Serco is looking for Advanced Mechanical Assemble to join a high-profile and challenging project supporting the US Navy. Advanced Mechanical Assemblers will be on a dynamic team, supporting our C5ISR system installations. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our Sailors.

You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco team members to deliver high technology performed onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations.

In this role, you will:

• Receive technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician, and your work will be reviewed for compliance with accepted practices.

• Supervise a small team of 3-5 lower-level employees while reporting to a manager.

• Follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to fabricate and assemble various electromechanical and electronic assemblies.

• Perform work with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field under general supervision.

• Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and you will typically report to a supervisor.

• Work onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations in an area that is somewhat uncomfortable due to drafts, noise, temperature variation and the like and with equipment where carelessness would probably result in minor cuts, bruises, muscle strains, serious injury, or death

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a High School Diploma and Shipboard experience.

• Have an OSHA 10 certification or able to obtain the certification.

• Be able to use power tools, assembling both large scale and intricate mechanical assemblies.

• Demonstrate the ability to working with blueprints, assembly drawings and sketches in completing a wide variety of assembly and subassembly tasks.

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within this field.

• Experience in the fabrication and precision assembly of various mechanical assemblies.

• Applicant must be able to get respirator qualified and wear proper PPE throughout their work shift.

• Applicant must be willing to work second, or thirds shift as needed and willing to work more than 40 hours work weeks.

• Candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% to various work sites.

• Must be able to work in high heat spaces, climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift 50 pounds with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position.

• Attention to safety critical.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A DoD Top Secret with SCI (TS/SCI) clearance

• 5 years in a leadership position

• Extensive knowledge of Air Force and Space program management policies and procedures and application to development, production and fielding of major weapon systems

• Extensive experience with Defense Acquisition management processes as contained in the DoD 5000 series directives required

• Ability to work effectively both independently and a part of a collaborative team

• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal

Air Traffic Control Specialists (ATCS) control air traffic on and within the vicinity of the airport according to established procedures and policies to prevent collisions and minimize delays arising from traffic congestion. They are responsible for the safe, orderly and expeditious movement of air traffic through the nation's airspace. ATCS duties include:

• Answering radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft.

• Issuing landing/takeoff instructions.

• Issuing information such as runway to use, wind velocity and direction, visibility, taxiing instructions, and pertinent data on other aircraft operating in vicinity.

• Issuing air traffic clearances.

• Providing advice based on their own observations and information from the National Weather - Service, IFR control facilities, flight service stations, pilots, and other sources.

• Taking and disseminating weather observations at Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) or Supplemental Aviation Weather Reporting Station (SAWRS) facilities.

• Transferring control to receiving facilities when aircraft leave their airspace and receiving control of aircraft coming into their airspace.

• Operating various types of equipment such as: radios, telephones, interphones, computer systems, radar, recording systems, weather equipment, light guns, airport/runway lighting systems, and backup equipment.

• Alerting airport emergency crews and other designated personnel when aircraft are having flight difficulties.

• Coordinating with and issuing instructions to airport vehicles and personnel.

• Maintaining and disseminating records of daily operations

• Other duties as assigned

This position is contingent upon your ability to pass a preemployment criminal history check and drug screen.

Serco supports the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) by operating the free MAP patrol and incident management service program providing safe, quick clearance of incidents that affect traffic, including vehicle accidents and disabled vehicles. The primary purpose of the MAP program is to ensure state highways are free of obstructions and safe for the traveling public.

You will be part of a team that works closely with LADOTD, local law enforcement and other first responders daily.

In this role you will:

• Monitor state highways for vehicle crashes, disabled/abandoned vehicles, debris, and lane-closing events, traffic signal malfunctions, damage to state equipment on state roadways, and general incident/congestion scenarios.

• Provide roadside assistance to stranded motorists (including changing tires, giving battery jumps, providing fuel, removing debris from the travel lanes, etc.).

• Work closely with police and other first responders at highway incidents.

• Provide incident response, on-scene traffic control and limited first aid .

• Provide Traffic Incident Management (TIM) services.

• Use a two-way radio and/or smart phone to communicate and coordinate with the Traffic Management Center (TMC) staff and local Police agencies.

• Observe required safety procedures to avoid injury and accidents, at all times.

• Complete a combination of classroom and field training to be certified as a motorist assistance operator.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

• High school diploma or its equivalent

• 0-2 years' experience in incident management or related field

• Must possess a valid Louisiana driver's license

• Availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Able to work in an outdoor environment, lift/carry 50lbs, and walk unassisted for 300 yards

• Able to speak English language (Bilingual is plus)

• Minimum age requirement of 21

• Must be able to pass classroom and field training to be certified as a motorist assistance operator

In this role, you will:

• Provide support for IAMD programs and related capabilities that focus on Combat Identification (CID), Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Mode 5, Battle Management Aids (BMA), and Friendly Force Tracking (FFT)

• Articulate N2N6 interests and positions on warfighting mission and capability analyses and apply findings in support of PPBE-related decisions

• Analyze proposed and/or existing modeling & simulation plans and studies, and provide summaries, briefs, and/or recommended positions to support N2/N6 POM planning

• Support wargaming, experimentation, studies, and exercise planning where required

• Assist OPNAV N2N6 Requirements Officers in coordinating with SYSCOMs, PEOs, program offices, other Navy and other Service staffs, the Fleet, the Joint Staff, and other stakeholders by: reviewing queries, responding to taskers, tracking issues and/or concerns, and preparing draft responses in the form of clear and concise briefs, point papers, emails, and memos

• Support OPNAV N2N6's role as Resource Sponsor in all PPBE phases This includes preparing briefings, point papers, spreadsheets, statements on program status, and other products on wide array of topics, including: financial excursions, warfighting capability impacts, manpower and training requirements, science and technology development and transition, and capability wholeness

• Provide recommended courses of action to ensure program alignment with N2N6 goals, objectives, and priorities

• Attend and summarize relevant DoD Overarching Integrated Process Teams (OIPT), Working Integrated Process Teams (WIPT), and other Working Groups and Executive Committees

• Conduct regular reviews of relevant Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) reports, updates to the Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), and assessments of program acquisition strategies

• Attend and summarize relevant Independent Program Assessments (IPAs) and Defense Acquisition Boards (DAB) and assist in the preparation of required documentation and/or reports, which may have detailed and complex technical, administrative, and/or statutory requirements

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• An active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance

• A bachelors degree

• 15 years of progressive experience in capability definition and operation of Navy and/or DoD systems

Qualifications

In this role, you will:

• Provide verbal briefings to the USAFCENT/A2, and to other key leadership as directed by the A2, of significant overnight events and/or items of interest.

• Report significant activity during non-duty hours to the USAFCENT/A2 Responsible Officer (RO) and/or USAFCENT A2 Leadership as identified in the Senior Leadership Notification Checklist.

• Maintain regular contact with the USAFCENT Command Operations Center in order to provide consistent warning across intelligence and operational staffs.

• Perform basic research as directed by USAFCENT/A2 Analysis Division Chief in support of Intelligence production.

• Retrieve electronic briefings and documents from national Intelligence organizations, COCOMs, deployed and local organizations for inclusion in the USAFCENT/A2 Watch electronic file structure. Upload briefing products to USAFCENT/A2 Leadership e-readers Monday-Friday and/or as requested.

• Serve as USAFCENT/A2 24/7 focal point for research, compilation, and dissemination of A2 intelligence read file/read book.

• Serve as USAFCENT/A2 24/7 focal point for the receiving, logging, distribution, and status tracking of Intelligence Requests for Information (RFIs)/Requests for Assistance (RFAs).

• Perform duties as a data transfer for the USAFCENT/A2 Director, once provided with prerequisite USAFCENT/A2 approved Air Force data transfer agent training.

• Monitor the USAFCENT/A2 Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) security feed that provides visibility of the SCIF entrances, unless the SCIF is properly secured IAW Technical Specifications for Construction and Management of SCI Facilities.

• Maintain currency with new technologies and tradecraft for conducting Intelligence Watch duties as directed; may include attending familiarization sessions separately from watch duties when on-site training is provided.

• Serve as USAFCENT/A2 24/7 focal point for after-duty hours SCIF entry, AFCENT A2 SCIF alarms, and emergency notifications of key personnel.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Top Secret/SCI clearance.

• Six years of cumulative experience performing operations intelligence analyses in direct support of an air domain focused mission involving analysis and applying critical thought to message traffic, intelligence reports, and other incoming communications in order to discern the significance of reporting and events, prioritize actionable information, and effectively disseminate communications throughout the directorate in a timely manner.

• Five years' experience with Microsoft Office Tools Suite, internet relay chat, and analytical research techniques (Boolean queries).

Customer and Mission: Serco has engineering and program management contracts supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Support for this OSD customer will involve providing regional and global planning/exercise support to maximize strategic alignment of OSD and Defense Agency capabilities against the needs of the current operating environment in planning, exercises, doctrine, strategy, and opportunity analysis for the Agency, Combatant Commands (CCMD), and other DoD components, in coordination with interagency and international partners, while enhancing mission readiness through collective staff training.

You will collaborate closely with customers and other Serco teams to deliver quality solutions recognized by DoD and industry as outstanding contributions in engineering program and risk management across the Defense enterprise.

In this position you will:

• Planning and organize in-person or virtual meetings or special events

• Coordinate all amenities and accommodations including site selection, escorts, food/drinks, transportation, and audiovisual equipment

• Develops materials in support of events to include timelines, agendas, biographies, programs, and handouts

• Work with protocol officers to ensure proper customs and courtesies are afforded participants. Supervises junior employees

• Work directly with Government counterparts to sequence and plan multiple events throughout the year with special attention to conflict resolution and monitoring master calendars for opportunities

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Top Secret Security DoD Clearance with SCI eligibility

The ideal candidate for this position will possess U.S. Navy acquisition experience with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance. Must be comfortable in a challenging, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment with a flexible work schedule supporting multiple customers. Qualifications
