Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia is the ultimate night out, with its groundbreaking integration of premiere music, 24 lanes of bowling, 2 bars, featuring locally crafted beers, and food by the acclaimed Blue Ribbon restaurant group. Located in the heart of the historic Fishtown neighborhood, adjacent to The Fillmore and The Punchline in what has become a burgeoning entertainment district, the venue is slated to open Q4, 2021, and will be Brooklyn Bowl's fourth location.

The Role:

Busser / Food Runner ensures that the bus stations and storage rooms are kept in order so that all needed items can be obtained quickly by food service personnel. They also maintain the inventory for the bus stations. If the restaurant runs short of bus tubs, silverware or any other food service utensils, it is up to this position to notify management so that those items may be obtained as quickly as possible. You will ensure that the tables (restaurant and throughout the venue) are set and maintained throughout an assigned shift. You will attend to initial needs such as water and other non-alcoholic beverages as time permits, work with food servers, cover stations, and assist as needed.

Responsibilities:

. Deliver cold and hot items by following instruction from food servers' orders; clearly describe dishes when delivered to table

. Stock the kitchen runners' windows

. Clear tables promptly after meal; bring soiled dishes, glassware and service items to appropriate areas. Clear table of remaining items and wipe clean of any debris after the guests leave the restaurant (the chairs and floor underneath the table are also cleaned at this time)

. Help to keep all kitchen expedite areas clean and up to Health Code regulations

. Properly set and clean tables for guest arrival; using appropriate silverware, tableware and paper goods. See to it that items on the table such as condiment containers are all wiped clean prior to seating of new guests

. Carry large loads of dishes to kitchen for washing

. Act as the messenger between kitchen and front of house

. Possess complete knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, etc.

. Ensure bus station, stock rooms and corridors are kept in order

. Obtain approval for stock requisitions.

. Notify management of any malfunctioning equipment

. Support other areas of the venue as necessary, such as setup, cleanup, prep work and equipment maintenance; including, but not limited to running shoes to lanes .

. Work together as part of a team to provide the best overall guest experience

Required:

. Will be lifting 20-50 pounds repeatedly

. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

. Ability to work later hours

. Strong interpersonal and communication skills

. Ability to work closely and efficiently with others

. Performing reaching and stooping motions repeatedly

. Move throughout the bar and venue areas during the entire shift

. Work in an environment with loud music, smoke and crowds for extended periods of time

. Stand or in a stationary position for entire shift

. Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms

Preferred:

. Experience in a live music environment

. Experience working in a high-volume restaurant, bar or entertainment venue preferred

. Positive, friendly attitude

THE ROLE

Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Insomniac Music Group Intern to join the records team in Calabasas, CA. This position will be hands-on experience in an exciting, fast-paces, friendly and inspired setting. This position reports to the Director, Insomniac Music Group & Insomniac Music Group Marketing Specialist.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Shadow label department closely to help with certain label functions

  • Meta-data entry, catalogue management and administrative tasks

  • Help with PR and promo outreach

  • Learn and support marketing campaigns as assigned on a regular or occasional basis

  • Hands on experience managing the social media calendar and postings on certain label channels

  • Report release statistics

  • Review demos/submissions for label and radio show

Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Insomniac Legal Intern to join the legal team in Calabasas, CA. This position will focus on drafting various documents and performing research and analysis. This position reports to Senior Counsel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn how laws and regulations are actively applied and implemented in a real-world setting

  • Prepare, review/analyze, and finalize transactional documents

  • Analyze issues pertinent to the development of production and programming

  • Exposure to applied law while performing general research relating to our business

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Mus be currently enrolled in at least second year of Law School

  • 1L or 2L of accredited law school with undergraduate or graduate course work related to contracts, copyright and entertainment/media law

  • Previous industry experience prior to law school is a plus

  • Typical commitment is 10-16 hours per week

THE ROLE

Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive PR Intern to join the records team in Los Angeles. This position will be hands-on experience in an exciting, fast-paced, friendly and inspired setting. This position reports to the Director & Insomniac Music Group Promo Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Aggregate press clips of media coverage around Insomniac Music Group releases and its roster.

  • Attend A&R meetings and track internal feedback.

  • Monitor correspondence and field pending press and promo requests.

  • Housekeeping for DJ promo archive.

  • Prep DJ promo campaigns for distribution.

  • Assist with playlist and repost management.

  • Research and foster new relationships with third party services and media partners.

THE ROLE

Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Insomniac Marketing Intern to join the Marketing team in Los Angeles. This position will create an internal database to house information on company processes and procedures to ensure everything is documented and formalized. This position reports to the Head of Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather, analyze and organize information regarding general company processes and best practices

  • Partner with various marketing divisions to gather insight into departmental processes

The Role:

We are seeking a Credential Staff to work directly with management to execute Credential Ops.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first face of Insomniac for staff check in

  • Check government issued IDs to ensure proper identification of all personnel entering site

  • Promptly solve issues that arise by utilizing resources and clear communication

  • Proactively seek out errors in credential uploads and fix them before staff arrival

  • Act as a key-holder for the credential office, ensuring safety and security

THE ROLE:

The Production Assistant will report directly to the Project Manager in all duties relating to the assigned project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Project Manager in developing, organizing and executing production different festival area operations.

  • Contribute to compiling advance documents relating to several festival areas.

  • Act as a Vendor Liaison for all related areas of production.

  • Communicate production needs in a concise and effective manner to all contributing teams.

  • Support in document organization relating to all aspects of advancing, set up documents and correspondence between vendors and production departments.

. Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary.

THE ROLE

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 4+ years direct experience in brand management, client service, media or entertainment, and/or marketing consulting, advertising or activation agencies

  • Record of success building, selling, and delivering innovative marketing programs with measurable results

  • Experience with marketing programs that blend physical and digital components preferred

  • Work with recognizable global brands preferred

  • Knowledge of consumer and market research with ability to implement into decision-making and management

THE ROLE

Insomniac is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Merchandise Booth Cashier to join the Merchandise team. We are seeking Merchandise Booth Cashiers who will be responsible for many tasks, including ringing up customers' purchases at their booths, follow directions from management, and maintain best practices for the department and organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle merchandise purchase transactions. Ensure customer is satisfied with product being purchased before completing the transaction.

  • Count in all product received. Count out all product at the end of the show.

  • Help set up merch booth and product displays based on guidance from Insomniac Merch mgmt. team.

  • Input the correct products into the cash register or Point of Sale (POS), to ensure accurate inventory is kept

  • Provide excellent customer service and relations

  • Help maintain booth cleanliness and organization throughout festival or event.

  • Follow all safety and theft prevention procedures

  • Execute day to day tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Cash handling experience is required

  • Must have great customer service skills

  • Must be well organized and detail- oriented

  • Basic math and counting skills are required

  • General knowledge of live entertainment and Insomniac brands/shows

THE ROLE

The Site Experience Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of the event productions by performing the technical and physical aspects related to show production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Defining the project and creating Project Plan

  • Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management

  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project

  • Create task lists and deliverables with their targeted completion and assigned owner

  • Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, staffing etc) required to complete the project

  • Determine what the technical requirements for the project include ie power, lighting, audio

  • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities

  • Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required

Staffing the project

  • In consultation with the director, schedule staff with appropriate skills for the project activities

  • Manage project staff onsite at warehouse and at festival grounds

  • Ensure that all project personnel receive an appropriate orientation to the organization and the project scope and plan for completion

  • Contract qualified consultants to work on the project as appropriate or required

Implement the project

  • Execute the project according to the project plan

  • Develop forms and records to document project activities and targeted goals along the project timeline

  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project

  • Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project

  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards

Control the project

  • Write reports on the project for management and executives.

  • Monitor budgeted project expenditures

  • Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures or responsibilities set forth by senior management

  • Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date and accessible

Personal skills

  • Ability to adapt to change.

  • College Degree, preferable.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Good team spirit;

  • Open-mindedness.

  • Knowledge of heavy equipment, operation, with appropriated certification.

  • Excellent Computer skills: knowledge of CAD, PDF, Adobe, Google Sheets, MS Office.

THE ROLE

THE ROLE

From character performers to stilters, dancers, aerialists, puppeteers, fur characters, circus arts & specialty acts, Entertainment Cast Members at Insomniac create unforgettable memories for our headliners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet & interact with headliners

  • Embody & stay in full character during performances

  • Maintain a high level of energy & crowd engagement

  • Pose for photo ops with headliners while fostering the Insomniac image

  • Help facilitate a team oriented environment

  • Interact courteously & professionally with headliners & staff at all times

  • Work effectively under high levels of pressure & demanding time lines

  • Must be able to wear a multitude of designated footwear, headdresses & other costuming elements for extended periods of time

  • Demonstrate elevated levels of stamina & endurance

  • Navigate & perform throughout large crowds

  • Complete assigned duties & rotations of checkpoints throughout the event

QUALIFICATIONS

Participants do not need formal qualifications, but are most desirable with a background in dance, theater & or general entertainment.

  • Must be 18 years of age

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Theatrical acting & dancing capabilities are required

  • Proficient talent in your chosen performance area

  • Energy, enthusiasm & people skills

  • Adaptable performance style to suit your costuming or audience

  • Able to accept direction and coaching with flexibility & adaptability

THE ROLE

The Site Experience Production Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the success of event productions by coordinating the technical, personnel aspects of the Site Experience department while supporting and coordinating with the Production/Project Managers and Director of Site Experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Site Experience personnel with job functions as needed

  • Create and maintain inventory and maintenance log

  • Partner with the project manager scheduling appropriate number of staff while maintaining labor costs within the assigned budgetary guidelines

  • Maintain regular communication with Site Experience Production/Project Manager

  • Facilitate proper company and interdepartmental communication

  • Advance credentials, equipment, site needs and travel details for shows

  • Attend production and operations meetings as outlined by the Production/Project Manager and/or head of the department

  • Maintain accurate vendor records

THE ROLE

The Site Experience Laborer is responsible for ensuring the success of the event productions by performing the technical and physical aspects related to show production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs the load-in and out of department equipment and props

  • Assist with audio/lighting cabling as needed

  • Responsible for communicating details of the event to crew leads

  • Assist with maintenance and repair of equipment and props

  • Comply with company safety regulations

  • Operate and care for work areas in a safe, clean manner

THE ROLE

Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Insomniac Graphic Design Intern to join the Apparel team in Los Angeles. This position will develop marketing assets for festival merch campaigns and product launches. This position reports to the Graphic Designer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Concepting and design of marketing emails

  • Creating and coordinate social media videos and posts, web assets, event flyers, and other multimedia

  • Work on all aspects of the design process, including but not limited to mockups, typography, color, final product, etc.

  • Assist with user research and usability testing to understand user experience and recognize design solutions

  • Brainstorming and executing on innovative designs and concepts for marketing initiatives alongside the Graphic Designer

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and currently enrolled in a degree program for graphic design or apparel design

  • Must be able to work out of DTLA office at least two days a week

  • Must have a strong portfolio that demonstrates a clear understanding of typography, layout, and color experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)

  • Must be an enthusiastic team player excited about pushing boundaries

  • Motion graphics experience or are strong with brand building on Tik Tok is a plus

  • Typical commitment is 10-16 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Concept, strategize, and design for venues marketing, food and beverage, special events, sales, brand and operations teams

  • Translate creative direction into highly visual designs and experiences

  • Elevate current creative and partner with Creative Services team on new concepts

The Role

Job Functions

  • Assist with ingress of guests, and controlling access to non-public areas

  • Assist with checking personal items as guests enter the venue

  • Check tickets and credentials to control access to designated areas.

General Summary

We are seeking an AP/AR Specialist. Position is a blend of transactional and entry-level Accounting. This

Responsibilities:

- Review and record manual checks into accounting module and positive pay system. Review entails

ensuring all check logs are accurate and all required supporting documents are filed accordingly

- Initiate wire requests and input outgoing wires into the A/P system

- Perform accounts payable processing tasks including review for approval, invoice entry & filing

- Initiate payment for items such as rent, taxes, artist, charity, and promoter settlement

- Prepare paperwork, secure proper W-9 documentation and set up new vendors in A/P

- Coordinate with vendors and internal operations management for bill payment and resolution

- Resolve open credit items with vendors

- Review uncleared manual checks for possible void and re-issue

- Apply payments received to open invoices in A/R module

- Complete account reconciliations as assigned by supervisor

- Prepare and record journal entries

- Provide audit support as needed

- Assist with month-end close process

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- College Degree with accounting/finance coursework and/or major preferred

- 2+ years of experience

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail

- Ability to travel

The Role:

The Security Manager is responsible for the overall management of the security department to ensure guest, employee, artist and venue safety. Also, control's cost and ensures total guest satisfaction by guarding, patrolling, monitoring the premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.

Job Functions:

  • Work in conjunction with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures that relate to the security department as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations.

  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.

  • Moves throughout the venue and all areas to visually monitor and take corrective action when needed.

  • Provides guidance and improvement and implements necessary adjustments.

  • Investigates and resolves security complaints. Interacts positively with guests

  • Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.

  • Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

  • Interviews, selects, trains, supervises, counsels and disciplines security staff for the efficient operation of the security department.

  • Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.

  • Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

  • Organizes and conducts meetings and communicates pertinent information to the staff. Schedules and directs staff in their work assignments.

  • Regularly reviews and evaluates the department and recommends and implements new operational policies and procedures when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role- In certain states, a Guard Card is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures.
