Job Description :

The Sr. Specialist, Software Configuration Management is a critical specialty engineering support role that performs software configuration management (SWCM) functions to establish and oversee consistency of product performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information. The primary goal of this role is to contribute and support at a high level of configuration managment for maintenance and integrity of system and software documentation, artifacts, baselines, media records, and associated configuration information using established configuration processes and controls. This role also provides on-demand support to various engineering and program management teams as a subject matter expert for analyses, consultations, special topic discussions, tools support, DevOps support, and other tasking as required.

Essential Functions:

  • Interface with multiple disciplines and levels of management regularly to ensure adequate control and traceability of all software products and security compliance

  • Responsible for meeting software configuration management technical, schedule and cost objectives on assigned programs and oversee delivery of software media

  • Acts as a liaison between management and other functional groups to resolve issues regarding software configuration processes and records.

  • Participate with JIRA scrum board on team ticketing system

  • Administer existing software configuration management toolsets, to include Agile Product Data Management (PDM), Rational ClearQuest, Windchill, JIRA, and others.

  • Implement established software configuration management documentation, processes, training and principles in an Agile development environment (JIRA, Confluence, Artifactory, Bitbucket and others).

  • Perform audits to verify compliance with contract requirements

  • Participate with software configuration control boards as needed, including creation of agendas, facilitation of meetings and follow up of action items

  • Perform problem solving and provide creative solutions, drawing from prior experience and in-depth analysis of issues

  • Contribute and facilitate suggestions for improvement or enhancements to systems and processes to improve performance of job area

  • May provide other functional support as assigned to assist in the execution of various engineering and program management activities.

  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance is required.

  • Requires higher level technical knowledge in the functional job area including analytical and troubleshooting skills typically obtained through advanced education in a technical field and/or prior experience in an relevant engineering or technical support role such as: Configuration Manager (CM), Data Manager (DM), Quality Assurance Technician (QA/QE/QC), document controller, design drafter, technical writer, program operations analyst, systems support engineer, software engineer, integration and test engineer, specialty engineer, or similar.

  • Requires experience providing a high level of customer service and support to multiple internal customers, external customers, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

  • Requires experience using version control tools such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Agile PDM, JIRA, Artifactory, Bitbucket, ClearCase, Subversion, Confluence, Windchill or similar.

  • Willingness to work overtime and/or outside of normal business hours as needed to meet critical deadlines and business requirements.

  • Experience in an IT, IS, Software Engineering, Software Development, Software Engineering, Systems Adminstration, Cyber Security or Configuration Management or similar role

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of Configuration Management principles as they apply to Software

  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle

  • Experience with Build Automation tools (e.g., Jenkins)

  • Experience in a Linux OS environment (e.g. RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS)

  • Tool Administrator experience, especially with Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)

  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, JSON, Batch, Bash)

  • Familiarity with Agile processes (e.g. Kanban, Scrum)

  • One or more relevant Configuration Management certification(s) such as CMPIC or NDIA.

  • Experience in continuous process improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma or similar.

Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Within parameters, determines routing and arrangements for shipments, considering such factors as nature of items being shipped, method of handling, size, urgency, and cost. Consults rate schedule for specific rates depending on method of shipment and/or distance shipped. Assesses most economical and efficient common or contract carrier, to transport shipments. Calculates and records storage, redelivery, and other applicable charges. May reroute urgent shipments of an urgent nature or arrange for special delivery at destination. Prepares and maintains records of products shipped and tracks shipments. Receives incoming materials, unpacks, and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications. Maintains records of received goods, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. Stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Lifts heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. upon receipt of internal certification. Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements. May perform wood shop functions such as operating power saws and nail guns in building skids and crates.

Essential Functions:

100% - Working with planning, engineering and supporting departments, provide technical guidance to interpret and implement nondestructive test requirements of developmental and production programs. Plan, coordinate and perform setups and inspections. Coordinate the training activities of other inspectors. Maintain appropriate Level II/III certification including required reliability demonstrations.

  • Review and check complex procedures, drawings, work instructions and specifications to detect errors and interface with planning and/or engineering to recommend changes or revisions to improve efficiencies and methods. Identify nondestructive equipment design improvements.   • Prepare detailed reports for inspections performed showing defect(s) revealed by the test as applicable. For all tests, accept or reject material based on interpretation of applicable standards. Determine root cause(s) and work with others to establish effective corrective action to resolve. Job Description

This opportunity can be located at our Huntsville, AL; Camden, AR; West Palm Beach, FL; Canoga Park, CA or Stennis, MS site.

The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization. Additionally, this person should be committed to transforming data into readable, goal-oriented reports that drive innovation and growth.

Essential Functions:

  • Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools within the defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution

  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources

  • Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across datasets

  • Develop standard documentation for database structures to enable future growth of data uses including predictive maintenance and AI.

  • Work closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers

  • Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity

  • Conducts user training as necessary.

  • May design, analyze and maintain computer programs.

  • May review and approve the work of lower level analysts.

  • May make assignments and provide direction to less senior employees and support personnel.

    Qualifications

    Requires a Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, computer science, economics, statistics or an appropriate discipline and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

    - Three or more years of experience mining data as a data analyst

    - Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization

    - Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations

    - Strong SQL skills with aptitude for learning other analytics tools and language

    Preferred skills and qualifications

    - Experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques

    - Experience with Business Intelligence, or other database analytics, applications

    - Strong programming experience with frameworks, including XML, JavaScript, and ETL

    - Practical experience in statistical analysis through the use of statistical packages, including Excel, SPSS and SAS

    - Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $76,500.00 - $142,500.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Job Description:

Responsible for performing a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive manufacturing assembly and test operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for cables and harnesses. Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and assists in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.

Essential Functions:

  • Completes circuit card assembly operations on various electronic products, while ensuring compliance with required performance specifications

  • Sets up a variety of manufacturing apparatus, and completes assembly following methods, procedures, standards, and operations sequences

  • Ability to work from both oral and written instructions, engineering drawings, blueprints, supporting surface mount and thru-hole circuit cards and their applicable components

  • Documents assembly data and results, provides documentation of failed products

  • Works to achieve operational targets within the functional area

  • Able to work in both team and individual contributor roles, with minimal supervision

  • Resource to other employees for various operations within the circuit card assembly processes, having multiple area of manufacturing expertise

  • Individual must be able to work under a microscope for long periods of time

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects targeting waste affecting product quality, cost, and schedule or other items of value to the business.

  • Maintain professional standards of performance, demeanor, and judgment at all times as detailed in company policy and procedure

  • First shift work schedule

  • Support OT (nights, weekends, extended hours) as needed to meet schedule requirements and business needs

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Management

    Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience, or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft suite and personal computing devices

  • Proficient in multiple electronics manufacturing processes, including soldering, hand tools, and ESD practices

  • Experience in working with hardware assembly, coating, potting, and bonding materials
