Position Description
Serco is looking for Advanced Mechanical Assemble to join a high-profile and challenging project supporting the US Navy. Advanced Mechanical Assemblers will be on a dynamic team, supporting our C5ISR system installations. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our Sailors.
You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco team members to deliver high technology performed onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations.
In this role, you will:
Receive technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician, and your work will be reviewed for compliance with accepted practices.
Supervise a small team of 3-5 lower-level employees while reporting to a manager.
Follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to fabricate and assemble various electromechanical and electronic assemblies.
Perform work with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field under general supervision.
Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and you will typically report to a supervisor.
Work onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations in an area that is somewhat uncomfortable due to drafts, noise, temperature variation and the like and with equipment where carelessness would probably result in minor cuts, bruises, muscle strains, serious injury, or death
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a High School Diploma and Shipboard experience.
Have an OSHA 10 certification or able to obtain the certification.
Be able to use power tools, assembling both large scale and intricate mechanical assemblies.
Demonstrate the ability to working with blueprints, assembly drawings and sketches in completing a wide variety of assembly and subassembly tasks.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within this field.
Experience in the fabrication and precision assembly of various mechanical assemblies.
Applicant must be able to get respirator qualified and wear proper PPE throughout their work shift.
Applicant must be willing to work second, or thirds shift as needed and willing to work more than 40 hours work weeks.
Candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% to various work sites.
Must be able to work in high heat spaces, climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift 50 pounds with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position.
Attention to safety critical.

The Senior Acquisition Program Manager will provide multi-disciplinary support to government system acquisition program management offices and will serve as an adviser to government personnel. Duties will include planning, executing, and controlling acquisition programs; organizing, training, and supervising a support staff. Will work with senior government personnel on a regular basis, and will frequently be called on to provide briefings and lead large meetings.
The ideal candidate for this position possess U.S. Air Force acquisition experience with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance. Experience working with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) is considered highly relevant. Serco is seeking someone who is versatile, with a broad background and demonstrated ability to produce quality work. Must be comfortable in a challenging, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment with a flexible work schedule supporting multiple customers. Applicants must also have excellent listening as well as oral and written communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with customers and colleagues.
This individual is responsible for providing acquisition management support services to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of acquisition services in support of the customer's mission. Services include some or all of the following:

Bid and proposal review/analysis
Other related services associated with the acquisition process
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
A DoD Top Secret with SCI (TS/SCI) clearance
Bachelor's Degree
5-10 years of program management of acquisition programs
5 years in a leadership position
Extensive knowledge of Air Force and Space program management policies and procedures and application to development, production and fielding of major weapon systems
Extensive experience with Defense Acquisition management processes as contained in the DoD 5000 series directives required
Ability to work effectively both independently and a part of a collaborative team

Serco Inc. is a federal government contractor that provides air traffic control services at Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Contract Towers (FCTs), Non-Federal Contract Towers (NFCT), Remote Air Traffic Control Towers and Ramp Control Services in 11 western states.
Air Traffic Control Specialists (ATCS) control air traffic on and within the vicinity of the airport according to established procedures and policies to prevent collisions and minimize delays arising from traffic congestion. They are responsible for the safe, orderly and expeditious movement of air traffic through the nation's airspace. ATCS duties include:
Answering radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft.
Issuing landing/takeoff instructions.
Issuing information such as runway to use, wind velocity and direction, visibility, taxiing instructions, and pertinent data on other aircraft operating in vicinity.
Issuing air traffic clearances.
Providing advice based on their own observations and information from the National Weather - Service, IFR control facilities, flight service stations, pilots, and other sources.
Taking and disseminating weather observations at Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) or Supplemental Aviation Weather Reporting Station (SAWRS) facilities.
Transferring control to receiving facilities when aircraft leave their airspace and receiving control of aircraft coming into their airspace.
Operating various types of equipment such as: radios, telephones, interphones, computer systems, radar, recording systems, weather equipment, light guns, airport/runway lighting systems, and backup equipment.
Alerting airport emergency crews and other designated personnel when aircraft are having flight difficulties.
Coordinating with and issuing instructions to airport vehicles and personnel.
Maintaining and disseminating records of daily operations

This position is contingent upon your ability to pass a preemployment criminal history check and drug screen.
Serco supports the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) by operating the free MAP patrol and incident management service program providing safe, quick clearance of incidents that affect traffic, including vehicle accidents and disabled vehicles. The primary purpose of the MAP program is to ensure state highways are free of obstructions and safe for the traveling public.
You will be part of a team that works closely with LADOTD, local law enforcement and other first responders daily.
In this role you will:
Monitor state highways for vehicle crashes, disabled/abandoned vehicles, debris, and lane-closing events, traffic signal malfunctions, damage to state equipment on state roadways, and general incident/congestion scenarios.
Provide roadside assistance to stranded motorists (including changing tires, giving battery jumps, providing fuel, removing debris from the travel lanes, etc.).
Work closely with police and other first responders at highway incidents.
Provide incident response, on-scene traffic control and limited first aid .
Provide Traffic Incident Management (TIM) services.
Use a two-way radio and/or smart phone to communicate and coordinate with the Traffic Management Center (TMC) staff and local Police agencies.
Observe required safety procedures to avoid injury and accidents, at all times.
Complete a combination of classroom and field training to be certified as a motorist assistance operator.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
High school diploma or its equivalent
0-2 years' experience in incident management or related field
Must possess a valid Louisiana driver's license
Availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
Able to work in an outdoor environment, lift/carry 50lbs, and walk unassisted for 300 yards
Able to speak English language (Bilingual is plus)
Minimum age requirement of 21
Must be able to pass classroom and field training to be certified as a motorist assistance operator

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
An active TS/SCI security clearance
Master's Degree

Program Management experience in full spectrum Operations and Weapon System project lifecycle management
Program Management experience in Information Technology project lifecycle management
Working knowledge of DoD Acquisition, IT and Cyber policies, instructions, directives, and technical guidance
Familiarity with Charter of the Joint Requirements Council, implementation of the Joint capabilities, and development System duties and responsibilities
Demonstrated knowledge of the Tactics Development process

In this role, you will:
Provide analytical support and quantitative analysis of modelled data
Act as a subject matter expert for selected Navy manpower models; assist users in understanding the capabilities of the models; and update model data, methodology, and parameters as required to support program/policy changes or other potential changes
Coordinate with system administrators to test models and underlying data for anyissues resulting from software maintenance and system-wide updates affecting the underlying model code-base
Update and maintain selected Navy manpower models and analysis tools including populating data fields with updated information and ensuring the user interface is functional and compatible with the latest system-wide upgrades to associated and supporting systems
Update and maintain manpower model technical documentation

The Contracts Administrator position reports to the Senior Manager of Contracts.You will be a part of a robust contracts management team to include 20 contracts administrators. This team supports about 500 contract vehicles. In this position you will be the administrator of about 20-30 contracts.
In this role, you will:
Must have experience with state contracting regulations in general and quickly perform sophisticated risk analysis for new and ongoing opportunities.
Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement.
Performs risk analyses on RFP's and provides guidance to the proposal team.
Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the company and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
Acts as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.
Acts as liaison between the Operations team and the Customer Contracting Officer.
Manage GSA Schedules to complete and maintain records and monitor contractual compliance and performance.
Qualifications

6 years of applicable industry experience
Demonstrated knowledge in using Microsoft Office (Word)

The ideal candidate for this position will possess U.S. Navy acquisition experience with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance. Must be comfortable in a challenging, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment with a flexible work schedule supporting multiple customers.
