Job Description

Overview

To research, evaluate, design, test, implement, and maintain HR cloud systems and product solutions, applying rapid, innovative knowledge of cloud principles. Assist with planning, designing, developing, and testing cloud software systems/applications, and analyzing new capabilities and functionality for improving cloud adoption and modeling to find rapid product insights and business solutions. To analyze business needs to develop and implement solutions that leverage systems and processes with a considerable degree of latitude. Works with the business to understand their needs, related to information technology and enhance business process by promoting new functionality. Using advanced knowledge of the organization's technology infrastructure and specific software applications assist the business to implement strategic vision through technology. Considered a stakeholder/contributor on complex systems projects and project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategy, subject matter business/technical expertise and solution development for HR Cloud applications and lead the day-to-day production support activities of Oracle Cloud HCM workstreams i.e. Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence, Recruiting, Learn, Talent and Performance Management

  • Align the product short/long term roadmap and features with Oracle's new release cycles, business enhancements and production break-fix solutions

  • Identifies any enabler capabilities and features and remove architectural gaps and impediments

  • Support the implementation, integration and on-going support of Human Capital Management system (Oracle HCM Cloud Platforms) to assure stability and performance of the products and platforms across production and nonproduction environments

  • Document new system components, or modifications to existing components

  • Perform technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems

  • Proactively recognize potential operation issues and risks, providing timely insights and suggestions in mitigation strategies. Proactively capture and ensure alignment of daily operational performance metrics, ensuring end-to-end visibility on the application health

  • Leverage internal and external resources/tools to solutions, resolve issues, and ensure system best practices are utilized in system architecture and design

  • Coordinate integration of solutions with existing applications; identify and resolve existing conflicts to ensure compatibility. Document new systems components or modifications to existing components

  • Coach and mentor team members in carrying out day-to-day production support activities. Provide configuration assistance to developers/systems analysts. Serve as resource for the resolution of complex and/or unique problems

  • Proactively work with internal delivery teams to get to the root cause of data processing or other systems issues. Ensure that deviations from standard processes and routines are identified, captured documented and seen through to resolution as defined by standard tools and processes

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Attends and provides inputs for high level estimates and identify dependencies to enable effective monthly rolling planning, with dependencies that cover twelve weeks of the feature backlog

  • Manage and oversee end to end SDLC process from requirement intake, design, build, testing and deployment

  • Serves as change agents that combines their technical knowledge of Agile principles with an intrinsic motivation to improve the company's software and systems development processes

  • Provide expert consulting and support services to internal customers; perform as a Trusted Advisor

  • Interact with customers to identify and document functional requirements including descriptions of business functions, input and output descriptions, procedural flows, data elements, performance criteria, and security and control requirements

  • Clearly presents status and issues in variety of oral and written formats, and leads product meetings

Qualifications

  • Advanced Oracle Cloud Fusion systems expertise in Benefits, Core HR, Compensation, Recruiting, and Learn

  • Experience with Oracle Visual Builder Studio and Workflow

  • Experience with core HCM product vendor integrations

  • Experience working with HR SaaS and PaaS products

  • Experience working with 834 format files

  • Advanced skill supporting cloud enabled HR enterprise solutions

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Drive continuous transformation of processes and services

  • Expertise in application maintenance, user management, and managing support incidents

  • Significant experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues

Qualifications

  • Experience that demonstrates strong skills in researching and analyzing complex laws and regulations, staff commentaries, legal opinions, court decisions and other documentation and the analysis of operations to determine and ensure compliance.

  • Demonstrated highly effective interpersonal skills for working closely with internal organizational units and for effective representation of organizational positions on issues with external parties and groups.

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Department of Navy operational and support requirements to understand and address the impact of public policy issues and compliance on the field of membership.

  • Thorough knowledge of the current and future challenges facing the credit union movement.

  • Certification as a credit union compliance professional by a widely recognized certification authority

  • Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, management, operations analysis, legal studies, or related field.
