To carry out the daily operations of the work center to which he/she is assigned. The Press Operator is also able to contribute to the continuous improvement of operations through his/her input and involvement.

The following accountabilities are to be performed in accordance with the spirit and philosophy contained in the document, ITW Tomco Mission Statement, and in accordance with company policies:

  1. The Press Operator is responsible for running each job to which they are assigned per the job specific instructions. These are in the operator Manual for each job. a. The Operator is responsible for knowing the changes that may affect the way he/she does his/her job. Operators can remain updated by communicating with the Operator who he/she relieves and by reading the Manufacturing Alerts which are posted on the Manufacturing Alert bulletin board and marked by unit.

  2. The Press Operator is ultimately responsible for the quality of the parts that he/she produces. a. When the operator discovers a quality issue, he/she is responsible for checking the Quality Samples to decide on the quality of the part. b. If one of the following situations occurs, the press Operator will notify the Production Supervisor or an Auditor for assistance: i. A relevant sample is not available. ii. The existing condition exceeds the maximum allowable sample. iii. The Press Operator is unable to decide based on the available samples.

  3. The press Operator is responsible for knowing current quality issues involving the product that he/she is assigned to run. This information can be gained from: a. Communication with the Operator that he/she is relieving, the Auditor, the Production Supervisor, and the Quality Engineer. b. Reading the Quality Alerts that are posted when a quality concern is discovered.

  4. The Press Operator is responsible for the tidiness of his/her work area.

  5. The Press Operator is responsible for the proper documentation of scrap on the scrap sheet. a. The Press Operator will also report excessive scrap to the Production Supervisor.

  6. The Press Operator is responsible for reporting any safety hazard or abnormal condition (i.e. equipment not functioning normally) to the Production Supervisor or Mold Technician.

  7. Responsible for ensuring product quality through established work instructions and company procedures. Press Operator Job Description

  8. Responsible for reporting non-conforming product quality to the Production Supervisor and the quality auditor.

  9. Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and OH&S standards.

  10. The Press Operator is responsible for carrying out any reasonable request by the Production Supervisor.

Minimum of high school diploma or G.E.D.

The Press Operator must be able to stand for extended periods of time as well as lift up to 25 pounds.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, follow work instructions and job training requirements. Individual works in a team environment and must possess good communication/interpretation skills, good visual skills for part inspection, basic mathematical skills, and reasoning ability. Individual must be able to stand for full manufacturing shift, have ability to complete hand assembly process. Ability to reach with arms extended and/or overhead, excellent hand dexterity, ability to bend, stoop, stretch and similar activities and able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently. Primary Objective:

This role is responsible for the day-to-day operational support of U.S. Import and Logistics operations. This includes supporting cross border shipments, products, raw materials, samples, and equipment arriving into the US.

The Import Compliance and Logistics Analyst will daily and/or weekly interface with vendors, our import/export organization, international sales, sourcing, and US Customs contacts. They will also be a key contributor to sourcing decisions (landed cost analysis) and accountable for business relationships with our customers broker, freight forwarders and service providers.

Major Areas of Accountability

  1. Enable seamless flow of goods through import compliance in the following activities: U.S. customs filing process, import tariff classifications, and record-keeping.

  2. Determines proper import classifications, valuation, and country of origin/marking of products, equipment, raw materials, to assure regulatory compliance and minimized duty payments.

  3. Establishes, improves, and maintains import operations process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with company business practices and applicable laws and regulations. Conducts import/export audits and implements any necessary corrective actions.

  4. Executes import documentation processes to include determination, creation and ensure record-keeping requirements are met.

  5. Matches incoming invoices with existing documentation to ensure proper assignment of costs.

  6. Prepares quotations for transportation costs in support of customer quoting activities, may need to research or analyze data to finalize quotes. Manages daily relationships with brokers and carriers to resolve problems at all points in transit.

  7. Works with purchasing to assure sourcing decisions are reflective of final US landed costs.

  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Associates Degree

Experience:5 years of import/export compliance operations and logistics in an international business

Working knowledge of Inco Terms and US Harmonized Tariff Systems

  • Operate medical assembly packaging machines (FFS#1, FFS#2, FFS#3) - Rotation Required

  • Ensure equipment is running within MATTEC parameters

  • Changeover tooling for each product

  • Setup and operate printer for labeling and date code information

  • Change top and bottom web as needed

  • Assist employees in changing over barrel lube and assembly fixtures

  • Stage for next job (print plate and fixtures)

This position centers around creating an effective overall ITW showroom & online experience for the end-user customer through the implementation of commercial programs and strategies developed together with the commercial go-to-market team, and the creation and execution of strategic account plans for important customers. The commercial platform of products targets the fragmented retail market and encompasses a wide range of welding machines, filler metals, safety apparel, guns, consumables, and gas apparatus from across the entire ITW Welding portfolio under multiple brands namely Miller, Hobart, Bernard, Tregaskiss, etc.

This territory coverage would include North Texas, North Louisiana, and South Arkansas. The ideal location for the candidate to be based would be the Dallas/Ft Worth metro area with proximity to air transportation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

DISTRIBUTOR ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

For Top Customers -80-

- Create account plans for high potential, strategic distributor partners driving overall commercial growth and channel market share

- Analyze and map 80/20 commercial market potential and ITW growth opportunities in area of responsibility; align strategies & measure success against the -80s- accordingly

- Establish strategic relationships with distribution leadership and decision makers to be a trusted advisor driving growth for the distributor business through ITW solutions

- Initiate and lead distributor sales meetings, involving senior distributor leadership and key decision makers, focused on current strategic growth initiatives, market insights, and future partnership opportunities

- Provide key distributors with a regular and comprehensive report on progress towards sales goals and program execution, which includes insights on how to achieve those goals where progress is not being met

- Strategic positioning of new and high-volume products both within the distributor's brick-motor store as well as their website

- Be the conduit between the commercial go-to-market team and the regional sales team to ensure consistent execution of programs across the region and uniform communication of initiatives to distribution.

- Assess and keep ahead of competitive tactics, potential threats and overall distributor needs and proactively communicating these trends to the commercial go-to-market team.

- Provide commercial go-to-market team with data-driven feedback/recommendations as to the success or failure of our top commercial programs & promotions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or related discipline.

- Minimum of three years of sales or marketing experience; selling and demonstrating industrial products in fragmented retail environment.

  8. Assist in the maintenance and repair of all line related equipment by dismantling and/or examining machinery to perform repairs using hand tools to replace broken or defective parts

  • Anneal / Stress Relieve / Polish components based on procedures

Orbitalum North America is looking to add a new Regional Account Manager, Northeast to our team in the state of New York, residing near Albany. If you are looking for a great opportunity on a growing and dynamic sales team, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking a driven, and dynamic professional sales representative. Someone who has experience identifying qualified opportunities in the Orbital High Purity Welding marketplace. Ideally, you are someone who can develop relationships with new and existing customers, manage long, complex, high value sales cycles to a successful close, and see beyond basic customer needs, to deliver an exceptional sales and customer support experience. Additionally, this person is well versed in selling on value over price, and can consciously monitor industry trends to get ahead of our competition and win sales.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • The direct sale and rental of Orbitalum tube welding, facing, and cutting products, produced by Orbitalum GmbH.

  • Supports sales plan through pre and post technical consulting activities

  • Pre-sales activities include understanding the customer's business and analysis of product needs

  • Post-sales activities include delivery follow-up to ensure product has met customer's needs and communication with customer for additional sales opportunity

  • Handle incoming sales calls and provide technical support of products and applications

  • Responsible for leads, activities, quotations creation and follow up

  • Process and follow up on all incoming leads and opportunities within proposed territory

  • Support field salesmen and distributors in moving opportunities through the sales process

  • Foster new business and build customer relationships as it is essential to our growth within the market place

  • Close customer quotes and process sales orders to invoice

  • Process all RMA's (returns) and forward to shipping

  • May prepare documents for import and export shipments

  • Fulfill all requests for literature and technical information required to identify application and specify equipment

  • Required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the ISO Quality program and procedures, and the safety program

  • Additional duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

  • 2-5 years minimum successful sales background.

  • Basic GTAW welding skills, Orbital GTAW experience preferred in both tube and pipe welding.

  • Team player mentality on a vibrant growing sales team.

  • Machining background or mechanical aptitude recommended.

  • Be willing and able to travel at a moment's notice for long periods of time. Travel requirement of 60-70%.

  • Possess strong positive sales ability.

  • Strong verbal, written, presentation and organization skills with the ability to communicate internally and externally across the organization and with customers.

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point proficiency and CRM Data base documentation.

  • Highly self-motivated and resourceful with demonstrated problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work remotely with limited supervision.

  • Must be able to adjust to a changing work environment, competing demands, frequent changes, delays and unexpected events.

  • Complete training provided by Orbitalum North America to possess broad knowledge of the company's product lines, services, marketing techniques, and demonstration requirements.

  • Significant industry contacts preferred, but not required.

  • Welding certifications, or specific welding-based education preferred but not required.

Physical Demand Category:

  • Ability to lift (50lbs) and demonstrate equipment effectively.
