Role Definition

This role will give you the opportunity to play a key part in the newly formed Global Operations and Supply Chain organization within the Large Electric Power Division. In this role you will lead teams who are assigned to multiple complex programs or projects. This role will own the strategy development and then deployment, business and facility cadence, organizational development, lean manufacturing in operations, supply chain, and customer quality. The role will additionally act as chief of staff reporting to the Director of Operations and Supply chain.

Responsibilities

- Overseeing the development, and management of all project teams within the program, including both internal staff and external contractors. Also, directs day to day work assignments while coaching, mentoring and setting priorities.

- Requires broad experience in Project Management tools and processes, and ability to: facilitate projects, lead chartering sessions, develop / validate network diagrams, lead integration and compression sessions.

- Designing, establishing and monitoring the organization's project management goals.

- Collaborating with clients on using a disciplined project management approach and coaching them on their project-related roles and responsibilities.

What You Will Do:

Caterpillar's Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is seeking talented individuals for Material Specialist roles.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Safely perform the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.

• Utilizing order pickers, reach trucks, and sit-down forklifts. Keep in mind, not all available positions operate equipment.

• Operate handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.

• Perform housekeeping functions as required and reports defects and need for repairs.

• Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.

What You Will Get:

• Starting wage is $20.07/hour plus $.75/hour shift differential for second and third shifts.

• Starting wage is $20.07/hour for AWS shift.

• Overtime opportunities paid at time and a half (some may be mandatory).

• Double time on the second worked day outside of the employee's regular workweek schedule.

Shifts:

This position is for a AWS- Level 3 Machinist Technician within the Large Power Systems Division located in our Lafayette, IN facility. Candidates must have a strong machining background with experience in boring milling, drilling and reaming. Must have knowledge of CNC programs and be able to make offset adjustments as required. Candidates will machine engine components using lathes, mills, drills, boring machines, and / or grinders. Must be able to use various gages to verify part quality.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for production, quality, housekeeping and other related duties associated with the operations.

• Set up and operate NC machines, transport material, audit, operate wash tanks and operate some manual operations

• Interpret Job Instruction Sheet, Standard Work Documents, GageIt (gage tracking), CMM data, and accountable for processes by monitoring Infinity.

• At times may be required to work overtime to support the manufacturing requirements.

• Troubleshooting ability to solve everyday problems.

• Flexibility to float from one machine to another.

• Must be able to manage time and work well in a team environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong working knowledge of machining principles; basic SPC, blueprint reading; understanding of geometric tolerances; ability to interpret CMM reports; quality data; and work experience in a lean manufacturing environment.

• Required to stay in section for 12 months except for a promotion or nights to days move

Physical Requirements:

• Candidates for all positions must have the ability to work in a fast pace, medium to heavy duty assembly, technical environment.

• Work may involve frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing, and standing on concrete for 8+ hours.

• All positions also require the ability to lift 40 pounds and withstand frequent repetitive movement of hands with a variety of tooling.

• Some positions require the ability to perform tasks on a moving conveyor under time constraints

• Some positions require the ability to climb ladders, stairs, work on platforms and work at heights

Building the Foundation

• Serve as the primary consultant and Subject Matter Expert on standard Framework Agreement offerings, as well as tailored solutions that can be leveraged based on the unique needs of each customer

Job Summary:

This position is for a dedicated security engineer to provide cybersecurity consulting within the Autonomy and Automation (A&A) areas in support of the IT environment. This position will serve as a liaison between the A&A team and Caterpillar IT Cybersecurity teams to ensure appropriate cybersecurity standards are communicated, understood, and incorporated into solutions and processes. As a Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) Project Team Leader (internally known as 6 Sigma Black Belt), Medium Tractor Product (MTP) CPI black belts utilize the corporate CPI process and tools for leading teams to resolve product and process issues and implement improvements in production and/or on existing products with dealers and customers. • Complete 6 Sigma black belt and CPI project leader training as soon as practical once on the job.

• Lead and manage CPI process execution for assigned CPI Projects.

• Close-resolve 10-12 standard projects per calendar year when fully effective.

• Plan, coordinate, and ensure execution of all team activities.

• Maintain and communicate project status and 6 sigma phase (DMAIC) completion targets; ensure required elements of each 6 Sigma phase are completed and properly documented.

• Escalate obstacles to timely project execution to the project sponsor and CPI list manager.

This position is for a dedicated security engineer to provide cybersecurity consulting within the Autonomy and Automation (A&A) areas in support of the IT environment. Job Summary

As a Senior Strategy Manager for Caterpillar's Electric Power Division (EPD), you'll have the opportunity to grow the electric power business through mid to long-term development and execution of innovative commercial strategies and integrated customer offerings to create more valuable energy outcomes for customers.

The role requires a strong external focus for development of market research and partnerships with technology providers, as well an ability to identify and analyze potential inorganic growth opportunities in adjacent and transformational growth areas. • Assess the market including competitive issues, market dynamics, market service needs and the company position in the industry

This IT Application Analyst position will provide application and technical leadership for Data Integration products within Caterpillar IT. The incumbent will have product ownership of Data Services (DS) Extract-Load-Transform (ETL) tools and responsibilities. They will engage with business partners, developers, and support teams to provide integration services for a wide variety of projects and business needs. The selected candidate will also be a key team member of the DS Data Integration team and ETL, participating in strategic decisions that shape the landscape and services provided to Caterpillar. This role reports to an Information Technology Manager.

• Perform an active, leading role in shaping and enhancing the overall product(s) architecture.

• Ensure solution designs adhere to product architectural standards.

• As a Core team member of Enterprise ETL migration project, work with business partners and vendor teams to successfully deliver the projects within committed timelines.

• Contribute to standard practices for problem-solving approaches, tools, and processes.

• Facilitate in application design reviews and walkthroughs.

• Create and evaluate technical alternatives for complex applications.

• Interpret application services such as API; integrates them with technical design.
