THE WORK

In this important role, the Cyber Software Engineer Senior Staff is responsible for:

Designing and developing a modernized version of a legacy application performing data translation and forwarding for a key mission capability. The redesigned application will be part of the program's modernized system architecture and be deployed to multiple operational locations. Tier 3 operational support will be required for legacy through transition and new application operations.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a Qualified Engineering Field with 14 years or more of professional SWE experience.

Experience with the following:

- Developing/refactoring applications in C++ and Python

- Socket-based streaming applications and data formats

- Containerizing applications with Docker

- Kubernetes configuration and Helm chart development

The ideal candidate is a designer with recent AutoCAD experience in the development of drawings for warship design. Experience with the FREEDOM Variant of the Littoral Combat ship is a plus, as it experience with Ship Constructor 3D Modeling.

The Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) In-Service Ship Design (ISSD) Ship Repair Designer will be a subject matter expert (SME) in a major ship building discipline such as piping/mechanical, hull/structure, or electrical and have experience across the disciplines. They will provide drafting support for the marine engineering and design work in support the maintenance and modernization of the LCS Class. This work will include creating and maintaining AutoCAD drawings to support design specifications and documentation requirements of ship maintenance, modernization, and repair. The Draftsman will be expected to participate in planning projects and translate the engineer's direction into electronic drawings and coordinate with all stakeholders affected by the design. Travel will be required to a ship's location for planning and execution support (estimated 15 - 30%). This person shall support the ISSD organization in the following manner:

1. Create and modify AutoCAD drawings;

2. Assist in updating and maintaining released documents;

3. Perform required product updates;

4. Maintain accurate product documentation and work instructions

5. Provides technical support;

6. Manage database information;

7. Work alternate non-standard/overtime hours and on-call service as required.

8. Conducts ship-checks of designs and translate into design products.

- Performing Board design activities for AEW programs and IRAD projects, these designs are dense, high-speed, multi-layer boards

You will design, develop, test and support new Digital Receiver products in support of the Airborne Electronic Warfare (AEW) Business and larger Spectrum Convergence Organization.

This includes supporting architectural studies and requirements, preliminary and detailed design efforts on advanced state-of-the-art synthesizers, receivers, transmitters and direct conversion RFSoC's for use on miniaturized EW applications.

As the Subcontract Management, Sr. Staff, you will be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification, and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD, and international programs. Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within the established authority. Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production, and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types. Basic Qualifications:

To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

The Tb&S (Testbed and Simulation) Product Line is seeking a highly motivated ASIC & Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) Design Engineer with a strong interest in hardware design, test and software scripting. This position will support full project life cycles of testbed products, including Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWILs) testbeds.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Lead FPGA architecture, standards, development and review processes

- Developing FPGA cores and images

o Including high speed interfaces (SerDes, Gigabit Ethernet, etc)

- Create FPGA test scripts using scripting languages and troubleshoot hardware issues

- Work with software teams to integrate FPGA with driver and simulation software

- System-level understanding of our simulation products

- Reviewing Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and developing Concept of Operations (ConOps)

- Understanding TB&S testbed architecture and developing signal channelization lists, wire diagrams, and top level designs

- Troubleshooting design equipment

- Collaboration across the different Tb&S teams and program teams

THE WORK

In this role you will:

- Develop and release Diagnostics SW across multiple aircraft configurations and part numbers.

- Design diagnostics software and maintenance procedures for new or updated subsystems and avionics boxes, ensuring compatibility across various aircraft configurations and system software versions.

- Provide support for diagnostics SW regression testing, diagnostics release testing, and Problem Trouble Report (PTR) testing.

- Generate and maintain relevant documentation, including diagnostics software requirements, design specifications, processes, and drawings for different programs and aircraft configurations.

- Coordinate PTR status with the Diagnostics lead and team members, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

- Allocate and document Diagnostics requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

- Conduct design analysis, system modeling, and testing, applying system engineering principles with a focus on Reliability and Maintainability (R&M), systems diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
