The Role

Roc Nation , a Live Nation joint venture, is seeking a Latin Artist Relations Intern for Equity Distribution. This role will help the Artist Relations team to create and deliver campaigns and promotion plans for EQ's Latin roster - bilingual proficiency is a mandatory requirement for this position. The incumbent will help the Artist Relations team organize and oversee music and music related products and business ventures. A successful intern should be organized, detail-oriented, efficient, diplomatic and communicative. You will assist where needed to ensure that the team runs smoothly and efficiently and that everyone is well-prepared to be successful on all their projects.

Responsibilities

The Latin Artist Relations Intern will work under the close supervision of the team that consists of A&R, content operations and digital marketing. They are responsible for communications, marketing, and creative functions for the EQ team. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain roster and release up-to-date calendar

  • Organize metadata and assets for music and music related products, including ISRCs, UPCs, artwork and videos

  • Gather and report information for playlist placements

  • Organize and distribute one sheets and electronic press kits (EPKs) for meetings, weekly status reports, etc.

  • Researching unsigned writers, bands, producers, etc.

  • Assist the Artist Relations Managers with other projects, as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to receive academic credit from your college or university

  • Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English is mandatory

  • A strong passion for music, urban culture and staying on top of current trends

  • Knowledgable about the Latin music industry in the USA

  • An ambitious and enthusiastic personality

  • Excellent communication skills including professional email etiquette

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Google Suite, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets

  • An understanding of marketing for music artists (especially digital and social media marketing)

  • Knowledge/familiarity with Airtable

This internship is available for the Spring semester. This is a non-paid internship, with flexible hours (minimum of 16 hours per week) to reflect your necessary college credit requirements.

COVID-19 vaccination series and booster shot is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Team Roc, our Philanthropy division, collaborates with partners across all industries to dismantle systems of oppression and to effect positive change for those most harmed by systemic racism. Team Roc focuses on four key areas: education, emergency relief and community goodwill, health and wellness, and social and racial justice. A cover letter is MANDATORY in order to be considered for an internship opportunity.

We are looking for an intern to support the team in our New York Office. Projects will include, but are not limited to:

  • Field calls and help manage team calendars

  • Summarize and write briefs for meetings and calls

  • Help maintain accurate and updated contact list and database

  • Provide logistical and research support for the launching and execution of client programs and internal brand initiatives

  • Provide support with fundraising initiatives and events including but not limited to coordinating mailings, liaising with vendors, assisting event team members, and maintaining event attendance records for large and small-scale events

  • Provide support with social justice initiatives including, but not limited to maintaining and updating library of case studies, drafting letters to critical stakeholders including elected officials, drafting copy for collateral including mass emails and social media posts, conducting outreach calls, and conducting research as needed

  • Assist with creating engaging digital content to post on Team Roc and client foundations' socials

  • Running errands, sorting and organizing, packing and unpacking boxes, and moving and storing items

  • Special projects, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must be current student, enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's program at an accredited college or university

  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 plus booster shot

  • Must be eligible to receive academic credit from their college or university

  • Skilled in researching, writing, intergovernmental relations, and law

  • Spanish Speaking skills or bilingual proficiency recommended

  • Computer proficiency with MS Office products and Google Suite; building database reports, presentations, managing customized email communications to small and broad networks and audiences

  • Experience managing and navigating social media communications

  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills and ability to connect with various constituencies including youth, parents/guardians, professional peers, executive level managers, influencers

The Role:

This internship will allow students to gain first-hand experience in a variety of areas, including but not limited to sourcing materials, conceptualizing ideas and research and development. Areas that you will be learning about:

  • Assist in researching top streaming platforms, mini series, tv shows, short films documentaries and narratives

  • Keeping a pulse on industry and social trends and be proactive in observing interactions with influencers, bloggers, and media

  • Support the TV & Film team on presentation buildouts, including consolidating pitch decks and sort them in to a digital tracker

  • Assist in the program content development for the festival partners

  • Participate in digest meetings including distributing agenda and taking minutes/notes/statistics

  • Prepare event space for visiting guests to ensure smooth experience

THE JOB

Live Nation is seeking qualified Box Office Managers to oversee ticketing operations for concert venues in multiple locations around the US. This detail-oriented position requires excellent organizational skills, professional interaction with management personnel, partners, clients of all levels, an ability to work efficiently, accurately and effectively under pressure, and ability to complete and prioritize tasks in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in various ticketing software, staff management, and guest relations.

This position will manage the day-to-day operations of the Box Office department within the scope of generally accepted practices and procedures for all Live Nation owned & operated and third-party venues, as necessary. Travel may be required.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Managerial Duties

  • Serve as the main Ticketing contact for all events at the venue(s) or locations assigned

  • Develop strong working relationships with Live Nation promoters, ticketing staff, guests, and affiliated partners

  • Manage the hiring, training, scheduling, and day-to-day supervision of all Box Office personnel

  • Ensure all Box Office staff adheres to the company's ticket operations policies and procedures

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external event personnel to ensure all ticketing needs are addressed

  • Organize and oversee nightly Box Office operations during events (Ticket Sales, Will Call, Ticketing Scanning, etc.)

  • Create a positive & collaborative working environment and maintain staff morale

  • Ensure Ticketing department delivers exceptional customer service to all guests and works proactively to resolve any issues that arise

Event Management

  • Build and maintain all events for venue(s) or locations assigned within the appropriate ticketing software

  • Assist talent buyers, tour personnel and internal staff, as necessary, with event programming, reporting, ticket holds and other ticketing details

  • Work with the Marketing, Production and Talent departments, artist management and label representatives to set-up events, place holds, process orders, and release tickets in a timely fashion

  • Assist with the monitoring of all ticket inventory

  • Collaborate with Pricing team to monitor and dynamically price tickets to maximize revenue

  • Partner with Ancillary Product team and Venue General Manager to create and optimize ancillary products to drive incremental revenue

  • Ensure ADA Compliant Ticketing Practices

Accounting/Financial Duties

  • Maintain accurate Box Office accounting records and archives

  • Ensure venue Box Office staff adheres to company's cash handling policies and procedures

  • Perform daily Box Office safe reconciliation, prepare deposits, and run all daily financial reporting

  • Responsible for the preparation of all Box Office settlement reports on event nights

  • Actively participate in event settlements, as needed

Other Duties

  • Monitor all ticketing software and hardware and report any issues immediately

  • Embrace all new ticketing technology provided by Ticketmaster including TM1 Entry, TM1 Sales, TM1 Events etc.

  • Keep current with all key ticketing trends in entertainment industry

  • Attend all relevant meetings, discussions, and conferences as the venue's ticketing lead

  • Any additional duties as assigned by leadership

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or comparable work experience

  • 2-3 years' experience as a Box Office manager or representative, including management level work experience

  • Strong knowledge of customer service, computer operations, and accounting/cash management procedures

  • Understanding of Ticketing systems including, but not limited to Ticketmaster Host, Archtics, AccountManager and the TM1 product suite

  • Previous experience managing season ticket business and ancillary products such as VIP Parking, Club and other premium hospitality offerings

  • Ability to provide leadership, engage in positive interaction with staff and guests, prioritize, organize, motivate staff, problem solve, delegate, follow-up, communicate and diffuse possibly volatile situations with tact

THE ROLE

GLOW is currently seeking a highly motivated and proactive Junior Graphic Designer with an impeccable attention to detail, and a strong design sense to join our dynamic design team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Lead Graphic Designer, while collaborating on the creation of visually appealing designs that align with our company's brand identity and objectives. Additionally, they will be responsible for designing weekly artwork, campaign deliverables, and finding effective solutions for designing across various formats. The position would also include working with our Marketing team, in providing media content for our various social media channels. We are looking for a designer who is passionate about their craft and eager to grow and develop their skills. This position reports directly to the Lead Graphic Designer. This is not a remote position and will be required to report into our office on a regular basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design Creation: Assist in the creation of various design materials, including but not limited to logos, brochures, flyers, social media graphics, website elements, and other marketing collateral.

  • Design Modifications: Collaborate with the design team to make necessary modifications and revisions to existing designs based on feedback and requirements.

  • Brand Consistency: Maintain brand consistency throughout all design projects, ensuring adherence to established brand guidelines and standards.

  • Layout and Composition: Apply principles of design, typography, and color theory to create visually compelling and aesthetically pleasing designs.

  • Asset Editing: Perform basic image editing tasks, such as cropping, resizing, retouching, and color adjustments, to enhance the visual appeal of designs.

  • Collaborative Approach: Work closely with the design team and other departments to understand project objectives, gather requirements, and deliver high-quality designs within established deadlines.

  • File Management: Organize and maintain design files, ensuring proper version control and accessibility for the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with design principles, layout, and typography. Proficient Mac user

  • Intermediate hierarchy, layout and typography skill set

Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus will be creating, packaging, and selling solution-based sponsorships for Roc Nation Sports International talent which includes high-profile soccer and rugby internationals

  • The role will also include prospecting and selling for Roc Nation Sports International consulting partners including (but not limited to); Serie A, Mamelodi Sundowns and United Rugby Championships

  • Dynamically adapt sales pitches and proposals based on specifically identified client interests and preferences

  • Drive partnership and business development strategies to increase revenue

  • Manage client's overall expectations and provide continuously holistic context to the progress made

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in sponsorship sales and marketing

  • A good understanding of the international sporting landscape, in particularly soccer and rugby

  • Demonstrated track record developing and maintaining relationships with multiple divisions and company leaders to ensure appropriate communications and a coordinated approach to maximizing successes with clients

  • Proven success to meet or exceed revenue targets

  • Strong creative sales strategist

  • Demonstrated capability of self-direction and motivation

  • BA / BS degree is required

THE ROLE

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for preparing and processing all aspects of payroll according to weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll cycle.

THE JOB

Responsible for all Food & Beverage; operations; related costs, procedures, quality, and all back of house labor percentages & budgets.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Responsibilities:

I. Financial Performance of Departments

  • Meets or exceeds budgetary expectation

  • Facilitate open communication with the Sous Chefs, supervisors and staff

  • Facilitate proper inter-departmental communications and organization

  • Perform timely staff evaluations (training, 90-day, annual).

  • Set written development and performance goals for all team members, and monitor progress

  • Assure complete and satisfactory on-going staff training per corporate training program Ensure appropriate staffing levels.

  • Recruitment and hiring staff/supervisors, ensure that hiring/disciplinary/termination standards follow all HOB guidelines

  • Oversee performance evaluations, and raise recommendations to AGM and / or GM

  • Maintains open door policy/one on one with staff Decisions are information based and follow up on efficiently

    III. Sale Building

  • Development, with Corporate Food and Beverage, of cost effective specials and menu changes to achieve maximum sales

  • Ensure menu changes 2 times a year in Restaurant and 3 times a year in Foundation Room are rolled out to Spec

  • Ensure food is considered excellent value for money and increases guest frequency

  • Participate in outside appearances and fund raising events to increase awareness of the House of Blues

    IV. Maintain Operation Supplies

  • All staff has supplies needed to facilitate job

  • All staff is trained (and signed off) on equipment upon hiring (Do we have sign off sheets?)

  • All equipment is maintained in operable condition

  • All events are organized and planned per HOB specs.

  • All housekeeping standards are maintained in compliance with inspection guidelines / Local Health Code

  • Final results are obtained through the use of HOB BOH tools and systems consistently

  • HOB Specs. Forms are updated and used to insure consistency

    V. Maintenance and Update of Micros, Labor Systems and Crunch Time

  • All employees input prior to work

  • All employees are job classed and current wages are inputted

  • All files are maintained

  • All menu item counts are current and maintained weekly

  • Time Card adjustment sheets are completed, input into Labor system and tracked

    VI. Food

  • All food standards are met per HOB Specs and not deviated from without approval from Corporate Food and Beverage

  • Food portions are monitored and revisions are recommended to Corporate Food and Beverage

  • New items are recommended quarterly to Corporate Food and Beverage

  • Guest and crew feedback is reported and issues resolved

  • Recipe adherence is 100%

    Qualifications:

    Required:

  • Minimum 5 years kitchen management experience and Fine Dining cooking experience in management

  • Skilled in cooking, cost controls, management, crew training and development

  • Working knowledge of Kitchen and dishwashing procedures

  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage costs, labor costs, and product cost

  • Computer knowledge: Excel worksheets, databases, word processing, and Micros

  • Ability to run all kitchen operations

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Responsibilities:

I. Essential Functions

. Coordinate all aspects of operational set-up and break down of events (equipment needs, rental needs, and station set-up)

C3 Presents is currently searching for a Talent Buyer Assistant to join the Casinos Team.   • Professional and timely response to agency requests for ticket counts

  • Interface with cross departmental teams, including marketing, contracts, legal, etc.

    Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in related industry

  • Positive attitude, eager and inquisitive nature, tenacious demeanor, and self-motivator

  • Interested and enthusiastic about music, both on a national level and as it relates to casino entertainment

  • Extensive knowledge of the music industry landscape

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and excel under pressure with high priority on meeting set deadlines

  • Superior organizational, administrative, and time management skills

  • Excellent and confident phone manner to handle significant client contact

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Personable and professional disposition

  • Solid computer skills, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook

  • Flexibility in work hours and availability, including evenings and weekends, especially during major projects events

  • Ability to travel
