Job Description

Job Summary:

C3 Presents is currently searching for a Talent Buyer Assistant to join the Casinos Team. As a Talent Buyer Assistant, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to Casinos Division Director and Talent Buyers in the Casino Department, with a heavy emphasis on development into Talent Buyer.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the casino team to book entertainment and facilitate administrative duties including day-to- day related tasks such as pitches, market research, organizational tasks, deal point memos, avail submissions, drafting offers, reviewing contracts, etc.

  • Assist with creating and maintaining offers, confirmations, organizational tools, and other pertinent documents and using these tools to develop extensive knowledge of talent buyers' offers and shows

  • Use independent and proactive research to become knowledgeable about each venue's market, learning to distinguish what content would be appropriate at talent buyers' venues

  • Analyze data to develop lists of potential entertainers for casino shows

  • Participate and take notes on conference calls, updating and sharing information regarding the venues' entertainment strategy

  • Schedule and coordinate conference calls, meetings, and appointments

  • General administrative support including assisting with calls and messages

  • Forge and maintain relationships with agents, assistants, managers, celebrity bookers, entertainment directors, business partners, and casino executives

  • Work with marketing teams to ensure accuracy of each shows' on-sale process and ticketing details

  • Professional and timely response to agency requests for ticket counts

  • Interface with cross departmental teams, including marketing, contracts, legal, etc.

  • Other duties as necessary

    Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in related industry

  • Positive attitude, eager and inquisitive nature, tenacious demeanor, and self-motivator

  • Interested and enthusiastic about music, both on a national level and as it relates to casino entertainment

  • Extensive knowledge of the music industry landscape

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and excel under pressure with high priority on meeting set deadlines

  • Superior organizational, administrative, and time management skills

  • Excellent and confident phone manner to handle significant client contact

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Personable and professional disposition

  • Solid computer skills, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook

  • Flexibility in work hours and availability, including evenings and weekends, especially during major projects events

  • Ability to travel

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Performs the Load-in of band equipment and rental equipment

  • Set Up and break-down of band and event equipment

  • Focus and lighting adjustments to artist or event specifications

  • Spotlight Operations/Lighting Control Boards operation & programming

  • Maintenance and repair of lighting equipment

  • Assist with Production throughout the house as needed

  • Accommodate artist/ event A/V requirements

  • Responsible for safe and consistent operation of lighting

  • Assist with the technical advance with Artists representatives

  • Ensure proper care and handling of all HOBE and rental lighting & A/V equipment

  • Interact with visiting production crews to ensure a successful show

  • Distribute or create lighting plot plans

  • Oversee and operate systems pertaining to lighting throughout the entire event

  • Ensure Special Events lighting needs are scheduled and met

  • Assist audio crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.

  • Assist with any Special Events operations

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

  • 3 years minimum Tour or Stage Production experience

  • Experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems and basic video systems

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficiency with all Microsoft applications

  • Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills

  • High School Diploma

Preferred:

  • College Degree

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs

  • Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level, extreme lighting changes, strobes & moving lights

  • Able to wear a radio earpiece during the scheduled shift

THE JOB

The Campaign Manager, Audience Solutions will play a critical role in the evolution and success of Live Nation's audience-based digital products. As we expand these products, LN needs an experienced, technically proficient candidate to foster brand relationships and execute/optimize sold programs.   • Organize and prioritize preparation of food items

I. Responsible (directly or through supervision of staff member) for all aspects of accounting and finance at the venue level

  • Month-end close process

  • Show Flashing

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

  • 5 years experience with a strong background in accounting

  • 3 years Accounts Payable experience

  • 2-3 years experience in Staff management

  • Cash management background

  • Able to communicate and interact well with executive level management

  • Software requirements (PC Windows based): Very strong Excel skills

  • Experience with national-level integrated General Ledger software system (Oracle)

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 2-4 years experience in all aspects of accounting

THE ROLE

Do you like the big picture? Reporting to the VP of Corporate Planning the Financial Analyst will support the consolidation, prep, and analysis of the monthly and quarterly reporting exercises for the entire company. You will directly contribute to reports, decks, and analysis that the C-Suite will use during quarterly earnings calls and Board of Director's meetings.

  • Provide timely, accurate and meaningful financial analysis of variances between actuals, forecast, budget, and prior year

  • Support ad hoc requests, including financial and operational metrics analysis for investor presentations, CEO/COO presentations and employee presentations by the CEO

  • Support the consolidation of the annual budget shared cost allocation process

  • Ensure data integrity exists between Oracle (ERP system) and BPC (Forecasting system)

  • Support the quarterly earnings process

  • Support Corporate Accounting SEC reporting requirements for 10-Q and 10-K reporting of financial results and operational metrics

  • Support Corporate Accounting & Tax by providing accurate and timely financial information

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree required from a top-tier university (Finance/Accounting preferred)

  • 1-2 years of relevant Financial Planning experience (budgets, forecasts, etc.)

  • Entertainment industry experience a plus

  • Intermediate MS Excel skills & experience (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs), and proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint

THE JOB

We are currently looking for a Regional Marketing Coordinator. This person, under guidance of the Regional Marketing Management Team, will be responsible for multiple tasks that are essential to the success of Live Nation's marketing efforts including artist and audience research, coordination, and delivery of marketing assets to marketing partners, invoice coding and payment and event marketing recap reports.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Perform a range of administrative and marketing support duties for the Regional Marketing Management Team

  • Coordinate the delivery of promotional tickets with applicable marketing partners throughout the region

  • Compile advertising settlement recap reports for locally booked events

  • Code and process incoming advertising invoices

  • Research audience and artist demographic info to help shape marketing plans

  • Assist with any grassroots marketing campaigns (ordering flyers/posters, shipping materials)

  • Assist the local sponsorship team with annual local sponsorship marketing recaps

  • Assist the local PR team in compiling local show information for press releases

  • Ensure all necessary show marketing information is input into Live Nation proprietary marketing tools

  • Day of show event coverage as necessary

  • Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings is required (as dictated by show dates, deadlines, etc.)

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

  • Extensive music knowledge: event planning, concert or sports marketing experience preferred

Our product development team is responsible for designing and building the technical solutions that make up North America's premier festival ticketing platform. The Experience Department Coordinator position provides day-to-day administrative support on planning and execution of signage, dcor, and creative assets for all C3 Presents-produced events. The position contributes to the overall event management plan and works as part of the Experience Department, interfacing with all our other C3 departments, external vendors, and event staff, as necessary. This position has a large aspect of on-site physical labor at times.

Responsibilities:

  • Track the Experience Department budgets, including all expenses, receipts, invoices, and reimbursements as needed

  • Assist with Experience Department payroll expense management as needed

  • Handle vendor creation and contract submissions

  • Assist Experience Department in submitting and monitoring vendor festival advances through My Fest Advance

  • Oversee the task management platform and keep Experience Department on track for their deadlines

  • Maintain Experience Department database of vendors and research new vendors as asked

  • Manage and organize the Experience department warehouse inventory; let Director know if anything needs to be repaired, restored, or recreated for future events.

  • Repair and restore inventory if needed

  • Build and install various dcor and signage elements as needed per festival

  • Assist with event load-in and load-out as needed

  • Assist Experience Department on site with Dcor and signage install

  • Communicate between C3 on staff team and Contractors for each festival

  • Assist Experience Department in Proofing Signage Templates and creating new ideas

  • Manage vendor payments before, during and after festivals

  • Coordinate Experience Department meetings, including logging notes and agendas

  • On site duties to include physically installing dcor, signage and experiential items if needed

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of applicable experience in related industry (preferred)

THE JOB - Operations Assistant at Tabernacle

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Works directly with the venue leadership or Operations Manager to perform day of show duties

  • Assists in the setup and tear down of 100% of the venue's assets for all events - Chairs, tables, tents, signage, etc.

  • Perform regular preventive and general maintenance around the site, buildings, including painting, cleaning, landscaping and Misc. Projects.

  • Respond to or elevate staff/guest inquiries and or concerns regarding all shows, artist meet and greet packages, amenities, as well as our VIP program and seat upgrades

  • Perform opening/running/closing duties according to Live Nation policy

  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues encountered

  • Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members

  • Diagnose safety issues around the site, help prevent potential safety hazards.

  • Detect and/or respond to faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

  • If applicable, driving forklift and/or other company vehicles and complete all required tasks that fall under those positions.

  • Assist with venue setup/event conversions.

  • Additional tasks as requested by management.

THE ROLE This position assists the General Manager in all necessary aspects of managing the venue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide daily support to General Manager, which includes but is not limited to:

  • schedule and calendar upkeep

  • office ops schedule upkeep

  • prepare General Manager for specialized meetings and industry functions

  • field general inquiries and re-direct to the General Manager

  • monthly expenses

  • compiling venue finances for weekly profit and loss reports

  • research and distribute monthly local crime reports

  • research projects (yearly business plan, annual report, customer service presentation, sponsorship and donations binder, court cases related to venue, etc.)

  • process ticket request forms

  • Provide general office upkeep, which includes but is not limited to:

  • order and refresh office supplies

  • receive/sign for UPS/Fed-Ex deliveries

  • prep spaces for meetings

  • Provide support to Finance team by submitting final finance reports for shows, creating all show files and submitting venue invoices

  • Organize charitable efforts and providing support on venue rentals

  • Develop office systems, including venue accounting, on-boarding process for new employees, lost & found, charity donations, phone tree, IT-related systems

  • Develop manual on office SOPs

  • Develop venue templates for PowerPoint presentations, proposals, etc., in order to create distinct look for all outgoing venue correspondence

The Recruitment/Onboarding and Training Specialist will assist in the recruitment, hiring and orientation of new venue staff.

Job duties:

  • Proactively build talent pipelines through online sourcing, job fair events and establishing relationships with key partners in the area to develop recruitment funnels.

  • Work with venue leadership & venue marketer to create campaign to market job opportunities at venue.

THE ROLE:

The Special Events Logistics Manager is responsible for the coordination and execution of all events contracted by the Sales Department. This position supports our House of Blues venue in Anaheim, CA.

Responsibilities:

I. Essential Functions

  • Coordinate all aspects of operational set-up and break down of events (equipment needs, rental needs, and station set-up)

  • Assists with Production department all aspects needed for an event

  • Liaison between client and House of Blues Team Members throughout Event.

  • Executes admission tickets and retail requests for Special Events

  • Verbally communicate in a calm, positive demeanor, during the course of the function with the kitchen, service, beverage, as well as the guest host to ensure timely execution of events, quality of service and adherence to all applicable federal, state and local safety & health regulations and HOB standards.

  • Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific HOB standard)

  • Conduct Event Pre-Shift with Operations Managers and communicate event specifics at Team Member Pre-Shift

  • Assures seamless transition for Client from Sales Department to Operations Manager during Event

  • Handle all aspects of the Special Event once the special event order (SEO) has been distributed

  • Maintain files in proper order after the special event order has been distributed.

  • Client interaction; conducts site inspections and walk through with clients as requested by SM / DOS

  • Assist Sales Manager(s) as requested with special needs by the client

  • Conduct meetings such as the SEO Meeting and Production Meeting

  • Due to the nature of the hospitality industry; you may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the venue.

    II. Accounting Functions

  • Verify Deposit / Payments tracking schedules with Sales Manager

  • Proper execution and completion of all post event paperwork: Party Recap Sheet, Captain's Report and Receipts

  • Responsible for proper settlement or payment on night of event with client and entering billing information into Micros system to generate a final guest check

  • Manage staff hours to ensure we are not exceeding our budget

    III. Staff Functions

  • Train all staff with regards to the proper techniques and etiquette for service

  • Assist the staff and captains with the execution of events according to the event order and HOB standards

  • Produce weekly banquet summary for all events - includes number of team members and their time to be scheduled and verify staffing was handled by Operations Managers.

  • Oversee attendance according to schedules, adjust and reassign server stations, as necessary, in order to provide quality service during functions.

    IV. Inventory Functions

  • Maintain and order all Linen inventory & cleaning

  • Order equipment, maintain inventory / par levels & report deficiencies to DOS

  • Order all specialty items as sold by Sales Manager and upsell to client as opportunity arises

  • Ensures equipment rentals for SE are ordered and returned to vendors

  • Obtain permits as needed

THE JOB

Live Nation is seeking qualified Box Office Assistants to assist with ticketing operations for concert venues in multiple locations around the US. This detail-oriented position requires excellent organizational skills, professional interaction with management personnel, partners, clients of all levels, an ability to work efficiently, accurately and effectively under pressure, and ability to complete and prioritize tasks in a timely manner. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Assistant Managerial Duties

  • Develop strong working relationships with Live Nation promoters, ticketing staff, guests, and affiliated partners

  • Assist with training, scheduling of Box Office personnel

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external event personnel to ensure all ticketing needs are addressed

  • Ensure Ticketing department delivers exceptional customer service to all guests and works proactively to resolve any issues that arise

Event Management

  • Build and maintain events for venue(s) or locations assigned within the appropriate ticketing software

  • Assist talent buyers, tour personnel and internal staff, as necessary, with event programming, reporting, ticket holds and other ticketing details

Accounting/Financial Duties

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

THE JOB

Our Live Nation Concerts division is seeking a Junior Talent Buyer to support the South Region.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Buy talent for local South Region third party venues and assist with booking other venue spaces as needed

  • Create and grow recurring local artist shows and club nights to achieve budgeted profit

  • Maintain and grow current local nights and club nights to achieve budgeted profit

  • Execute promoting deals with local third-party promoters

  • Hiring, training and management of interns

  • Work with venue marketer on ticket give-away promotions, marketing materials and street team efforts

  • Receive/review demo tapes received from local/national musicians

  • Work with talent agencies and band representatives to advance show

  • Compile and distribute monthly musical calendar

  • Communicate calendar updates/changes to staff and appropriate media and provide them with promotional material

  • Review band contracts and riders

  • Receive/distribute all mail/faxes/fed ex for Talent department

  • Ensure that flow of venue and corporate information gets to Talent Buyer in an orderly and timely fashion

  • Schedule appointments and act as liaison between staff and Talent Buyer

  • Field and make calls for Talent Buyer - Follow up calls and correspondence as needed

  • Set up filing system - Create/update of all artist biography information

  • Manage and execute all Artist contract/rider processing, deposits, night of show payments, and tax documents

  • Prepare plans describing action steps to achieve financial targets

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

THE JOB

We are seeking a highly organized individual with dynamic interpersonal skills who will assist in booking acts and marketing concerts and managing relationships in the live concert industry.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Proactively manage a busy and complex calendar

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings or other events as directed

  • Work with other members of internal departments as requested to promote departmental objectives.

  • Compose, type, and prepare correspondence, memos, PowerPoint presentations, confidential materials, etc. of the highest quality.

  • Directly coordinate, or coordinate with Travel Department, travel arrangements including flights, hotels, and car services as requested and create itineraries, including all confirmations and contact information for flights, hotel and transportation. Updates itineraries and check for new information pertaining to travel. Prepare and update office travel schedule.

  • Coordinates, administrates and tracks show contracts, payments and other paperwork from beginning to end.

  • Provide general administrative support and perform diversified administrative duties; prioritize, and manage projects with minimal supervision.

  • Interface with agents and venues to verify availability and build a calendar of events

  • Manage internal documentation using internal booking systems, calendars and ticketing schedules.

THE JOB

The Director, National Account Sales, is responsible for the development of incremental revenue generation and national management of the day to day relationship for key National Premium Seat accounts for Live Nation Venues.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Prospect, cultivate and close new full season business/corporate hospitality events/premium seating and products with key corporate accounts National management of day to day relationship for national premium seating accounts Liaison between national premium seating accounts and venue sales team Partner with key vendors within the Venues organization to drive incremental ticket sales opportunities Research and participate in key industry conferences that target vertical segments showcasing Live Nation premium ticket offerings Partner with the Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Directors and Venue Director of Sales in select markets for the development of full season product offering, special event/corporate hospitality offerings to drive new corporate full season business Maintain a pipeline of all sales activities in KORE/Salesforce

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Bachelor's degree in sports/entertainment management, business or related field is required Five to ten years direct business to business sports and entertainment sales experience, preferably in premium seat sales or sponsorship A proven track record in relationship building and networking skills with ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of an organization Demonstrated dedication with the ability to oversee projects from origin through execution with a sense of urgency, sometimes under a high level of pressure Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards new business development Highly motivated, naturally assertive, with a positive attitude Excellent organizational and time-management skills Prior experience with Archtics and Ticketmaster systems is a plus

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Supervision of the Department

  • Organize/Manage daily & nightly Box Office operations (Will Call, Guest List, Ticket Sales, Ticket Scanning, etc.)

  • Assist and support box office staff in any of their job functions, as needed

  • Ensure positive and creative team environment within the department

  • Facilitate open communication with the Box Office Manager, staff and all other venue departments

  • Exhibit proper inter-departmental communications and organization

  • Ensure complete and satisfactory on-going staff training

  • Assist manager with staff evaluations (training, 90-day, annual)

  • Provide a positive team environment within the department

  • Assist in ensuring appropriate staffing levels.

  • Help set staff development and performance goals & monitor progress

  • Recruitment and hiring staff, ensure that hiring / disciplinary / termination standards follow all Clubs & Theaters guidelines

  • Promote and provide superior customer service in all guest interactions

  • Participate in all on-site venue meetings as needed

    II. Financial / Cash Handling

  • Ensure that venue staff follows Clubs & Theaters cash handling policies & procedures

  • Balance and reconciliation of all seller cash drawers

  • Assist Manager on reconciliation & accounting of all ticket sales for each ticketed event and daily Box Office Sales.

  • Assist Manager on housing, distributing and depositing venue cash on a weekly basis.

  • Responsible for pricing initiatives such as: Progressive, Platinum, Dynamic, Flex Pricing as well as Value Channels & Special Ticket Offers when applicable.

  • Assist Manager in scheduling all employee's payroll prior to deadlines

  • Conduct band settlement on shows with split point deals, or when deemed necessary by talent department

  • Complete and distribute accurate daily ticket counts for agents and artists

    III. Other Responsibilities

  • Create, modify and maintain inventory for all ticketed events in a secure ticketing environment

  • Follow standards and processes for ticket types, ancillary events and qualifiers

  • Monitor and maintain functionality of all ticketing computers, software and hardware

  • Secondary representative in all venue interactions with Ticketmaster

  • Ensure an accurate and timely flow of event and general venue information both intra-departmentally, and to the general public

  • Modify, maintain and update all customer database files

  • Develop and maintain call center phone system, and keep current all phone menus and calendars of events

  • Interact with artist, record label, management and band tour accountant. Provide reports as necessary.

  • Work with Premium Seat Sales/VIP team on Upsells, inventory management and any other tasks as they arise

  • Work with Operations/Guest Services on ADA tickets, relocation or troubleshooting needs as they arise.

  • Position may require 3rd Party venue coverage offsite which will include night of show management, staffing and providing equipment needs.

  • Ensure that venue is compliant with ADA ticket laws

    WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
