Work on a unit helping people restore their lives! You will be responsible for organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation while working with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, therapist, and physicians. As an RN in the Inpatient Rehab setting you will work with patients who have suffered spinal cord injuries, strokes, traumatic brain injuries as well as others who are unable to return home. You will delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. You will contribute to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. *

This position greets customers and facilitates the patient registration process in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. Interviews and obtains demographic and financial information from patients or their representatives through face-to-face and virtual interactions to provide Essentia Health with the documents and data necessary to ensure appropriate care and compliant, accurate patient registration and billing. This position serves as liaisons between patients and Virtual Patient Registration Representatives and Patient Schedulers. They must be able to complete patient checkout, schedule follow-up appointments per the physician's order, and provide patients with cost estimates and itineraries for their upcoming appointments. This position assists with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of selected technical aspects of patient care under direct supervision of the Charge RN, Assistant Head Nurse, Nurse Manager and/or the Director, to meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies as well as meeting the goals and mission of the department.
