30 days: Provide best practices for portfolio management based on outside-in research, customized to CIBG strategic objectives; support strategic planning needs
90 days:Gain buy-in for a recommended portfolio management approach and conduct and initial review; embed the approach into strategic planning
180 days:Deliver a well-defined and bought-in portfolio management approach with a full review; support multiple strategic topics as needed
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Create and execute portfolio strategy for the $6+ billion cloud infrastructure business unit, enablingeffective resource allocation across BU portfolio
Define framework, guidelines, and process to assess the portfolio trade-offs required to balance the BU portfolio (balancing growth and core); develop trade-off analyses as needed, and facilitate trade-off conversations with senior leaders
Drive and lead the key strategic planning process for the BU,such as long range and annual planning, working cross-functionally with other BUs and functional teams
Be versatile and support a wide range of strategy topics such as M&A diligence and integration, business case development, customer research, etc.
Deploy frameworks, data, and analytical tools to solve ambiguous business problems, influence strategic decision making, and facilitate alignment across multiple stakeholders

This is a global role that sits within Global Demand Program team where we develop event frameworks and integrated marquee programs, build and package full event kits to enable Field Marketing teams in their communication and execution of the events. The vSAN team is looking for a developer to work on next generation file system project. The engineer will be part of the vSAN core team responsible for developing new vSAN features and products based on an enterprise-class virtualization platform. The team member will work with architects, product management teams and other stakeholders across sites to design and develop new features and products. Role Overview:
Closely partnering with Sales Operations, Worldwide Sales Planning & Incentives (WWSPI), and CDTO, the Connected Planning Consultant will provide thought leadership and implementation of the new global planning capabilities. The role will require working closely with global and regional sales operations teams and the technical delivery operations teams to develop, prioritize, and implement efficient and scalable planning solutions, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Thought leader on how to successfully improve our planning processes through the enhancement and implementation of Connected Planning
Manage multiple projects while driving change management across stakeholders
Closely collaborate with key customers to drive capability and efficiency enhancement
Identify and share best practice while collaborating with the Worldwide Sales Planning & Incentives team to develop and implement governance
Provide assistance with key initiatives within WWSPI
Partnership with Sales Operations, CDTO, and WWSPI functions to ensure effective collaboration, communication, and development solutions
Effectively document processes and governance
Identify Gaps and opportunities for Standardization and Improvement
Collaborate on the design, development, and roll out of planning and analytical capabilities
Robust understanding of the sales planning and incentives data systems in troubleshooting complex issues related to all aspects of Connected Planning
Advocate LEAN business practices, driving out waste through the identification and implementation of process improvements
Requirements:

Director, Strategy & Transformation - SaaS Billing Operations

Within 90 days, you will create a compelling vision across people, process, and technology to drive departmental success with quarterly roadmaps / critical milestones to lead transformation through continuous improvement, and implementation of scalable process & technology
Within 180 days of employment, you will influence leaders across different business and functional teams to streamline Order to Cash processes and recommend standard operating procedures across all relevant teams (Sales, Deal Management, Order Management, Finance, Revenue)
Within 360 days along with the above, you will be designing enhancements to the billing operations, usage and cost management framework to provide VMware Customers with world class billing, usage and cost management insights

Sara leads digital transformation efforts at VMware by creating actionable insights for the team, identifying and implementing key strategic transformations, analyzing and improving process flows, introducing automation and reducing non-value activities. Sara has a background in strategic planning and transformation in SaaS/software, management consulting, and private equity. She believes that teams work best with diversity and a combination of high-level strategic planning and detailed implementation.

Job Description
VMWare is looking for someone in Sales Operations to document, define and develop account and territory planning methodologies and processes, and ultimately establish the worldwide governance and process framework for territory planning.
The VMWare Sales Operations Consultant works within the worldwide Plan to Pay Organization, in the Sales Operations organization, and will lead efforts to optimize territory methodologies and establish globally consistent processes that can be configured in Anaplan.
Do you have a strong experience in territory and account planning, as well as a solid data and analytics background, and desire to lead change? You will be able to effectively manage and design cross-functional processes and serve as a business partner across Sales Leadership, Sales Planning, Business Intelligence, IT and broader sales operations team. Primary Responsibilities

Near Term
Support the territory and account planning process and execution worldwide
Document and analyze worldwide end to end processes, tools, and owners
Define future state processes and methodologies that can be scaled across
Design and optimize standard global territory planning processes
Support definition and management of standard worldwide account records
Mid Term
Partner with quota and compensation teams to integrate analytics and support end to end customer centric sales planning

Define detailed requirements and partner with the technology team to implement a globally standard approach in Anaplan
Long Term

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
