The Publisher Technologies team builds and operates extensible services that empower 1P Publishers to improve the monetization of their customer experiences, along with the experiences themselves. We bias toward standards-based and flexible designs that allow Publishers the ability to invent on top of our solutions and to interoperate well with other advertising technology providers; both internal and external.
The Publisher Technology Data, Insights, and Analytics team enables faster data-driven decision making for Publishers and Monetization teams by providing them with near real time data, data management tools, actionable insights, and an easy-to-use reporting experience. Our data products provide Publishers and Monetization teams with the capabilities necessary to better understand the performance of their Advertising products along with supporting machine learning at scale.
In this role, you will join a team whose data products and services empower hundreds of teams across Amazon with near real time data to support big data analytics, insights, and machine learning at scale. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement advanced data tools, predictive models, and machine learning algorithms to support Advertising strategies and optimize revenue streams. You will analyze large-scale data to identify patterns and trends, and design and run A/B experiments to improve Publisher and advertiser experiences.
Key job responsibilities
Design and lead large projects and experiments from beginning to end, and drive solutions to complex or ambiguous problems
Create tools and solve challenges using statistical modeling, machine learning, optimization, and/or other approaches for quantifiable impact on the business

Communication and documentation of methodologies, insights, and recommendations for senior leaders with various levels of technical knowledge
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience
4+ years of data scientist experience
Prior experience in advertising or digital marketing, with an understanding of programmatic advertising and the digital advertising ecosystem
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of data visualization using AWS QuickSight, Tableau, R Shiny, etc. experience
Experience as a leader and mentor on a data science team

As the Global Partner Development Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and deliver on our Smart Manufacturing Initiative , drive GenAI adoption across Manufacturing Customers, increase ER&D services across different verticals with a key strategic, global consulting partner.
AWS partners & resellers include the largest software and systems integration companies (such as SAP, Adobe, Cognizant, Accenture, Deloitte, Wipro, PwC, TCS and others) as well as hundreds of innovative software and services companies who are using AWS as their cloud platform of choice. This role will focus on working with a single, global, strategic consulting partner and their AWS partner development managers to create large deal pipeline and win programs to support large enterprises on their transformation journey to AWS. Responsibilities include building C-level relationships at partner organizations and within AWS, creating long term vision statements and strategic plans to support your partner's objectives to build cloud businesses, and establishing strategic agreements to execute on the shared plan that drives top line revenue growth through application modernization on AWS and joint GTM efforts worldwide. You will work with AWS technology partners to build or transform their business by engaging with C-level leaders, facilitating workshops, and driving to a particular business transformational outcome around smart manufacturing, IoT, GenAI and ER&D.
By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with this strategic partner, you will be responsible for driving pipeline, new revenue growth, increased market adoption and the expansion of the partner's largest global AWS migration opportunities . You will possess a business/sales background with a leading consulting or systems integrator that enables them to develop forward thinking initiatives that will create large and strategic partner led deals that have migrations to AWS cloud at its core with some experience in Manufacturing /IoT/Engineering Services . You will not only create and conceptualize tech programs, but also be able to manage their roll-out through their partner. You will think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and can build strong industry relationships. You are an influencer by nature and must be seen as someone for which the partners are eager to engage.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop extensive executive and senior management relationships within partner organization; being viewed as a "trusted advisor"
- Developing a portfolio of large deals where smart manufacturing / ER&D services / IoT on AWS are key element with the strategic Partner and qualifying the most attractive opportunities based on proactive market screening, account targeting and business analysis techniques for potential engagement
- Create, articulate, and position an innovative and compelling vision and value proposition so that Partner executives clearly realize the financial benefits and transformational value to their customers business of migrating to AWS
- Develop a multi-year commercial value proposition to support large deals and migrations to AWS with the strategic Partner while managing complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal group
- Help the partner set up their business to manage large scale migrations, supporting their customers overall journey to the Cloud
- Drive the co-development of new go-to-market solutions and opportunities with the partner
- Serve as a key member of AWS Global Partner Migration Program team in helping to define and deliver the AWS strategy to engage partners and drive large scale migrations with partners
- Manage revenue targets and work with the partner and AWS sales organizations to achieve/exceed goals
