CACI is currently looking for junior level Mechanical Engineer to join our team integrating next generation digital engineering and digital warfare systems for the Department of Defense. The Opportunity:

  • Support multiple task orders and must have an understanding of systems engineering and design processes and procedures; this will include Counter-Unmanned Systems (CUxS) and Digital Integration efforts supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division.

  • Responsible for technical rigor, and provide support to the Program Manager and Chief Engineer on the organization, direction and coordination planning and execution of all activities associated with assigned delivery order projects.

  • You will demonstrate competent writing and oral communication skills.

  • You will also ensure quality products and services are delivered to the customer.

Responsibilities:

Your overall primary job responsibility consists of mechanical engineering and integration, project management support, and execution to the Program Manager. Project specific tasks will require knowledge of the system engineering and acquisition process focused on mechanical engineering, and encompassing multiple engineering and logistics disciplines, within cost, schedule and performance constraints.

  • You will help define mechanical system implementation approach and operational concepts, design and develop models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.

  • You will also provide technical support related to implementation of the mechanical elements of system architectures with other staff.

  • You will work with CACI Program Manager and DoD customers to capture design requirements and develop products for testing and evaluation.

  • You will be responsible for design and documentation control, to include responsibility for generation and review of technical documentation.

  • Conduct Analyses at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

  • You will also support project meetings as assigned.

  • Working with the Program Manager, and financial and procurement team, you will perform market research analysis of materials and resources, develop and revise rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates, and provide current and historical data for the acquisition of goods and services.

  • Supporting the Program Manager, you will identify project requirements including justification write-ups, sole-source recommendations and technical evaluations.

  • You will closely monitor project team, performance, to include vendors, to ensure technical rigor and that materials and parts will be delivered on time and that the end product will meet customer needs.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline.

  • At least 3 years engineering experience.

  • Proficiency with CAD software, to include SolidWorks, Solid Edge, and AutoCAD.

  • Ability to support management of project schedules and project integrations within site processes.

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work and communicate at multiple levels from senior leadership to installation teams.

  • Experience with project initiation and tailoring, as well as industry accepted technical rigor practices, to include System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) processes and practices.

  • Experience with tracking project deliverables, milestones, and schedules for systems or software delivery programs.

  • Experience with requirements generation, traceability, review and tracking.

  • Experience with program management, Readiness reviews, and Governance boards.

  • Experience with conducting technical exchange meetings.

  • Experience with working in team environments.

  • Demonstrated experience with requirements tracking.

  • Demonstrated experience creating, drafting, and reviewing program documentation.

  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

  • Excellent technical writing and data presentation skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.

Desired:

  • Experience managing access and connecting to various databases

  • Demonstrated experience with requirements traceability / tracking and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to include DOORS and CAMEO.

  • Familiarity with CUxS systems.

  • Familiarity with shipboard, ashore, and/or aircraft integration (process).

  • 7 years engineering experience.

  • 3 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer.

  • Experience working in DoD community.

  • Active security clearance

CACI is seeking a TS/SCI Cleared Project Scheduler to support our Air Force customer in Hampton, VA. This position will be a part of our Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team for AF DCGS. You will support the IT Service Management Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides support and assistance as needed to Senior Leadership; tracks activities, schedules and ensures quick turn taskers and updates are addressed and successfully closed out.

  • Generates, updates, and maintains schedules driven by strategic planning tasks and monitors the progress of completion.

  • Analyzes tasks to establish work interrelationships and dependencies and to establish the project schedule for the ITSMO Lead and Government review in the IRB, ARB, ECB, Working Groups, and Integrated Project Teams.

The Opportunity:

As a CACI Sensitive Activities CBRN SME (Part time), you will support the Department of Defense and the USSOCOM Enterprise in their efforts to identify, characterize and counter WMD and Irregular Warfare threat networks capable of threatening US National Security and Integrated Deterrence objectives, via the use conventional and improvised weapons of strategic effect and other chemical, biological, radiological threats as required.

Responsibilities:

You will embed with a sensitive activities team in order to advise the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, the Combatant Commands, National Mission Force and Interagency Partner elements at all echelons of command on effectively leveraging specially compartmented material and non-material capabilities through the use of Cyber techniques to identify, characterize and counter WMD and Irregular Warfare threats and the networks that employ those threats. You will provide subject matter expertise to SOCOM, Combatant Commands and their JTFs while maintaining situational awareness of applicable Special Access Programs, Special Technical Operations, ACCM, and sensitive activity plans, operations, units, and friendly and adversary capabilities.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Security Clearance, willingness to submit to a CI Poly.

  • Experience with Chemical weapons detection and countermeasures.

  • Analysis of WMD counterproliferation, sanctions evasion, illicit shipping networks, threat finance.

  • Research experience to illuminate illicit procurement networks, identifying sanctions evasion, and key nodes of illicit activity.

  • Demonstrated skills in WMD and CHEM Bio Scenario and inject development for multi-national exercises.

  • Served as a SOCOM chemical weapons subject matter expert.

  • Categorized MASINT collection, logistics, and laboratory analysis of WMD topics.

  • Provided expert guidance for WMD and national security investigations with Federal Law enforcement agencies.

Desired:

  • More than three years of experience with SOF, SMU, Special or Technical Units of Federal, State or Local Law Enforcement.

  • Familiarization with the use of offensive and defensive CRNE applications.

  • Working knowledge of USSOCOM, Inter Agency/Intelligence Community and the DOD Sensitive Activities enterprise.

  • Experience and capability to perform tasks with Microsoft productivity software and applications.

  • Practical understanding of Microsoft SharePoint, Google Earth spatial analysis software, as well as web-based intelligence tools and databases available through SIPR and JWICS.

  • .Must be able to work independently with some government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$71,500 - $150,200
