Join Serco in support of our Defense Service sector and Systems Integration and Installation Business Unit as a Project Manager in San Diego, CA within the Tactical Afloat Networks Program Office (PMW 160).

This hybrid role will support the Tactical Networks (TACNET) Capabilities Based In Service Engineering Agent (CB-ISEA). TACNET CB-ISEA supports the sustainment and modernization of Automated Digital Network System (ADNS), Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES), Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS), Integration Shipboard Networking System (ISNS), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Networks as well as integration and support of additional Program of Record and Non-Program or Record systems.

Finance plays an important role in the overall success of the TACNET assisting with project management functions.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a member of the Financial Analyst team analyzing financial data and providing forecasting support.

  • Task order processing and management, including GovWin and Gate submissions.

  • Prepare reports and projections based off financial data.

  • Monitor project financial execution to achieve maximum effectiveness for the TACNET.

  • Demonstrate proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Power Point, Project, Word) with basic programming abilities preferred.

  • This is a non-supervisory position.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other program management / financial disciplines.

  • 5 years of relevant experience with general accounting and other financial disciplines.

  • Experience with creating financial models for management decisions.

  • Experience with monitoring variances, identification of trends and development of recommendations for financial management decisions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills - able to interact with key stakeholders and leadership.

  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications with significant weight and preference given to candidates with the ability to build and automate workflows in Visual Basic or .NET experience.

Additional desired skills and experience:

  • Preferred candidates with ability to conduct intermediate analysis and create reports utilizing computer program tools and languages such as MATLAB, R, Python or C/C++.

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance is preferred.

  • Experience and understanding with C4I programs, Navy commands, NAVWAR or NWIC command preferred.

  • Understanding and ability to utilize front end analysis tools such as Excel & Power BI is preferred.

Serco is seeking a motivated General Clerk to join the team in Millington, TN!

Serco supports the Navy Personnel Command (NPC) by recruiting the best quality men and women from the diverse population of our country. Our team takes care of our Nation's Sailors (Active, Reserve and Retired) by building and maintaining their Official Military Personnel Files (OMPF). These files are critical to a Sailor's promotions, benefits, and awards.

The General Clerk will support offices within Navy Personnel Command (NPC) PERS-3 by maintaining and providing complete and accurate personnel records and records-related information to authorized users throughout the Navy and other federal agencies. This position is responsible for complete and accurate document creation, filing, duplication, and routing, as assigned by the supervisor. Daily support includes scanning documents using high-speed scanners, flatbed scanners, and/or microfiche readers/scanners to include non-standard size documents such as photos, college transcripts, and/or microfiche in accordance with the SOP. This work involves handling proper handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

In this role, you will receive basic training and be a part of a team which:

  • Accepts correspondence from Fleet and support commands from around the country

  • Prepares, Validates and Verifies documents for completeness, accuracy and suitability. Then scans them for entry into a Sailor's OMPF

  • Follows strict guidelines in protecting the Sailor's Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

The hourly pay rate for this position is $15.00 plus an additional $4.23/hr for Health and Welfare (H&W)

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

  • 3 years of experience in office management or clerical support

  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds

  • High proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office 2010 suite of software applications to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft SharePoint Workspace

Serco-NA is actively seeking a motivated individual to provide supervisory Help Desk support to end users on a variety of issues, be familiar with help desk concepts, practices, and procedures. In this role, you will work with our dynamic NexGen team to support help desk activities for the Air Force end users. You will play a critical role in ensuring the Civil Engineering community has excellent customer support for the TRIRIGA application across more than 200 bases worldwide.

This position is a Hybrid Shift (2pm cst - 11pm cst)

Tuesday and Wednesday this position will work in a Serco office located in Montgomery Alabama, Sunday, Monday, and Thursday this position works remote

This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain/transfer your Secret clearance

In this role, you will:

  • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.

JOIN OUR TEAM to assist and prepare over 200,000 Servicemen and women who separate annually from the United States Military begin a new life chapter as a civilian. Many of those who separate from the military have transition plans while others find becoming a civilian a daunting task. The Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) program requires contractor services to support these transitioning Servicemen and women through its highly successful Transition Assistance Program (TAP) that is offered world-wide to conduct job assistance workshops, employment counseling, apprenticeship program placements and employer outreach.

In this role, you will:

  • Teaching and/or instructing Military personnel transition to civilian professional and vocational occupations.

  • Guide the transitioning Military Servicemembers in identifying goals while also assisting them with recognizing any employment or education gaps.

  • Organize and able to manage an office.

  • Providing transitioning Servicemembers (Active, Reserve, National Guard), family members, and Veterans a comprehensive understanding of preparing for civilian employment, job searching, job application processes, networking, technical training opportunities, credentialing, and assistance in preparing for civilian employment and participation in technical programs and schools; and, who can conduct large group instruction and provide counseling on the job search process.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A High School Diploma and 3+ years of experience as a professional trainer or facilitator.

  • OR an Associate's degree.

  • Experience which demonstrates understanding of private and public sector employment processes.

  • Experience as a classroom instructor.

  • Must be knowledgeable of the workplace, jobs, and requirement for entry into those jobs.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to provide training to groups with up to 50 participants

  • Proficient in MS Windows and Office.

  • The ability to communicate effectively with Military clients, be comfortable instructing and speaking in front of a group, be observant of others, possess the ability to engage an audience, and respond to inquiries independently.

  • Must be able to travel as requested.

  • May require extended hours, including weekdays, weekends, and some holidays, and be willing to perform administrative functions for the office.

  • Must have excellent time management skills, able to work independently, and able to respond to inquiries.

The Network Cabling Technician will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems and supports structured cabling installations by performing simple routine tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures. Work is checked in progress or on completion.

In this role you will perform the following tasks:

  • Contribute to all phases of the infrastructure installation or upgrade

  • Pulling, dressing, and terminating Copper and Fiber Optic cabling

  • Installation of racks, cable conveyance, and all peripheral equipment

  • Rack and Stacking of equipment in racks

  • Testing and recording of all cables

  • Installation of Audio Visual (AV) systems equipment and cabling

Qualifications

JOIN OUR TEAM to assist and prepare over 200,000 Servicemen and women who separate annually from the United States Military begin a new life chapter as a civilian. Many of those who separate from the military have transition plans while others find becoming a civilian a daunting task. The Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) program requires contractor services to support these transitioning Servicemen and women through its highly successful Transition Assistance Program (TAP) that is offered world-wide to conduct job assistance workshops, employment counseling, apprenticeship program placements and employer outreach.

The Employment Resource Coordinator (ERC) supports veteran, National Guard, and Reserve Service members and their spouses' civilian employment through education and support services. The ERC will support the Off-Base Transition Training (OBTT) program efforts by assisting with Memoranda of Agreements and coordination of Brick and Mortar (B/M) employment workshops at select locations other than active military installations.

In this role, you will:

  • May coordinate virtual workshops.

  • A high level of coordination in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

  • Must be able to listen to OBTT participants and assist them in identifying and prioritizing their needs.

  • Provides screening and referral services and identify and utilize a network of local, regional, and state resources for employment and employment readiness.

  • Serve as the point of contact for activities in their assigned area of responsibility for all stakeholders, including those from the Department of Veterans' Affairs, Department of Defense, Department of Labor, State Adjutant General offices, American Job Centers, DOL VETS State Directors, and more.

  • Manages supplies, instructional materials, and office equipment and prepares periodic reports.

  • Ability to work extended hours, including weekdays, weekends, and some holidays, may be required to address emerging requirements under changing and constrained timelines.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively, be comfortable instructing and speaking in front of a group, be observant of others, possess the ability to engage an audience, and respond to inquiries independently.

  • Possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently on client site and remotely.

  • Market their services using approved messages and materials within their assigned region to increase awareness of services and perform outreach to Veterans, National Guard and Reserve Members, and their Spouses. Reports to a Project Manager.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma and 5 years of experience assisting veterans, service members, and/or spouses in the workplace.

  • OR a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of employment or career counseling experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office.

This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain an Interim DoD Secret level clearance post-employment.

Our Amphibious Warfare Operation provides critical services to nearly all U.S. Navy amphibious ships and craft. You will work closely with Government and industry professionals as well as shipbuilders and other support personnel. Exposure to high noise levels, uncomfortable temperatures, heights, or other industrial safety conditions will require use of personal protective clothing and equipment.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is desired.

  • Relevant U.S. Navy or U.S. Coast Guard experience in the ILS areas of ship acquisition, construction or repair is desired. Relevant Amphibious warship ship and/or craft ILS experience is ideal.

  • Experience with CDMS, Independent Cost Estimate (ICE), CDMD-OA, and other Navy ILS related software is highly desirable.

  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act of 1990 (DAWIA) certification is desired.

Serco has a Cybersecurity Engineer opening in Huntsville, AL. This Cybersecurity Engineer will be supporting our DoD customer as an integral part of the Serco team! The mission of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is to develop and deploy a layered Missile Defense System to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends from missile attacks in all phases of flight.

Our team provides solutions for statutory and DoD requirements for Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) for the MDA. They provide IV&V for MDA's weapon systems, business systems, RDT&E environments and Defense Industrial Base partners. We work closely with the Agency's Security Control Assessors and the Authorizing Official. The team is 42 people with staff in Huntsville and Colorado Springs, CO. JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform risk assessments on packages submitted from the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)

  • Perform risk assessment activities for evaluating System Security Plans (SSP), Interim Authorization To Test (IATTs), Authorization to Operate (ATO), and Authorization to Connect (ATC)

  • Execute and document risk assessments, including interacting directly with the SCAs and the ISSMs and their Cybersecurity support staff and supporting ATO signing sessions

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance

  • High School Diploma

  • 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years of technical cybersecurity experience

  • Understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the NIST 800-53 RMF Security Control Catalog

  • Security + with CE or other qualified IAT Level II cybersecurity certification

  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
