Lockheed Martin Supply Chain (LMSC) Enterprise Operations is seeking a Summer 2025 Supply Chain Procurement Intern to join our creative team of Central Procurement professionals, supporting Aeronautics.

In this role, you will:

- Support the development and execution of acquisition strategy

- Interface with industry suppliers and evaluate supplier proposals using financial analysis techniques

- Develop and populate bill of materials

- Place and administer purchase orders

- Manage projects to ensure on-time delivery of materials for critical defense efforts

- Learn industry systems and tools

- Work directly with a mentor

- Build a professional network through social events and activities

This is a fully remote role and does not require being physically located at a specific Lockheed Martin facility. The candidate must be able to commit to working 40 hours per week during the summer internship term.

The intern hired for this position should expect to learn all facets of Supply Chain, and will leave with a large network, invaluable skills, and significant industry knowledge.

Basic Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field, with at least one semester remaining after the internship

- Applicant should have a strong desire to become a Supply Chain professional

- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information in a clear and concise manner

- U.S. citizenship is required due to system access.

o Develops negotiation strategies and concludes both supplier and prime negotiations to achieve company profit objectives and customer affordability goals.

o Represents organization as a Sub-contacts analysis supporting prime negotiations on contracts or projects.

o Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

o Exerts influence on the overall proposal settlements which support Supply Chain objectives and long-range goals of the organization.

o Prevents erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives, which would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.

o Plan and participate in training of Price/Cost Analysis practices.

o This candidate will ensure sound subcontractor proposals, evaluate direct/indirect costs, and recommend acceptable labor and indirect rates.

o The audit covers financial statement reviews, accurate current cost statements, reasonable projections, and compliance with FAR 31.2, Cost Accounting Standards, GAAP, and DCAA Guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

The Work

As the C2BMC Warfighter Lead, you will lead a team of four warfighter C2BMC Liaison Officers (LNOs) located at the COCOMs and other locations. Lead the C2BMC subject matter experts (SME): Planner Support Cell, Training and Link 16 areas. Serve as the primary interface with MDA/BCWW on all warfighter related issues, provide weekly warfighter report highlighting potential issues/actions to inform MDA leadership, chair weekly update/status meeting with BCWW and keep the global C2BMC warfighter community aware of C2BMC issues through issuing C-Notes and meetings. In addition, will act as the SME lead for/interface with NORTHCOM, CMSFS and JFCC-IMD for all C2BMC activities. Provide warfighter support to STRATCOM when directed by MDA/BCWW. Assist in providing warfighter requests for C2BMC capability by coordinating approval process, submitting SMR, brief BCWW of progress and work directly with warfighter to ensure capability is delivered. Will work with NORTHCOM to define roles, missions, ops concepts and C2BMC system requirements. You will be the Full Stack Senior Manager for the Ground Systems team within Combat Systems in Engineering and Technology at Aeronautics.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Full Stack Senior Manager you will coordinate with the Program Management Office and Control Account Managers (CAM), and other engineering disciplines within Ground Systems to ensure that program requirements and deliverables are met. The Senior manager will lead a team of engineers skilled in DevSecOps methodologies, tools, and technologies. Your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring operational best practices by working closely with the team and other disciplines

- Leading a team responsible for remaining cutting edge in DevSecOps methodologies, tools and process

- Strategically planning and driving automation technologies and tools across the software development lifecycle from requirements to development to testing and operations

- Serve as a resource and mentor for a team of DevSecOps first line leaders

- Responsible for enhancing and maintaining telemetry in support of monitoring tool suites throughout code and infrastructure

- Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development

- Contribute to or lead cost estimating efforts with demanding schedules, including both competitive proposals and on-contract growth ECPs and ROMs

- Employing Agile development principles and techniques while providing guidance to the design, development, documentation, and testing of a large, complex, logistics software product

- Leader duties may include organizational breakdown structure manager, escalation and removal of team impediments and management of risk

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related discipline

A Supplier Quality Field Representative for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control collaborates with internal quality, engineering and manufacturing functions and suppliers to ensure quality standards and product requirements are met. Ensures supplier contract requirements are implemented and verified.

- Conducting supplier risk and capability assessments and monitoring supplier performance.

- Providing internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective/preventive actions related to supplier discrepancies.

Come be a part of the THAAD Post Production Team, which is one of the most advanced missile defense systems in the world and is ready to take on the challenge. As a Field Engineer, supporting THAAD Postproduction as a member of the THAAD Logistics Operations Center (TLOC) team, you'll serve as the TLOC representative for all Non-Standard THAAD support items. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of critical Missile Handling Equipment (MHE) to support tactical deployments of THAAD Interceptors. Additional duties include development of Modification Work Order (MWO) instructions, to include travelling to field sites for application of MWO hardware and software updates on tactical hardware, authoring of Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) Technical Bulletins, performing As-Maintained configuration audits, as well as other support as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-Previous experience in sustainment and Logistics with THAAD or other Army Air and Missile Defense Programs

-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Self-motivated

Desired Skills:

-Security+ certification or the ability to earn within 12 months of hire date

-An active U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.

-A valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel.

-Previous experience executing maintenance management requirements in a military environment (US Army, foreign military sales, or similar).

-Previous experience working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
