Serco is looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior Lead, Training Specialist to join the team in our Aberdeen, MD location! Telework optional! Your experience in in Army tactical communications and military training support is needed to solve technical and policy challenges facing tactical radio communications systems for the Army's current and future forces.
Serco will support the US Army Program Executive Office: Command, Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T) and the global warfighter C5ISR support plan.You will lead a team of trainers to provide services to Project Manager Tactical Radio (PM TR), Readiness Management Division (RMD), and the constituent Product Offices with Material Fielding, Integrated Product Support, Platform Integration, New Equipment Training and Field Support services.
In this role, you will:
Serve as technical advisor/instructor/team leader applying an intensive practical knowledge of PEO C3T training devices, electronics, and networks to those who will be using and supporting such items
Lead the development of training materials and conducts classes in proper operation and maintenance procedures to PEO C3T programs and various agencies within the Department of Defense
Provide resident and on-site technical assistance and training (both platform and hands-on) in the operation and maintenance of assigned systems and associate items to gaining audits/installations in/from CONUS and OCONUS locations
Serve as the expert in training students in tasks required to test-operate, align, repair, service, and fault-isolate / troubleshoot the particular system to the lowest-replaceable units
Interpret and articulate signal analysis, schematic diagram analysis, block diagrams, and wiring diagrams
Inform students of the complete objective purpose of the lesson while maintaining motivation and interest throughout the entire classroom instruction
Instruct on the theory of operation along with Operation of the complete system to include electronics, computer programming, and analysis of malfunction reports, system trouble shooting, and repair up to depot level
Conduct training courses with a professional understanding of the principals of learning and teaching methods, and be able to demonstrate their ability to apply principles and methods
Provide responses and answers to questions/problems from the field
Identify the best approach training requirements, to include, but not limited to, hardware, software, simulations, course assessment and refreshment, assessment centers, oral examination, interviews, computer assisted and adaptive testing, behavior based assessment and performance, team and unit assessment and measurement

To be successful in this role, you must have:
An active Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience with tactical radio communications systems to include the following; SINCGARS Radio Sets to include legacy ASIP Radio Sets, AN/PRC-148(V)2 and (V)4s, AN/PRC-152s, High Frequency (HF) Radios Sets to include the AN/PRC-150 and AN/PRC-160, Legacy SATCOM Radios such as the AN/PSC-5C and the AN/PRC-117F/G, software defined radios such as the AN/PRC-154A/C, AN/PRC-155, AN/PRC-148C, AN/PRC-163, AN/PRC-158, and AN/PRC-162 and Tactical Networking Radios such as the AN/PRC-166, AN/PRC-168
Ten (10) years of training experience in planning, coordinating, and overseeing New Equipment Training and IKPT

Position Description
If you desire an opportunity to help the Navy and Marine Corps, Serco has a great opportunity for you! As a Technical Project Leader, you will be on a team that is evaluating and managing the delivery of new amphibious ships and landing craft to the fleet.
This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance post-employment.
Our team is led by a Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager, each having decades of experience working in the DoD and Shipbuilding Industry. Our Amphibious Warfare Operation provides critical services to nearly all U.S. Navy amphibious ships and craft.
Serco supports the U.S. Navy as a prime contractor providing amphibious warfare and expeditionary professional support services. In this role, you will:
Provide waterfront support assisting Technical Systems Integration (TSI) Director, Systems Integration Assistant Program Manager (APM), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Lead, Configuration Management (CM) APM, and Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) APM with technical and project management, and overall systems integration oversight for the program.
Lead and direct the work of others including providing mentorship.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Highschool or GED plus 15 years of relevant experience in technical operations management. Individuals with college degrees or technical school or military certifications, including those with less years of experience, will be considered.
Requires detailed knowledge of managing the process of identifying engineering problems, analyzing various solutions, and making recommendations that meet technical and contractual requirements, and ensuring that solutions are integrated properly.
DoD/Navy ACAT I Program experience.
Requires prior leadership and management experience.
A current DoD security clearance or be able to obtain an interim clearance after hire.
United States (U.S.) citizenship.
Ability to operate personal computers and have good knowledge and operational abilities with Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to support activities in a shipyard or naval facility. Some work may occur within an industrial field office, outdoors and/or aboard ship while the ship is undergoing construction, alteration, activation, overhaul, repair, and/or underway trials. Walking and climbing throughout the ship, to accomplish ship checks, may be required. Exposure to high noise levels, uncomfortable temperatures, heights, or other industrial safety conditions will require use of personal protective clothing and equipment.

Additional desired experience and skills:
Relevant U.S. Navy or U.S. Coast Guard experience in the areas of ship construction or ship repair is desired. Amphibious warship ship and/or craft construction or ship repair work experience is ideal.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is desired.

The Cost Analyst will provide cost estimating and analysis support to a variety of ongoing project teams as part of Serco-WBB's highly qualified interdisciplinary team of consultants. Select, coordinate, and calibrate Instrumentation, collection and data management tools, targets,& facilities
Ensure test readiness including training of test event participants re conduct of the event;equipment readiness, and security, legal, and privacy compliance arrangements
Participate in T&E WIPT and/or Integrated Test Team for coordination of data collection plans
Execute Testing and Data Collection per plan
Produce associated Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports/Briefings, Data Management Plan
Define and provide technical direction and guidance for the Level 1 tasks to the Level 0 andLevel 1 TEs assigned to the task
Recommend draft plans and reports from the Level 1 tasks for approval by the task leader
Work directly with the Government sponsor to coordinate task implementation
Maintain knowledge of current and evolving agency, national, and international standardsapplicable to the system development of interest

Eight (8) years experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

In this role you will:
Be responsible for providing technical support for all aspects of requirements development, concept development, engineering, integration and test, and performance analysis as tasked by the Lead Electrical Engineer in support of the Landing Craft Planning Yard efforts.
Support senior technical personnel and project managers within the organization in various technical activities related to system and technical product development for life cycle sustainment of LCAC, SSC, and LCU 1700.

Serco supports the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) by operating the free MAP patrol and incident management service program providing safe, quick clearance of incidents that affect traffic, including vehicle accidents and disabled vehicles. The primary purpose of the MAP program is to ensure state highways are free of obstructions and safe for the traveling public.
You will be part of a team that works closely with LADOTD, local law enforcement and other first responders daily.
In this role you will:
Monitor state highways for vehicle crashes, disabled/abandoned vehicles, debris, and lane-closing events, traffic signal malfunctions, damage to state equipment on state roadways, and general incident/congestion scenarios.
Provide roadside assistance to stranded motorists (including changing tires, giving battery jumps, providing fuel, removing debris from the travel lanes, etc.).
Work closely with police and other first responders at highway incidents.
Provide incident response, on-scene traffic control and limited first aid .
Provide Traffic Incident Management (TIM) services.
Use a two-way radio and/or smart phone to communicate and coordinate with the Traffic Management Center (TMC) staff and local Police agencies.
Observe required safety procedures to avoid injury and accidents, at all times.
Complete a combination of classroom and field training to be certified as a motorist assistance operator.
Qualifications
