If you love a high energy and professional environment - Serco has a great opportunity for you! The Benefits Administrator position on our FRTIB Operations Center contract is Located in Fairfax Va.
The FRTIB administers the Thrift Savings Plan, the world's largest tax-deferred, defined contribution plan in support of over 6 million participants. This 401(k) type plan, similar to private sector plans provides roughly 91% of civilians and 61% of uniformed service members the opportunity to save for retirement. The FRTIB's mission is to administer the TSP solely in the interest of its participants and beneficiaries.
Benefits Administrators are responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and processing transactional Death Benefit Claim form documents for TSP participants. Administrators review death benefits documents for validity in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB) policies and guidelines. This includes making numerous telephone calls daily, researching and reviewing accounts, using independent judgment to resolve conflicting information and complex case scenarios, data entry, sending appropriate notices, and communicating with various entities (e.g. the FRTIB, governmental agencies, law firms, participants, and potential payees).
In the Benefits Administrator role you will:
Thorough and comprehensive working knowledge of the particular area of work responsibility assignment.
Must have attention to detail and time management skills, and will be responsible for maintaining a case load of up to 150 accounts at one time.
Validity determinations and communications are made by the Administrator and are confirmed by a quality control/verification Benefits Administrator. Any claims meeting a specific set of conditions will be verified by two Benefits Administrators.
Position may require the Benefits Administrator to function in a verification/quality control capacity by reviewing determinations made by other Administrators (to include either initial verification or secondary verification responsibilities) as well as notice verification.
Position may also require review of legally related documents submitted as part of the Death Benefit Claim (to include but not limited to trusts, small estates, adoption paperwork, next-of-kin submissions, and disputes).
Works under the direct supervision of a team lead and manager as applicable; may supervise an assigned workflow.
Case research to ensure all pertinent information is obtained, any information deficiencies are resolved and to validate the information received utilizing systems applications.
Interpreting guidance provided by the FRTIB in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations and applying the regulations, directives, and interpretations to determine the validity of incoming documents required by the specific workflow.
Providing timely responsive customer service to various inquiries from multiple sources and stakeholders, such as participants, confirmed or potential payees, legal representatives, and financial institutions.
Coordination, tracking and reporting within assigned workflows or between workflows
Ensures work is processed in a timely manner according to the requirements of the specific business function assignment.
Communicates effectively both orally and in writing with the FRTIB and TSP Call Centers to provide information and obtain additional information pertinent to resolution of the legal case. The analyst will be required to communicate with participants, attorneys, third parties, financial institutions, government agencies, and potential (as well as confirmed) payees in accordance with the Privacy Act.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience; Additional 4 years of related experience can be consiered in liue of a degree.
Strong analytical skills.
Familiarity with the U.S.C., C.F.R., the Privacy Act; or other regulations.
Paralegal certificate or knowledge /experience with legal documents preferred.
Strong communication (written and verbal) skills required to communicate effectively with participants and potential payees
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Self-motivated, dynamic work ethic to ensure maximum customer satisfaction is delivered.
Commitment to excellence in all work situations.
Working knowledge and experience of computer applications, including MS Office, and/or business office systems.
Multi-tasking and prioritizing competing deadlines.
Handling difficult and sensitive situations, using sound and independent judgment within general policies and guidelines.
Communicating effectively with co-workers, superiors, the general public, and others sufficient to exchange or convey information.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

In this role as a Logistics Analyst, you will:
Establish, maintain, and update IUSS unit level equipment configuration, and the attendant Allowance Parts Lists (APLs), Repairable Identification Codes (RICs), and Pseudo Repairable Identification Codes (XRICs) as applicable, within the WILD.
Research and recommend alternates and replacement items and cross reference in WILD once certified.
Perform Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) and validations as directed by the ISEA.
Whenever possible, develop revised configurations from official documentation in lieu of post-installation Form 4790CKs.
Conduct liaison with Configuration Data Managers Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) to prevent duplication of effort upon introduction of a new COTS item.

Serco supports the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) by operating the free MAP patrol and incident management service program providing safe, quick clearance of incidents that affect traffic, including vehicle accidents and disabled vehicles. The primary purpose of the MAP program is to ensure state highways are free of obstructions and safe for the traveling public.
You will be part of a team that works closely with LADOTD, local law enforcement and other first responders daily.
In this role you will:
Monitor state highways for vehicle crashes, disabled/abandoned vehicles, debris, and lane-closing events, traffic signal malfunctions, damage to state equipment on state roadways, and general incident/congestion scenarios.
Provide roadside assistance to stranded motorists (including changing tires, giving battery jumps, providing fuel, removing debris from the travel lanes, etc.).
Work closely with police and other first responders at highway incidents.
Provide incident response, on-scene traffic control and limited first aid .
Provide Traffic Incident Management (TIM) services.
Use a two-way radio and/or smart phone to communicate and coordinate with the Traffic Management Center (TMC) staff and local Police agencies.
Observe required safety procedures to avoid injury and accidents, at all times.
Complete a combination of classroom and field training to be certified as a motorist assistance operator.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
High school diploma or its equivalent
0-2 years' experience in incident management or related field
Must possess a valid Louisiana driver's license
Availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
Able to work in an outdoor environment, lift/carry 50lbs, and walk unassisted for 300 yards
Able to speak English language (Bilingual is plus)
Minimum age requirement of 21
Must be able to pass classroom and field training to be certified as a motorist assistance operator.

Air Traffic Control Specialists (ATCS) control air traffic on and within the vicinity of the airport according to established procedures and policies to prevent collisions and minimize delays arising from traffic congestion. Answering radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft.
Issuing landing/takeoff instructions.
Issuing information such as runway to use, wind velocity and direction, visibility, taxiing instructions, and pertinent data on other aircraft operating in vicinity.
Issuing air traffic clearances.
Providing advice based on their own observations and information from the National Weather - Service, IFR control facilities, flight service stations, pilots, and other sources.
Taking and disseminating weather observations at Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) or Supplemental Aviation Weather Reporting Station (SAWRS) facilities.
Transferring control to receiving facilities when aircraft leave their airspace and receiving control of aircraft coming into their airspace.
Operating various types of equipment such as: radios, telephones, interphones, computer systems, radar, recording systems, weather equipment, light guns, airport/runway lighting systems, and backup equipment.
Alerting airport emergency crews and other designated personnel when aircraft are having flight difficulties.
Coordinating with and issuing instructions to airport vehicles and personnel.
Maintaining and disseminating records of daily operations

Perform tire inspections, repairs, changes and train other technicians on proper tire maintenance.

Perform operational and functional inspections, repairs and maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment

Operate and perform diagnosis on equipment, maintain and repair hydraulic systems, routes and replaces hydraulic lines, check system for leaks and proper operation.
Perform diagnosis and repair of complex electrical systems.
Perform minor welding repairs when required.
Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Work under general supervision and is a self-starter.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:

Located in the heart of Boston's Seaport District, the Planning Yard team supports the Landing Craft Division in the maintenance of the Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC), the configuration and engineering management of the new Landing Craft, Utility (LCU) 1700, and the planning and maintenance of the new Ship to Shore Connector (SSC). In this role, you will lead the Mechanical Engineering team in the drafting, editing, review, and verification of technical manuals and craft design plans. Additionally, you will work closely with the Planning Yard Lead Engineer and the Planning Yard Manager to ensure timely delivery of contract requirements to the Navy.
Overall, you will be part of a 12-person Engineering team consisting of mechanical, electrical, and architectural engineers that works closely with the customer in delivering quality products and services to the fleet.
In this role you will:
Serve as the Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Planning Yard for the LCAC, SSC, and LCU 1700 programs.
Develop and revise installation and alteration drawings for the LCAC Extended Service Life Extension Program (E-SLEP) and other ongoing availabilities, Craft Change Documents (CCDs), and Liaison Action Requests (LARs).
Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) reviews on technical manuals, drawings, and other deliverables before sending to the customer.
Edit new and revised technical manuals.
Create, revise, and review Technical Manual Deficiency/Evaluation Reports (TMDERs).
Perform on-site craft inspections at the Assault Craft Units (ACU) or shipbuilders to verify craft configuration and currency with documentation when required.
Assist the customer with coordinating meetings, discussions, and action items for the Corrosion Inspection Working Group (CIWG) as needed.
Maintain a 3-D CAD model database for LCAC-100 (SSC) and work within the ShipConstructor program for LCU 1700.
Maintain workload and respond to tasking within the schedule and technical requirements identified in the Integrated Data Environment (IDE).
Assist, guide, and mentor junior Engineers as needed.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

In this Theater Security Cooperation Analyst role, you will:
Review, analyze, and make recommendations to the USAFCENT/A5 on the political-military, economic, military-to-military cooperation events for USAFCENT operations.
Provide assistance and expertise in the coordination of multilateral engagement events to include the Middle East Air Symposiums, support to regional air shows, conferences, seminars, and engagement programs in accordance with the USAFCENT Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) Plan, applicable guidance, and directives.

Qualifications

In this Medical Logistics Analyst, role, you will:
Prepare/provide functional area briefings, analysis, correspondence, reports, research, recommendations, inputs, and other documents and coordination in support of the Medical Logistics division of the Command Surgeon, utilizing applicable applications to include management of pre-positioned WRM and operational assets, equipment, supplies, and capabilities.
Assist with accomplishing all necessary internal operations to include administrative training, security, development and implementation of organizational operating instructions and regulations related to SG and WRM programs.
Assist with equipment acquisition and transfer which may include AF Form 601s review and transfers, gains, and losses of equipment.
Prepare applicable out-shipment transportation documentation, package cargo/items if possible, and coordinate pickup and delivery of cargo/items to Traffic Management Office (TMO) bound for CONUS and OCONUS customers.
Perform medical stock number research action, inspections tasks found in IAW AFMAN 41-209.
Advise formal course stakeholders on standardized training requirements from the field for incorporation into course requirements/objectives.
Additional roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
May participate in staff assistance and readiness/ mentorship visits to determine the effectiveness of training programs and to provide suggestions/guidance on how to improve status.

Assist with medical readiness capability-based planning related to the AFCENT/SG medical and AE mission.
Assist new personnel with initial WRM training/orientation requirements
Assist AFCENT units with the logistics requirements for medical and AE Patient Movement Assist AFCENT expeditionary medical treatment facilities, units, and gained units in problem resolution related to functional area tasks.
Attend/participate in technical meetings both locally, and/or at other worldwide locations.

In this USAFCENT Facilities Manager role, you will:
Assist the 9 AF (AFCENT) Facility Manager and 609 Air Support Squadron (ASUS) Facility Managers with technical planning, scheduling, coordination, and accomplishments of all maintenance, repair, and safety programs.
Oversee buildings 1130, 1102, 215, and 35.
Will oversee the Shaw Warfighting Platform (SWP) facilities (buildings 1901, 1902, 1903, 1921, 1923, and building 1947 609 AOC allocated facilities.
Be responsible to interface and communicate with customers, contractors, and other Government officials occupying supported facilities directing emergency and routine calls into the Base Civil Engineering customer service counter for maintenance as required.
Maintain Directorate Facility Manager Letters and TRIRIGA Training Certifications and validates Facility Manager Letters monthly to ensure availability of Military or Government Service (GS) civilians for after normal duty hours emergency situations.
Act as the command's focal point for facility safety issues.
Oversee USAFCENT facility safety programs in conjunction with USAFCENT Safety Manager.
Be developing and posting Fire Reaction Plans, promoting Fire Safety, inspecting/maintaining Fire Extinguishers and Automated External Defibrillators (AED), complying with health, safety, environmental rules, procedures and conducting daily inspections of the facility and grounds to identify deficiencies needing corrective action
Additional roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as the key control authority for issuance/re-issuance of building and office keys.
Support will include ensuring keys are not duplicated without express permission of security or the key issuing authority, issue keys to new personnel by security or key issuing authority as needed, ensure all issued keys shall be returned to security or key issuing authority upon departure of personnel, and coordinate with USAFCENT Security to have access to all locked rooms based upon contractor security clearance.
Evaluate requests for maintenance and repairs. Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance and repair work. Assist with quality assurance evaluations for all maintenance.
Coordinate with 20 Civil Engineering personnel to facilitate the timely accomplishment of work orders. Review and document work and repair of real property.
Maintain an internal tracking system for all work orders, repairs and preventative maintenance. Be prepared to provide routine updates to 609 ASUS, 609 ACOMS and 9 AF (AFCENT) Facility leadership.
Coordinate with the 9 AF (AFCENT) Facility Working Group on the implementation of new building projects. Execute equipment audits and record taking policies.
Ensure effective space management program in accordance with 20 Fighter Wing (FW) guidance and coordinate with 20 FW on parking requirements, such as reserving and assignment of spaces.
Consult with superiors and initiate required corrections for debris and snow removal.
Qualifications

Seven years' experience in facility management, facility maintenance, and/or construction.
Three years' experience with general application of standard concepts and construction principles.

In this Resource Protection Analyst role, you will:
Provide technical expertise in the implementation or evaluation of USAFCENT access entry control operations and assist with the protection of property from the dangers of sabotage, espionage, and intrusion.
Participate in access entry control and sensor systems software and hardware implementation, maintenance, testing, and periodic checks.
Assist with identifying performance limits and monitoring concerns; properly documenting outcomes as directed by USAFCENT Force Protection management.
Advise 9th AF /USAFCENT FP on coordination of air base defense, antiterrorism, FP, and physical security support with USCENTCOM, the Air Staff, and host nation forces.
Do physical security site surveys; provide effective and economical recommendations for onsite improvements to the exterior and interior security elements; to include but not limited to, security lighting, intrusion detection and assessment equipment, annunciation and display systems, security communications, or other security measures that protect Government property and personnel.
Be directed to identify, analyze, and resolve broad and complex security concerns.
Staff a 24-hour work center and will be assigned to varying shifts to support 9th AF / USAFCENT operational hours.
Additional roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Notify and assist management, if necessary, with the development of new or revised policies, procedures, and implementation.
Execute and enforce compliance to physical and personnel security requirements outlined in directives, instructions, manuals, regulations, and local policies.
Address alarms and/or telephone/radio calls by determining and taking appropriate action; identified by management.
Assess security controls to ensure security protocols are not compromised; prevent unauthorized access or unauthorized disclosure of information.
Notify management of any policy or procedure concerns, directorate security manager concerns, or personnel issues.

Operate, monitor, and maintain Video Image Control and Display system (VICADS) architecture and software, operating processes, and store images captured, recorded, and on network video recording and storage devices for multiple facilities.
Assist with Internet Protocol (IP) networking, Windows-based servers and workstations; hardware and software, as well as, Command and Control Display Equipment (CCDE), and security and video surveillance.
Assist in overseeing VICADS robust configuration parameters; alarm point priority assessment, automatic or manual call up policies, automatic pan, tilt, zoom (PTZ) presets upon alarm and intelligent queuing logic for multiple alarms.
Responsible for escorting designated personnel into controlled premises; provide an authorized service for 9 AF (USAFCENT) facilities, construction projects and/or installations during operational hours.

In this Special Security Officer USAFCENT role, you will:
Perform a full range of security duties and assignments in support of USAFCENT AFFOR A2 at Shaw.
Assist in the operation of the special security office and help administer the SCI security program to include providing SCI security guidance for other local/tenant scifs and tscifs, and Temporary Secure Working Area (TSWA) within the USAFCENT.
Each Security Discipline provides the following Sub-tasks:
Information and Industrial Security
Maintain applicable SCI directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines to adequately discharge SSO duties and responsibilities.
Ensure SCI is properly accounted for, controlled, transmitted, transported, packaged, and safeguarded.
Ensure SCI is destroyed by authorized means.
Ensure SCI is disseminated only to persons authorized access to the material and having an established need-to-know.
Investigate SCI security infractions, making recommendations to the Chief SSO on site and preparing required reports.
Maintaining continuing liaison, with collateral security officials to ensure both security levels are mission accomplished.
Conduct SCI personnel, information, physical and technical security (TEMPEST/Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) actions.
Provide all security awareness trainings as required by regulations and requested by the COR.
Personnel Security
Perform all aspects of the SCI Personnel Security Program to include, for example, nomination interviews, validation of SCI access requirements, submission of investigative requests, conduct SCI security briefings; obtain signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NdA) and Non-Disclosure Statement (NdS); and perform other related personnel security actions.
Provide a briefing on local SCI security procedures to newly arrived personnel and those receiving initial SCI indoctrination.
Emphasize unauthorized disclosure awareness, management, and reporting during indoctrination and termination briefings and day-to-day security program execution
Serve as the official channel for certifying and receiving SCI visitor clearances/accesses.
Maintain the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Defense Information System for Security (DISS) to accurately reflect all personnel under their security cognizance.
Provide guidance and assistance for processing SCI position and eligibility requests.
Process all derogatory information concerning SCI indoctrinated individuals under their security cognizance and assist commanders and directors with establishment of Security Information Files.
Physical Security
Assist in providing overall physical security and will ensure that all current and future SCI Facilities (scifs) comply with the physical security standards outlined in ICD 705 all other applicable directives and established policies.
Prepare and revise, as needed, all physical accreditation paperwork, to include the fixed facility checklists.
Ensure appropriate accreditation documentation is available for each SCIF and under the organization's security cognizance.
Ensure that each SCIF under their security cognizance conducts annual self-inspections of the security program.
Assist Government person in the creation and development of SSO documents, PowerPoint presentations, formal messages, background papers, items of interest, and staff summary packages for USAFCENT Senior Management review within specified timelines.
Support 30+ SCIFs and Temporary SCIFs within the AOR through physical presence and telephonic support. Occasional TDY support within AOR will be at the request of the CO or COR, and mission requirements.
Access JWICS by maintaining SCI eligibility.
Qualifications
To be successful in this Special Security Officer USAFCENT role, you will have:
Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
Associate degree
Must have four-year college degree with a minimum of three (3) years full-time experience working with SCI in all security disciplines, but specifically in Personnel Security, Physical Security, and Site Security Manager. May substitute two (2) years of experience in lieu of each year of college, i.e., two-year college degree requires six (6) years of full-time experience.
Must have attended and completed a formal SSO certification training and a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) 705 Physical Security Course within the last three (3) years.
Ability to work independently in an operational environment so the contractor must possess knowledge of a full range of security principles, concepts, practices, products, and services; methods for evaluating risk and vulnerability; implementing mitigating improvement; and disseminating security procedures/processes.
Must have a thorough knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 704, ICD 705 and Technical Specifications and DoDM 5105.21, V1 thru V3 and working knowledge of other applicable Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and USAF directives and regulations.
Interpret Director of National Intelligence, Defense Intelligence Agency and DoD directives and provide technical advice and guidance on SCI personnel, physical and information security standards.
Must have the ability to gather facts and use effective analytical and evaluative methods to assess information, plan the sequence of actions necessary, make sound decisions and solve a variety of security problems
Favorably completed and adjudicated Tier 5 Investigation resulting in access eligibility at least to the TS/SCI level.

The Project Control Financial Analyst will be responsible for oversight of all aspects of operational finance for their supported programs. This position positively affects company performance and ensures the team consistently and accurately meets internal and external deliverables.
Responsibilities of this role include:
Responsible for providing financial support to Program Managers in the preparation and analysis of complex project financial data, monthly rolling P&L forecast, and other complex contract, project or business related task.

Support the monthly business rhythms of both the program and finance organizations, including participating in and supporting meetings and program reviews.

Prepare subcontractor and vendor accruals as services/goods are received in accordance with GAAP and internal policies to ensure that the projects cost/commitment is accurately captured and reported internally and externally.
Analyze profit risks and opportunities and advise management on the optimal path forward.
Knowledge of general and corporate business practices, government contracting regulations and principles, and accounting and finance principles. Must be versed in various contract vehicles, i.e., CPAF, CPFF, LOE, FPLOE, FFP, T&M, IDIQs, etc. Preferred knowledge of FAR/DFAR, DCAA compliance and audits.

May train new shop personnel on machinery, tools and test equipment required for quality construction of products

As a Systems Engineer - Mid-Level with Serco, you will use your expertise to help Serco North America and our public sector customers solve challenging problems through innovative technology solutions. In this role, you will:
Work effectively on several phases of systems to include all flavors of Linux, Windows, and VMWare operating systems.
Create RHEL boxes, migrate applications, patch, hardening, and configure applications hosted on the server.
Interface with business unit representatives, developers, and application owners to address the business unit IT priorities and needs.
Assist with solution design of new or existing server environment including hardware, peripherals, settings, services, storage, directories
Provide technical input and support of systems to support the deployment and O&M of business unit specific applications.
Provide subject matter expertise with technologies inclusive of storage infrastructure (EMC), compute platforms consisting of RedHat, Windows Server, ESXI, and Microsoft Active Directory.
In addition to running and maintaining activities, be an active participant in project related activities for material changes or new corporate-wide and business unit specific technology enhancements.
Implement defined security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Evaluate, plan for, and implement DoD/DISA STIGs to the technology infrastructure.
Automate repetitive systems administration tasks to provide economies of scale.
Create from scratch technical build or update existing documentation.
Address, support, and coordinate with peer's incident troubleshooting.
Provide technical advice and recommendations to IT and business unit leadership for technical problems or improving the technology infrastructure.
Stay current with developments in the systems engineering discipline. Stay current with relevant technological advancements.
Maintain a highly diverse and fast-paced workload that may include a variety of tasks, efforts, or projects.
Will involve occasional travel.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor`s Degree and 5 years of related experience or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Must be a self-starter, adaptable to shifting priorities and highly motivated.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer facing interaction skills.
Proven experience working with NAS and SAN devices such as Synology storage arrays, EMC VNX and Unity storage arrays, and EMC Elastic Cloud Storage.
Expert knowledge around Linux systems and integrated converged stack infrastructure & hyper convergence stacks.
Knowledge of Network connectivity.
Proven experience working with the TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Networking VPN's, switching, and routing.
Understanding of backup software to include but not limited to Veeam and Druva Project.
Leadership experience to provide guidance in the following areas design, documentation, and implementation of infrastructure solutions to solve business problems
Expert skill administering Microsoft Windows Active Directory environment including domain services, sites and services, users and computers, and group policy administration.
Expert skill administering Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and above.
Strong troubleshooting experience with VMware & Hyper-V infrastructure.
Advanced engineering experience with tiered storage, DR, and replication technologies.
Expert knowledge of the VMWare stack and how it integrates into hyper-converged stacks.
Knowledge of both Commercial Cloud and Government Cloud connections
Knowledge of Docker, Github, mongoDB, Jenkins, Confluence, Jira, and bitbucket.
Additional desired experience and skills:
Expert knowledge around Linux systems.
Scripting experience preferred (Batch, WMI, VBScript, PowerShell) Scripting bash or .ps1; will need to know how create daily jobs in bash.

Is an outstanding writer with demonstrated ability to convey complex technical solution information in clear and concise expository prose,
Serves as an integral member of the pursuit team to decompose Government solicitation requirements, formulate the Concept of Operations for the opportunity, gather applicable existing information, and craft new content in a readable, evaluator-focused format,
Is able to work independently or in teams to organize material and complete writing assignments, including -book boss- and subject matter lead duties, within strict deadlines,
Uses initiative to anticipate proposal challenges and contribute to team efforts without managerial prompting,
Engages Business Development, Solution Architects and Technical/Operations Subject Matter Experts to develop and refine responses to government solicitations; Interviews pursuit stakeholders to obtain information, develop appropriate content, and garner approvals
Independently drafts documentation for partners and customers; e.g. Orals deck, White Papers, Brochures, tri-folds, and other materials for a pursuit,
In cooperation with the Proposal Manager, maintains proposal style consistency across the proposal response with quality and adherence to both customer solicitation/information requests and internal Serco standards,
Decomposes the solicitation scope of work by creating a work breakdown structure (WBS) using guidance from DoD MIL-881D,
Documents and continuously maintains approved content within the knowledge library,
Participates in training on the web-based collaborative work platform, proposal style guide, Office 365, and other related topics by PropDevOps,
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in an information technology related field
Five (5) years or more experience in technical writing for Federal/State/Local Government proposals
Ability to create new content in response to emerging requirements while using approved content and approaches.
Strong organization skills for content management and collaboration
Ability to facilitate interpersonal relationships and resolve conflicts tactfully and confidentially
Ability to review and correct material for content, style, and compliance with internal and external standards
Write and speak fluent English
Strong eye for grammatical, spelling, and other editing errors
Excellent oral communication skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Office: with emphasis on MS Word and Excel
Proficiency with Visible Thread is highly desirable
Familiarity in using Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or higher
