Overview

FTI is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager position. This position will Coordinate all logistics elements (e.g., spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning. The senior logistics manager will ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the B-2 Program Office's needs.

This person will support the B-2 Division (AFLCMC/WBZ) Directorate as a Senior Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will coordinate all logistics elements (e.g., spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, provisioning, etc.) to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the B-2 Program Office's needs.

  • The candidate will be a key participant in developing long term weapon system supportability approaches that further Government acquisition strategy goals and objectives.

  • The candidate will obtain needed logistics resources and participates in site surveys and program reviews. Performs analyses of sustainment or related Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and recommend suitable replacements.

  • The candidate will manage product support strategy execution and development throughout the test phase. The candidate will develop closure plans for problems discovered during flight test, track technical order maturity, collect redlines, schedule reviews and track progress, track system failures and repairs; and change TOs as necessary/appropriate.

  • The candidate will perform materiel solution analyses leading up to design reviews. The candidate will produce and supports development of draft documentation and presentation materials as requested or necessitated by program to include:

  • Item Unique Identification (IUID) Plans

  • Demilitarization Plans

  • Maintenance Strategy

  • RMP

  • Acquisition Strategy Panel briefings

  • Milestone support documentation

  • Integrated Logistics Support Plans,

Education/Qualifications
