of the program's mission, Serco is looking for a Field Service Engineer (FSE). This position is 75% travel, but does not require you to live onsite any of the work locations. A valid U.S. Passport is required.
In this role, you will:
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, products and systems including but not limited to Physical Security/Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Vehicle Gates and Barriers, Turnstiles, Giant Voice (MASS Notification), CCTV Surveillance and Recording systems as controlled by Emergency Operations Centers, Regional and Local Dispatch Centers, and Navy Munitions Commands
Identify faults, analyze mechanical and electrical failures, fault isolate network issues and order and replace defective parts and modules as required
Recommend equipment product or services best suited to fit the customers' needs
Relies on experience and judgement, takes direction from and assists other Team Members and Technical Project Leadership, and exhibits a wide degree of creativity and latitude to plan and accomplish assigned tasks.
Communicates effectively with Customers, other Serco Team Members, and Sub Contractors to offer solutions
Creates and composes detailed work logs and performs daily trip reports of equipment and system statuses
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Requires a bachelor's degree and 4 years' experience OR a HS Diploma with 6 years' experience in the related field.
An active DoD Secret level clearance. This position requires the ability to access confidential/classified areas.
Hold a valid US passport
Qualified candidate will have an excellent mechanical aptitude, be experienced with performing functional and operational testing, performing general maintenance and have the ability to troubleshoot Access Control systems, CCTV systems and learn operation and function of various Gates and Barriers at US military installations or similar vehicle gates and barriers at other secure facilities.
Preferred experience in one or more of the following manufacturers equipment:
Access Control Systems: Lenel, DMP, Brivo, Access IT, HID

Perform work with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field under general supervision.
Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and you will typically report to a supervisor.
Work onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations in an area that is somewhat uncomfortable due to drafts, noise, temperature variation and the like and with equipment where carelessness would probably result in minor cuts, bruises, muscle strains, serious injury, or death
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a High School Diploma and Shipboard experience.
Have an OSHA 10 certification or able to obtain the certification.
Be able to use power tools, assembling both large scale and intricate mechanical assemblies.
Demonstrate the ability to working with blueprints, assembly drawings and sketches in completing a wide variety of assembly and subassembly tasks.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within this field.
Experience in the fabrication and precision assembly of various mechanical assemblies.
Applicant must be able to get respirator qualified and wear proper PPE throughout their work shift.
Applicant must be willing to work second, or thirds shift as needed and willing to work more than 40 hours work weeks.
Candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% to various work sites.
Must be able to work in high heat spaces, climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift 50 pounds with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position.

The schedule for this opportunity will be 1st shift, 6:30AM-3PM Monday through Friday. Overtime eligible with the potential of earning a sign-on bonus dependent on experience and availability.
In this role, you will:
Operate automotive and diesel vehicles and construction and material handling equipment.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair bucket truck and digger derrick hydraulic systems
Perform engine, electrical and drivability diagnostics/repair.
Perform PA state inspections and manufacturer recommended services.
Diagnose and repair aftertreatment systems.
Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.
Be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing work derived from driver reports and planned maintenance.
Qualifications
To be successful on the job, you will have:
At least 5 years of related experience.
High school diploma or its equivalent.
Valid driver's license with good driving record.
Customer focused, strong work ethic and positive.
Be a safety oriented individual.
CDL B license and PA Class VII inspection license is required but can be obtained after employment begins and training and reimbursement for both will be provided.
Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools.
Diesel vocational/technical school certifications desired.
This position is contingent upon your ability to pass a preemployment criminal history check and drug screen.
