Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

• Process billing information and collect payments when required

• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

• Maintain patient and specimen information logs

• Provide superior customer service to all patients

• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

• Travel to additional sites when needed

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred

• 1 year of Previous experience as a phlebotomist

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

About the Team:

The Research & Development team designs and develops new molecular assays, evaluates novel technologies, provides technical expertise to other departments, validates assays for clinical regulatory submissions and pursues research questions relevant to clinical diagnostic testing. We work collaboratively with other Labcorp departments and R&D scientists as well as with biotech companies and academic institutions to build new products and enhance current and future clinical testing.

. Work under the guidance of a senior scientist on a project pertinent to clinical molecular testing

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Additional days and hours may be required depending on business needs.

Pay: $19 - $23 per hour

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens

• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information

• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance

• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues

• Replenish test bench supplies as needed

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent w/1-2 years of experience

• Previous medical/lab or production experience preferred

• Basic computer knowledge and ability to pass a data entry test

• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet established turn-around times

• Strong attention to detail

Reporting to our Senior Manager - Indirect Tax, this role will be responsible for administration and coordination of indirect tax functions across a complex, multi-entity organization. • Assist with indirect tax research and data analysis involving audits and/or administrative appeals

Education

• Knowledge of indirect tax software such as Vertex and Avalara - including implementing, maintaining, and interfacing with other systems

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products - especially Excel, using vlookups or other formulas to analyze and manipulate data

• Knowledge of accounting systems - Peoplesoft and Oracle preferred

• Experience using tax research tools, Sharepoint, and Alteryx a plus

• Experience assisting with voluntary disclosure agreements, audit defense, and notice responses

• Proven ability to research, understand, and apply indirect tax regulations, interpretations, court cases, etc. to various fact patterns

• Ability and willingness to embrace change

The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing sample sorting and processing in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 10:30pm to 7:00am, Rotating weekends and holidays, Daily overtime as needed.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Introduce and prepare biological specimens to the laboratory to ensure accurate processing

• Open specimens and pour off into secondary containers to prepare for analysis and testing

• Verify patient demographic information matches the test requisition form submitted

• Data entry of patient information into the computer system for tracking purposes

• Meet key production metrics and quality measures to ensure timely and accurate results

• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas

• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities when required

• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples

• Resolve and document any problem specimens Handle and dispose of medical and chemical waste

• Comply with applicable environmental health and safety policies and procedures

• Operate automated instrumentation under supervision if necessary

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• No relevant experience is required

• Previous medical or production experience is preferred

• Proficient computer and typing skills

• Must pass standardized color vision test

• Comfortable handling human biological specimens including blood, urine and tissue samples

• Ability to lift up to 30lbs, work in protective equipment and sit/stand for long periods of time

• Strong eye hand coordination in order to accurately identify specimens by touch and sight

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

• High level of attention to detail with the ability to problem solve

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

• Ability to work overtime when needed

LabCorp seeking a Courier to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, additional days or hours may be required

Training for this position will take place in Anchorage, AK for the first five days of employment 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day.

Location: Wasilla, AK

• Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups

• Complete daily pick-up schedule in a timely manner

• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift

• Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner

• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws

• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up

• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed

• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed

Requirements:

• Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Previous driver/courier experience is preferred

• Customer service experience is a plus

• Very punctual with strong time management skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to problem solve customer issues

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
