Job Summary:
This team member supports senior leaders on their internal communications and message alignment; creates employee- and executive-facing communications content; participates in the planning and execution of employee communications programs within the organization; and assists on special projects for the broader function. The team member has experience working in a tech-based environment at a large, matrixed organization. Decisions made by this position are less routine and with intermediate risk issues. Challenges include meeting expectations in delivering results, considering alternative courses of actions, making timely decisions, influencing outcomes, and continuing to build communication skills.
What You Will Do:
Supporting business leaders in the development of internal communication strategies, message alignment, and communications materials (presentations, SharePoint sites, etc.)
Collaborating with internal stakeholders and leaders and advising on the suitability of approaches for communication efforts.
Developing and distributing communications materials, such as written communications, presentation materials, etc. to deliver key messages.
Tracking and analyzing metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communications.
The position generally owns several communications vehicles and manages several non-repeating projects, both internally and externally, through completion. Internal communication outlets utilized could include newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, intranet, videos/streaming media, employee meetings, correspondence, special events, news conferences, cascades, etc.
Communications Business Partnership
Advises Cat Digital leaders on how communications can support and enable their business objectives, including strategic communications consultation, message development, communications planning, and cross-division alignment.
Proactively works with senior leaders to understand business priorities, develop and align messaging, and cascade messaging across channels.
Takes into account competing and changing priorities, resources, and time demands to produce plans that are realistic and achievable.
Creates visually compelling communications collateral to engage executive and employee audiences.
Content Creation
Actively contributes to division editorial planning & execution and supports cascading of relevant business information, including researching and writing articles, planning meetings, and developing presentations.
Identifies the proper channels to reach target audiences.
Manages editorial projects through the entire lifecycle of an assignment, from planning through content creation and distribution to target audiences
Communications Channel Management & Operations
Plans and implements deployment of strategic messaging, according to business needs.
Advises on channel strategy and supports development of new channels as necessary.
Uses data to improve communications and makes recommendations on improvement opportunities.
Typical internal customers include various contacts throughout the enterprise.
The position manages the completion of its own work assignments and coordinates work with others. Impacts key quality goals including Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Timeliness, Accuracy, Efficiency, Cost Savings, Process Quality, etc.
What You Will Have:
Advanced proficiency in Office 365
Strong visual communications skills, especially in PowerPoint

Ability to identify, obtain, and organize relevant data from multiple sources to generate recommendations for actions and continuous improvement

The Americas Central Division is looking for a Senior Sales Representative (also known as an Aftermarket Services Representative) to cover dealers in North America through providing optimized coverage for Construction Industries (CI). The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for delivering growth in a diverse dealer territory and transform how we do business. What You'll Do / Job Duties and Responsibilities
Achieve annual business plan including CI Sales to Users (STU), Customer Value Agreement (CVA) growth, rebuild growth and Prioritized Service Events (PSEs) won for the assigned dealer territories.
Partner with dealer's parts and service sales management, sales teams, and marketing management to influence sales execution and sales funnel management.
Deliver profitable growth leveraging the Four Disciplines of Execution (-4DX-) methodology.
Understand, document and communicate customer requirements, competitive landscape and other market intelligence to Services Development, product groups and/or other internal stakeholders.
Optimize parts sales variance utilization within budget to drive incremental business.
Manage travel & entertainment budget.
How You'll be Successful (Basic Qualifications)
Prior experience in a dealer-facing field assignment (or equivalent)

The management of packaging suppliers (Genset packaging for MW+ diesel and gas generator sets) for Caterpillar in the Americas. Key responsibilities being Supplier management achieving, Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development and Cost targets -QCLDM,- of this growing spend category.

Accountable for driving the adoption of a major new business development.
Developing and managing external Packaging Solutions with Suppliers on a regional basis.
Integration of the network into the Global S&OP.
Responsible for the leadership of a team of Commercial Engineers and Project management/Supplier development engineers, based across a region.

The purpose of this job is to safely weld in all position according to company specifications and standard work.
Job duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Follow documented procedures, standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect free operations.
Hand weld all plain and alloy structural steel in all positions.
Use of jib or gantry crane to manually position weld equipment.
Grind and dress fabricated weldments.
May operate forklift, scissor lift and area lift to access weldments.
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of FCAW and experience with 10+ multi-pass welds on heavy 2- plate.
Experience with back gouging, carbon arcing or air arcing.
Must pass 3 weld qualification tests using FCAW large diameter wire (3/32 and .052).

Job duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Plan, layout and install specifications for all types of piping (hydraulic, air, steam, grease, etc.).
Plan, layout and install from complete or incomplete engineering specifications, schematics, drawings and/or sketches, including measuring pipe lengths, location of fittings, etc.
Attach proper fittings and gauges and bend to desired shape when necessary, utilizing power cutting, threading, flaring and bending tools whenever possible.
Clean piece for assembly and use sealing materials on all fittings and joints as required.
Assemble units in pipe section as much as possible.
Install units manually with jib or overhead crane when necessary.
Test installation and make changes and adjustments as needed.
Disassemble, clean, prepare and make ready for shipment as required.
Perform above operations on lines such air, hydraulic, lubricating, etc., on products such as quarry machines, strippers, etc.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience with thread dies, portable drillings and sawing tools, screwdrivers, pipe wrenches, chisels, and other hand tools, jib and overhead cranes, etc.
Previous experience working with steel, copper pipes, tubing, elbows, tees, couplings, unions, fittings, grease, oil, coolant, other miscellaneous hardware, gauges, etc.
Working knowledge of High, medium and low pressure hydraulic and automated lube systems.
Ability to read drawings.

Caterpillar's Integrated Components and Solutions Division (ICS) has an opening for an Engineering Project Leader in Chillicothe, IL. This role contributes within the Component workgroup in ICS focusing on component project line management and significant NPI delivery. This role serves as the harness component Subject Matter Expert and Project Leader in the areas of machine and engine Harness Requirements Management, Configuration Management, Product Data Operational Efficiency (PDOE), and Lean Product and Process Development. This role is responsible for managing multiple or complex engineering projects involving design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic components for use within machine and engine systems.
Caterpillar's ICS team develops electrical and electronic components for use on Caterpillar products. This position has product line responsibility for a portfolio of wire harness components used in Caterpillar equipment, both machines, engines, and other products. The candidate with manage multiple or complex engineering projects involving design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic components for use within machine and engine systems.
The position requires a person with strong leadership qualities, extensive machine, or engine system experience, and one who can work effectively across different business units. Along with leading a team of engineers this role will have oversight responsibility for ICS' prototype harness shop.
Job Duties (What You Will Do)
Lead, coach, and mentor an engineering team that manages a portfolio of harness products and provide technical oversight.
Collaborate effectively with other functional areas of the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, commercial team, and suppliers.
Communicate project requirements and tasks while gaining insight and feedback from the team.
Translate both verbal and non-verbal information from the customer, management, and team members.
Oversee prototype harness work in the harness lab located in Mossville DD. Help establish work priorities in the lab and communicate plans to deliver harnesses to internal clients. When necessary, farm work out to harness production houses set up for this work.
Serve as team spokesperson in meetings with multiple levels of management.
Support component and system multi-generational product strategy development and aligning program scope with those strategies.
Provide component technical expertise to clients positioned across enterprise.

JOB SUMMARY: Provide complete external staffing support to specific functional areas of the Financial Products Division (FPD) and internal staffing assistance as needed.

JOB SUMMARY:
Coordinate team members' work assignments and activities of the functional area of assignment. Under general supervision, lead development of solutions to customer related requests and/or system problems. Facilitates research in order to identify and post Un-applied Suspense (U/A) payments.
Utilizes extensive research methods, including but not limited to the following: Intranet/Internet research, Salesforce, InfoLease, Finance Express, communication with internal FPD employees, external CFSC and CFSL employees; FPD, CFSC, CFSL and Capital Solutions customers; Caterpillar Dealers; external financial institutions, etc.
Makes decisions within the scope of delegated authority. Assigns ownership for and ensures the accurate posting of all U/A funds.
Encourages collaboration with other Cash Applications Team members, internal FPD personnel, external CFSC and CFSL employees and FPD, CFSC, CFSL and Capital Solutions customers to ensure that no funds remain in U/A for more than 180 days, except for items that are required to remain in U/A for an approved business reason.
Ensures that the U/A reps maintain back up for every U/A request that is received and resolved. Submits the required paperwork to Accounting.
Sends email notification to requesting party that transaction is complete. Updates Salesforce notes and closes case, if applicable.
Oversees the identification of over payments and approves refunds when necessary within their authority with assistance from a manager if needed. Oversees the CFSC, CFSL and Capital Solutions Treasury reconciliation report (i.e. data file) that is received from the bank in order to process incoming wire transfers. This acts as a verification report, which is used to balance the cash posting of wires for Accounting.
Oversees the application of direct credits to customer accounts for waived bank fees as a result of incoming wire transfers.
Oversees the resolution of payment discrepancies by assisting in reconciliations on customer accounts. Accomplishes this by closely working internal FPD employees, external CFSC and CFSL employees, FPD, CFSC, CFSL and Capital Solutions customers and Caterpillar Dealers.
May create manual batches for miscellaneous bank credits and debits referenced on the bank statements associated with CFSC, CFSL and Capital Solutions customer's accounts and post them to the appropriate contract or GL account. For bank debits, works with Reversal Team to reverse and reapply funds appropriately.
May process direct credits and reversals requested by outside departments (e.g. CFSL, Customer Accounts, Customer Solutions and other portfolio management groups) or as the business need requires.
Develops cash application procedures and training documentation. Leads the research and communication of various posting activities and errors to the internal business partners. Participates in the accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department.
Progress toward accomplishment of objectives is measured through maintenance of necessary measurements and analysis of associated data. Participates in the identification of problem areas and development of resolutions to address them.
Understands the Harassment policy of the company and is responsible for its application in all aspects of employment.

The purpose of this job is to safely weld in all positions according to company specifications and standard work.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Follow documented procedures, standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect free operations.
Hand weld all plain and alloy structural steel in all positions.
Use of jib or gantry crane to manually position weld equipment.
Grind and dress fabricated weldments.
May operate forklift, scissor lift and area lift to access weldments.
Identify income material, parts sub-assemblies, weldments.
Position and align manually, with jib, gantry or overhead crane, work components to assemble large structure weldments in accordance to detailed drawings using jacks, clamps, jigs, fixtures, templates, and other layout tools such as surface gauges, tram points, calipers, combination sets, wedges, blocks, etc.
Clamp, bolt, tack weld, layout, burn, air arc, mark, and label to blueprints
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of FCAW multi-pass (10+) welding experience on heavy plate (2+ inches).
3+ years of structural heavy plate / structure fitting experience
3+ years of reading and comprehending complex blueprints
Experience with back gouging, carbon arcing or air arcing.
Must pass three (3) weld qualification tests using FCAW large diameter wire (3/32).
Must pass two (2) structural fitter qualification tests using FCAW large diameter wire (3/32).

As a Machine Repair Mechanic at Caterpillar Inc., you will mechanically troubleshoot and repair complex domestic and foreign machine tools and related equipment that perform milling, drilling, and grinding functions to cast iron and steel components.
Job duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Troubleshoot and repair the following types of machines and components: Liebherr, DMG, Pietro Carnaghi, Ingersoll, Innse, and Pama and variety of others in the machine shop as well as various cranes and hoists, conveyors, furnaces, welding assets, etc.
Install, repair, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ball screws, precision bearings, scraping principles, and a variety of other controllers on the machines
Leveling and alignment of machines, alignment of shafts, gearing, welding, lubrication principles, and tube bending
Required Qualifications:
Journeyman Machine Repair/Millwright (state Indentured) or, Associate Degree in Mechanical field or, Union Journeyman Card or, minimum 5 years' experience in the maintenance and repair of machinery and machine tools as a Machine Repair Technician or, equivalent military experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of machinery tools in an industrial environment OR successful completion of an approved, field-related college/technical school program, a machine repair apprenticeship, military training, or equivalent.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of complex machine tools to meet customers' needs.
Ability to read and interpret machine mechanical prints and hydraulic schematics.
To qualify for maximum rate at this classification, employee must satisfactorily demonstrate proficiency in theory and application relative to machine tool repair.

Skilled and experienced with preventative and predictive maintenance practices and technology.
Metal fabrication skills.

Full Time- 3rd Shift
PRIMARY FUNCTION :
Set up and operate CNC controlled horizontal milling center and horizontal boring bar to machine large steel structures, forgings, castings, weldments, and plates.
Use of related components and equipment including: metal cutting tools and inserts, tool holders, collets, tool pre-setter machine, fixtures, work holding and clamping equipment, various hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. Jib and overhead cranes used for material handling.
Description:
Review manufacturing documents for operation sequence, setup and work holding information.
Identify work piece and assist in loading on machine.
Set up and align part using blocks, shims, parallels, wedges, clamps, etc.
Assemble proper cutting tools for operation using tool holder, chucks, collets, drills, taps, reamers, mills, facing, and boring tools, etc. Index cutting inserts as required.
Load CNC program and perform a trial run to check program accuracy when needed.
Use process instructions and G & M code program to operate CNC milling and boring machine
Adjust or select machine parameters such as feed rate, speed, and offset values where required.
Perform very close tolerance machining operations such as facing, boring, counter boring, drilling, tapping, etc. on large structural weldments, castings and forgings.
Perform in process inspection of machined parts as required to maintain quality requirements.
Make appropriate program changes and edits where required. May on occasion need to operate machine manually, without program.
Assist in unloading and remove processed parts from machine.
Clean up work piece removing burrs, chips, coolant, etc.
Keep facilities, material, and work area clean and orderly,
Conform to safety and inspection requirements and perform all the above operations in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
One to three years of actual, hands on, CNC machining experience; demonstrate good skill and ability on the machines operated.
Read and interpret part drawings and blueprints.
Ability to use quality inspection gaging, indicating, and measuring techniques including verniers, calipers, and micrometers.
Know basic machine shop math, including high school trigonometry.
Know basic machine shop practices.
Demonstrate basic knowledge of machining terminology and procedures.
Demonstrate a safe work history.
Top Candidates will have:
CNC milling and boring of steel and other metals experience preferred.
Familiarity with Siemens and Fanuc controls and operator interface
