Description:
This role will be a key business partner and leader to the engine components organization is in the Large Power Systems Division and consists of our Cast Metals organization facilities in Mapleton, IL and Hodges, SC, and the Pontiac, IL facility.
In addition, this role and his/her team will support the product development of fuel systems, aftertreatment, cooling systems, turbocharger & air systems, as well as Global product support & services, core packaging products, and custom engineering / design to order products.
As the Senior Director, Finance for the Engine Components organization, you will have the opportunity to develop essential business information and analysis as well as provide counsel to senior management for all financial planning & analysis, forecasting, legal entity, product costing, decision support, manufacturing footprint & product sourcing strategies.
This role must work across highly diverse and global teams to deliver insights to drive the business forward. This position has the opportunity to collaborate with senior level management on the business strategy and future direction of the facilities. This position will have direct line reporting to the Large Power Systems Division CFO and dotted line reporting to the vice-president and general manager of engine components and the large power systems Vice-President and General Manager of systems products & services.
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Managing monthly financial planning & analysis for the engine components organization
- Leading the development of the engine components organization financial forecasts
- Providing leadership and guidance for product cost reporting & analysis; operational cost reporting & analysis; capital purchases and investment analysis including sourcing decisions
- Ensuring high integrity financial reporting through maintaining a strong control environment
- Participating in strategy development to drive improved financial and operational performance
- Developing the best team through coaching, training & development, and career planning
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an Accounting or Finance related discipline
- 10-15 years of progressively responsible job-related experience

We are currently seeking Assembly and Test Specialists. You will perform a series of routing functions to assemble machine components.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Assembling / testing, reworking and repairing machine components
Performing production based on schedule and continuously improving process efficiency
Ensuring adherence to Standard Work Sheet to achieve quality products and avoid quality issues
Participating in pre-shift Process Improvement Dialogue (PID) & Continuous Improvement (CI), raising, submitting issues and suggestions, and following up requirements from supervisor
Providing timely reports to operation supervisor or team lead on material availability and equipment downtime
Identifying specification gaps and root causes and making adjustments to meet engineering test specifications
Physical Qualifications (With or Without Accommodation)
Operate equipment including forklift, Hand Jack/pallet truck
Noise levels of 85db or greater
Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes and hoists
Lift up to 35lbs frequently
Work at multiple heights

Job Summary
The Global Finance Technology Delivery Lead will manage the EPM application technology delivery and process improvement initiatives, in partnership with Global Process Owners in Finance/Accounting division across the Caterpillar Financial Services Division. The role will function as an integrator and influencer between business needs and technology solutions. Key responsibilities will include identifying business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations, while working with internal and external teams to improve processes and implement solutions to simply/standardize/automate work. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Finance Transformation & Data Strategy, and a part of the CFO team.
Job Description
This role should be knowledgeable on a variety of accounting functions but generally have specialized areas of responsibility in account reconciliations and financial close/consolidations processes and applications that support these processes. Forecasting, planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, finance systems, master data management and data curation are also important skills for the role. Experience working with integration of on-premise transactional accounting systems with applications delivered in a SaaS/cloud model and working with cloud vendors/providers is a must have.
The role will provide guidance, support, management and leadership of the EPM Platform in the following manner:
Partner with global process leads as member of core Finance Transformation Program team, providing expertise in finance technology implementations and setting expectations for behaviors and skills needed from within finance/accounting to deliver solutions
Identify skills/resources and processes needed to build out finance technology support function for EPM platform
Work closely with 3rd party system integrators/implementers on delivery of solution
Conduct interview and identify talent needed (internal or external)
Work with internal IS teams supporting/maintaining ERP applications and supporting systems needed for EPM
Develop procedures for application release management and upgrade cycles released by vendor
Develop procedures for regression and end user testing needed
Manage software vendor relationships on-going for process improvement and engagement
Use of problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, exercising mature judgement and logical thought to make decisions
Ability to simplify the complex, removing unnecessary tasks or steps that often add complexity to legacy processes
Encouraging/Influencing business to simplify and standardize processes, eliminating the need for heavy customizations or configurations, or bolt-on solutions
Required Qualifications:
4-year degree, preferably in accounting or related technology discipline plus proven record of success
10 years of accounting, finance, and/or relevant technology experience in finance/accounting areas
10 years of management experience, internal and external resources
6 months+ relevant experience implementing EPM technologies that include, but not limited to - account reconciliations, financial close/consolidations, allocations, planning, budgeting & forecasting
Experience managing/leading teams both internal and external through transformation programs that involve people, process and technology initiatives

Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for a Cleaning II position located in the Corinth, MS facility . This position will require you to load/unload parts, operate cleaning machinery and perform any required OPM (operator performed maintenance).
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused environment to clean and detail engine components
May be required to use an overhead hoist to move large components
May require loading and unloading parts from washer
May perform material handling according to production schedules
Requires the ability to identify parts and determine which programing to select based on the operation being performed

Up to $2,000 sign on bonus. Bonus amount will vary based on skills/experience. Incumbent will receive first pay out after 60 days of employment and second payout after 180 days of employment.

Create a validation strategy and activity plan for the ePowertrain system, collaboratively, with systems teams, lab teams, and global machine development groups to establish standard work. Activities should favor virtual and lab-based techniques.
Drive usage of such tools such as the Failsafe Process and Validation FMEA's to evaluate the effectiveness of the validation activity plan on critical failure modes, and direct activities to mitigate risk.
Development of electric drive component and system failure modes & effects analysis (FMEAs) with key focus on developing standard FMEAs
As validation needs become known for which there is no robust method, the validation engineer must communicate the need and lead the effort to develop a new procedure.
Creation of Proactive Reliability glidepaths

Business Translators are knowledgeable on a variety of accounting functions but generally have specialized areas of responsibility at this level. Incumbent has the ability to accomplish complex and/or technical analysis, but generally utilizes data gathered by others to render an accounting opinion or business decision. Incumbent will provide advice/recommendations to business unit managers and leaders often working on tactical and strategic business issues.
Possible specific areas of responsibility could include but are not limited to:
internal management accounting, including profit center, service center, distribution services, strategic business, integrated manufacturing, and component business unit reporting

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
In the U.S., position requires a 4-year degree, preferably in accounting plus proven record of success at entry or lower levels. Non-accounting degree requires minimum of 18 hours of college level accounting or approved Accounting certification. Outside the U.S., international equivalent of education and/or certification are typically required. All approved certifications can be found on Finance Services Division Accounting Certification website. Must demonstrate high levels of initiative, leadership, good judgment, the ability to communicate effectively, a broad understanding of accounting business processes, process improvement, and have a comprehensive knowledge of Caterpillar business, products, suppliers and customers. 6-8 years of accounting experience is recommended.

Job Purpose:
To lead, coordinate and guide all activities related to Merger and Acquisition (M&A) projects, such as private or public acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, corporate alliances, and divestitures of existing Caterpillar business units. Strategic Analysis: Work with Legal and the various Business Units to provide counsel as the strategic requirements are being developed. Background/Experience:

Job Duties
Create a validation strategy and activity plan for the ePowertrain system, collaboratively, with systems teams, lab teams, and global machine development groups to establish standard work. Activities should favor virtual and lab-based techniques.
Drive usage of such tools such as the Failsafe Process and Validation FMEA's to evaluate the effectiveness of the validation activity plan on critical failure modes, and direct activities to mitigate risk.
Development of electric drive component and system failure modes & effects analysis (FMEAs) with key focus on developing standard FMEAs
As validation needs become known for which there is no robust method, the validation engineer must communicate the need and lead the effort to develop a new procedure.
Creation of Proactive Reliability glidepaths

Job Purpose:
To lead, coordinate and guide all activities related to Merger and Acquisition (M&A) projects, such as private or public acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, corporate alliances, and divestitures of existing Caterpillar business units. Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for an Assembly III position located in the Corinth, MS facility . This position will include engine/component assembly operations with moderate levels of complexity, scope of work and/or variation.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused team environment to perform various assembly processes.
Knowledge of and adherence to contamination control guidelines,
Will require print reading skills and quality checks, as defined by standard work.
Will use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, gages, hoists, presses, and other tools as necessary.
Will be required to follow production schedules
Will be required to utilize various computer systems including MES, BIQ, Pinpoint and Epix to reference work instructions, prints and perform data entry
May require utilizing overhead cranes/hoists, and/or electric pallet jack to move parts in and out of area.
Operator will be required to complete Caterpillar Basic Assembly Training.
All operators will adhere to Built in Safety guidelines.
Operator should have attention to detail and be self-motivated.
Candidate will work in an environment without close supervision.
Cross training in other positions within Salary Grade 4 may be required based upon basic qualifications and physical requirements being met. Those position could include: Assembly 1, 2; Cleaning 1, 2, 3, 4; Disassembly 1, 2; Machining 1, 2, 3; Logistics 1, 2; and Quality 1, 2
Basic Qualifications:
Basic computer experience (ability to read standard work documents and enter data)
Required to read/write and interpret documents.
Experience with basic tooling (hand tools, air tools, pneumatic tools, etc)
2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience
Top Candidates will also have:
Experience as an engine mechanic
Engine or engine component assembly experience
Physical Requirements:
Job may be physically demanding at times and must be able to handle high volume fast paced operation.
Must be able to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 25 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes.
May walk, squat and bend for intervals of 15-30 minutes
Must be able to wear proper PPE.
May be required to lift/push/pull heavy parts up to 30 lbs. multiple times per shift.
Must be able to stand for up to 10+ hours per shift.

Compensation & Benefits Offered!
Starting hourly pay rate of $17.95 (pay negotiations based on skills/experience)
This position is 2nd shift with an additional $.60 night shift premium
Work Hours: 3PM - 1AM; Monday - Thursday
Up to $2,000 sign on bonus. Bonus amount will vary based on skills/experience. Incumbent will receive first pay out after 60 days of employment and second payout after 180 days of employment.
The payout of sign on bonus will be based on acceptable performance and attendance
40-hour work weeks with potential for overtime
80 hours of vacation with an additional 24 hours of paid Personal Time Off (PTO)
