GENERAL SUMMARY
The Child Advocacy Center (CAC) Outreach Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting education and outreach initiatives with CAC staff, multidisciplinary team (MDT) partners, and other CAC stakeholders. Reports to the Director of Program Evaluation and Grant Development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Builds and maintains relationships with civilian and military multidisciplinary team partners to increase access to, and participation in, prevention, forensic, intervention, and treatment services for children and adolescents who have experienced child traumatic stress and their families.
Conducts education and outreach with community providers and stakeholders on trauma-informed care, CAC services, trauma screening and referral procedures, evidence-based practices, and other topics as needed.
Collaborates with program leadership to develop and implement comprehensive outreach plan, including identifying and developing outreach and/or education initiatives and supporting the onboarding of new MDT partners and CAC staff and volunteers.
Coordinates and collaborates to support consistent CAC-branded education and outreach efforts across CAC teams.
May serve as the Hampton Roads Trauma-Informed Care Network (HRTICN) Coordinator in support of HRTICN education and outreach activities in collaboration with the CAC Executive Director.
Engages in continuous quality improvement initiatives and evaluation of implemented approaches related to education and outreach activities, including data collection and management of tracking systems.
Participates in grant-specific and/or grant-required collaborative activities and engage in sustainability activities.
Maintains professional standards of practice by demonstrating responsibility/accountability for professional growth and development related to knowledge and skill competence, including incorporation of supervisor feedback.

LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in public health/administration, marketing, education, psychology, social work, human services, or other related field required.
Experience in group facilitation, public speaking, collaboration, and training/education, and/or experience conducting community trainings, coordinating trainings, and facilitating meetings preferred.
Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Leadership and interpersonal skills necessary to promote communication and relationship building with leadership and community partners.
Commitment to best practice in outreach and education.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite and Virtual platforms (e.g. Cisco Web-ex and Zoom).
Advanced project management and organizational skills preferred.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the stakeholders and program. Charismatic and engaging interaction style preferred.
Previous experience with Child Advocacy Center services, collective impact initiatives, and/or trauma-informed care a plus.
Must possess a valid Virginia driver's license and be able to meet the insurance requirements of the hospital, if required by position.
Position may involve evening hours on occasion.

GENERAL SUMMARY The Clinical Care Access Coordinator is responsible for facilitating transitions of care, assessing patient needs, expediting utilization requests, connecting patients with CHKD and community resources, and supporting timely patient transitions to appropriate levels of care. Clinical Care Access Coordinators operate as part of a continuum of care to ensure patient and family access when transitioning levels of care. This position reports to the Practice Manager - Partial Hospitalization Program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Assesses and coordinates care based upon patient need and provider recommendations. - Assesses patient presentation, triage biopsychosocial needs, and evaluates medical necessity criteria for identified programs. - Coordinates with family and providers prior to program enrollment, to assess need, provide resources, schedule assessments, and facilitate utilization review. - Provides responsive collaboration with providers, families, and managed care utilization review staff as needed. - Provides feedback to treatment team regarding access and barriers to resources. - Participates in team meetings and supervision. - Collaborates and maintains working relationship with referral sources, physician partners and managed care staff. - Consistently meets documentation standards for quality and timeliness. Maintains confidentiality of patients/families medical information in accordance with department and hospital policies. Adheres to established productivity measures. - Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Distributes finalized reports to referral sources and contributes to clinical staff meetings from a maltreatment perspective.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Professional knowledge of area of responsibility in order to direct planning and implementation of individualized service plan for eligible children with special health care needs at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in a related healthcare field.
Approximately two to three years of progressively more responsible related work experience.
Must be able to plan, manage and establish a professional working environment within areas of responsibility.
Must possess the ability to identify problems and implement solutions for operational and organizational issues.
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with other professionals.
Competence in use of personal computers, word processing, spreadsheets and database software.

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Medical Assistant is a multi-skilled individual that works in a healthcare setting to support the non-clinical and clinical functions of the service area. Functions under the direction and continuous supervision of a licensed healthcare provider (MD, NP, RN, LPN) during performance of uncomplicated clinical services and tasks. Reports to department management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides safe and effective delivery of uncomplicated clinical services and tasks under the direction and continuous supervision of a licensed health care provider.
Provides appropriate clinical and non-clinical information to facilitate visit process.
Maintains sterility and cleanliness of the environment.
Maintains supplies, equipment and instruments.
Supports and performs clerical functions as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Current registration/certification as a Medical Assistant preferred, or military medical experience with MA certification/registration required.
Current CPR certification required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an approved school for Medical Assistants (MOA, MAA, MA).
One to two years of experience in a related healthcare field preferred.
Must provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Expected to work in a patient care environment with minimal exposure to environmental hazards such as, but not limited to, excessive noise, dust, or extremes in temperatures. Exposure to communicable diseases and moderately adverse working conditions due to the need to perform certain patient care activities can be expected.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Under direct departmental supervision of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Manager, CLS Supervisor, Lead CLS or Charge CLS. Follows established policies and procedures, assists staff, management, physicians, patients/families and visitors by performing various duties including, but not limited to, pediatric/adult phlebotomy, specimen receiving and processing, collecting nasal pharyngeal (NP) samples, waived laboratory testing, clerical/office functions, computer functions and reception/information functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.
LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) certification in Phlebotomy preferred.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Approximately three to six months experience in a Laboratory setting is necessary in order to gain an understanding of departmental policies and procedures.
Must possess knowledge of Medical Terminology and have proven phlebotomy skills.
Must possess basic computer knowledge for the registration of patient demographics, test order entry and result retrieval.
Must demonstrate interpersonal skills required to successfully perform as a team member in a constantly changing environment.
Must demonstrate skills necessary to effectively communicate clinical data to physicians and other health care providers.
