The Branch Chief for Cyber Readiness will directly work with the Chief of Cybersecurity Operations. They will take previous experience with cybersecurity operations, compliance, governance, and standards to oversee the future planning and day-to-day operations of the TCS Cybersecurity Readiness service.

The Cyber Readiness Branch Chief will oversee and direct all teams within Cyber Readiness. This includes the Audit Support, Orders & Directives, Subscriber Management, Cybersecurity Performance Evaluation, Exercise Planning and Evaluation, Training, and Tradecraft teams. Because of this, the candidate will be required to effectively work with and communicate with varying levels of stakeholders to include TCS leadership, senior executives, technical customers, non-technical customers, and all TCS staff down to the lowest levels.

More About the Role

  • Will assist with the monitoring of performance and morale of staff across the Cybersecurity Readiness branch by providing awareness and, if relevant, recommended courses of action to resolve issues to the Chief of Cybersecurity Operations.

  • As needed, will provide guidance or direction to lower-level staff.

  • Provide a monthly briefing to the customer on current work and completed work. To include any issues identified that were addressed or residual issues that require further attention.

  • Continuously assesses SOC capability/maturity and optimizes SOC processes (Incident

  • Detection, Incident Handling, Incident Response/Recovery) through various technical (i.e., exercises, cyber threat emulation) and non-technical (i.e., audits/assessments, lessons learned) channels.

  • Will act as the representative for any Cyber-related audits on behalf of the customer. This will include attending scheduled audit meetings and/or briefing the customer on notable findings or recommendations, as needed

You'll Bring These Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a TS/SCI with ability to obtain a Polygraph

  • Demonstrated leadership experience serving as an operations chief, chief engineer, functional manager or team lead for a minimum of 8 years.

  • Sufficient knowledge of complex enterprise cybersecurity systems and technologies with the ability to interpret network and web architecture documentation.

  • Demonstrated experience providing briefings to an executive audience.

  • Certified DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical Officer (IAT) Level III

  • Certified ISACA CISA or equivalent (Must obtain within 6 months if not held)

  • Demonstrated specialized experience applying ICD-503 Risk Management Framework, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications, Committee on National Security Systems (CNSI), International Standards

  • Organization (ISO) 27000 series, and the Security Operations Capability Maturity Model(s) (SOC-CMM, C2M2, or equivalents) to secure information systems.

  • Demonstrated experience with ODNI ICS 500-27, NSM-8, and OMB M21-31

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity compliance policy, programs, processes, and metrics.

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills with the ability to write clear and concise assessment reports.

  • Good understanding of project management concepts such as ITIL and the differences between Iterative versus Waterfall methodologies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Computer Science, Cyber Security Engineering or IT-related discipline. An additional 6 years of experience in cybersecurity may be substituted in lieu of degree.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated 5 or more years of experience supporting an IC or DoD agency in adopting and transitioning systems and services to cloud environments, including hybrid cloud environments.

  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity design, engineering and operations with emphasis on NGA capabilities.

CACI is looking for a Technical Project Manager to manage the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) support a FOIA case management solution. This position involves managing a mixed staff of remote and on-site professionals using Agile principles to create software modules and work products using Angular / TypeScript development that meet customer's business requirements for new features, enhancement of existing capabilities, and correction of defects identified in the system. You will be is responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of five to seven IT professionals to meet the cost, quality, and schedule requirements for the on-going support, operation, and maintenance of the FOIA case management solution operated in an on-premise cloud environment. You will oversee the planning, design, and implementation of new system capabilities and enhancement of existing functionality; the deployment and testing of software; and reporting of progress, cost, and quality to internal and customer stakeholders. You will make pro-active recommendations and advise on system improvements, automation, and risk management. You will also coach members of the team to ensure they have a clear understanding of the requirements and project goals.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the successful execution of all project activities for the Operation and Maintenance of the system.

  • Works with customer PMO to establish priorities, set schedules, define appropriate metrics, and address issues and concerns.

  • Serves as the primary point-of-contact for all project issues and inquiries for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Leads the team to plan and execute sprints for delivering incremental functionality to the system.

  • Oversees efforts to meet customer and business needs.

This is an opportunity to work on a dynamic program supporting the Delta 3 Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Squadron -Provisional (DEL3 ISRS-P) that executes as collaborative teams. The program collaboratively creates mission critical software applications for its users, whom we coordinate with heavily for design and development to ensure efficient and effective execution of their mission. You will support the development teams system requirements as well as the deployed application environments. YOUR contribution will be critical to help us maintain our team's record of on time and on schedule deliveries.

What You'll Get to Do:

The program uses both physical hardware deployments as well as cloud based systems and VMs. You will be supporting for highly visible, mission critical cloud-native microservice-based systems.

  • Install, configure, and maintain the Linux operating systems.

  • Analyze and resolve problems associated with the operating system's servers, hardware, applications, and software.

  • Monitor systems performance and ensure compliance with security standards.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field with 7+ years' experience

  • TS/SCI with Poly

  • Experience with network and server hardware procurement and detailed record keeping supporting mission networks.

  • Experience with infrastructure troubleshooting, to include direct interaction with vendors and service providers.

  • Experience patching and updating Linux server operating systems and configuring Linux server network integration.

  • Experience in the design, implementation, procurement, tradecraft, or maintenance of various layers of network infrastructure.

  • In-depth understanding of Linux operating systems (e.g. Red Hat, Centos, Ubuntu, Fedora, Scientific Linux, Debian, etc.).

  • Ability to research the latest technological developments in relevant operating systems to identify impact and anticipate changes in the organization's operating environment.

  • Experience buying, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers.

  • Security+ or equivalent certification

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Configuration Management tools, such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.

  • Experience with Continuous integration/Deployment Tools, such as Jenkins.

  • Experience with scripting tools, such as PHP, Python, Perl or Ruby.

  • Experience monitoring network activity and network traffic redirection.

  • Familiarity with proxy implementations (e.g. iptables, mod_proxy, digital certificates etc.).

  • Administration of VMWare.

  • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services.

  • Experience with ICD 503-compliant systems.

  • Experience or knowledge of Host Based Security System (HBSS).

  • Experience or knowledge of hyperconverged infrastructure solutions such as Nutanix.

  • Experience with container solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, or AWS Elastic Container Services along with orchestration technologies such as Swarm, etc.

More About the Role

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for 300+ SCIF -residents-

  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee and resident arrivals including managing the SCIF seating chart

  • Coordinates badging, security briefing, and IT briefing/setup for new residents

  • Supports offboarding processes for departing residents

  • Serves as primary point of contact for vendors who lease SCIF space

  • Manages and updates Master Service Agreements with SCIF space vendors on an annual basis

  • Creates and sends monthly invoices to vendors with SCIF seats

  • Triage and direct emergency/on-call incidents to appropriate personnel such as facilities maintenance, security, or IT, as needed (not as primary on-call person)

  • Coordinate purchase requests and delivery/restocking of supplies for the SCIF's amenities (e.g., break rooms, kitchens, cleaning supplies)

  • Support resident requests regarding Conference Rooms or other common areas (e.g., opening/closing divider walls)
