Our Learning and Development folks are seeking a performance coach to join our Home Office Team!
This individual will be responsible for the effective development of Cracker Barrel Field Managers with a primary focus of improving performance in Sales, Food and Labor. Cofacilitate the Manager Development Program (MIT) for all newly promoted field leaders and external hires. Follows up and coaches MIT participants during and after the program. Collaborates with a variety of internal stakeholders for the purpose of developing and implementing new Company processes and systems. Provides feedback to content development group and identifies skill gaps that need to be addressed in existing programs.
Sustainment
- Works in collaboration with other departments to support delivery and sustainment of
the MIT training program. Completes all MIT follow up throughout training. Partners
with training stores to ensure MIT experience and performance.
- Collaborate with Field Human Resources and other regional support teams to identify
opportunities for performance improvement.
- Communicate and coordinates interventions to help improve store improvement
- Conducts store audits to ensure consistent operational standards.
Facilitation
- Operational Initiatives and System Training support.
- Clearly and concisely conveys written information orally or in writing to individuals or
groups to ensure that they understand the information and the message.
- Facilitating groups in a classroom setting; communicating with diverse groups and
individuals.
- Ensures the content delivery aligns with operational focus and strategy.- Prepares classrooms / kitchen facilities for all training sessions.
- Maintain training kitchen operations, sanitation, equipment and food ordering
processes.
Field Support
- Works with Home Office Performance Coach Manager and Internal Stakeholders to
effectively assist in MIT training development and company initiatives.
- Monitor the MIT training program execution in the training stores and assigned stores.
- Perform training needs assessment for gaps in performance and develops solutions
that align with business objectives.
- Support the creation and development of training programs and analyze the results of
their efforts with specific business metrics
Admin, Personal Development
- Ensures Travel expenses are aligned with Company policy and submits in a timely
manner.
- Documents, and communicates store visit summaries and MIT participant summaries
- Cross training with Field Performance Coaches on all platforms and programs.
- Stays abreast of current facilitation and coaching techniques and best practices
- Mentors new team members and assists Field Performance Coaches as needed
- Maintains certifications and recertifies prior to expiration
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of
education and experience
- Preferred experience in the service industry

The HR Business Process Manager-Workday Payroll is responsible for the support and implementation of HCM areas in Workday to include based processes, programs, and solutions to support current and future business requirements. Support the portfolio of Workday initiatives which include planning and execution of projects. Collaborate with all HR functions to identify best practices and efficiencies and work with IT and/or third-party solution providers to implement changes.
- Utilizes a strong knowledge of the company's business systems, industry standards/trends, and best practices to identify opportunities to improve business processes.
- Serve as the HRIS partner supporting HCM areas in Workday, including Payroll, Time, Absence, Compensation
- Serve as a strong consultative partner to HR Business Partners and HR COEs in service delivery
- Oversee the portfolio of Workday initiatives. Manages cross-functional project teams and vendors. Drives consensus and alignment with all stakeholders.
- Design and maintain system configuration for Workday, including Supervisory Organization, Custom Organizations, etc.
- Maintain master data values in Workday (ex: Pay Groups, Earning, Deductions, Job Profile, Job Family, Job Group, Roles, Custom Organization Types, Position locations). Test, validate, and implement Business Process changes in Workday
- Work to meet expected business performance goals by providing full range of customer service Provide input to Workday Team Lead, Workday Team Members, and clients as appropriate
- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen
- Analyze current business/workflow processes and requirements within HR to align technology with strategic initiatives.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Business, or related field plus 5- 7 years experience in business process design and project management.

This individual will manage and develop staff responsible for the analysis of the company's operations. They will implement strategic initiatives by creating systems and processes to evaluate strategic programs and initiative. Also lead the forecasting, financial planning, analysis and reporting functions of the organization of assigned business units.
Builds business plans and comprehensive monthly forecasts. Responsible for development and execution of effective ideas and solutions which optimize company resources and improve profitability, while protecting the Brand. Coordinates and presents regular forecasts for Cracker Barrel, including advertising and media as well as the digital guest experience, culinary innovation and operations, menu strategy, communications, brand strategy and format innovation, pricing, reducing food costs through specification and sourcing changes and commodity inflation, and all aspects of the company's off-premise business. Must be adept at understanding complexities and interdependencies of information, high levels of anticipation, critical events, trends, and timely identification of risks & opportunities.
Collaborates with various levels of management to acquire and develop reasonable, accurate projections of goals and key success drivers of short- and long-term sales & profitability.
Serves as a critical strategic resource to the key functional areas of the organization. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of Loyalty and CRM program promotions, including Email, SMS/MMS, and Push Messaging. They will manage timelines and ensuring content is distributed in a timely manner. They will also enhance our programs to create loyalty, increase retention and improve overall ROI. Other duties include editorial direction, calendar creation, and collaboration on overall channel communications.
- Manage the execution of daily email and mobile communications for our Loyalty and CRM program. Write effective and compelling creative briefs, develop segmentation and personalization strategy to drive incremental profit and continuous improvement of KPI's.
- Become a steward on acquisition and retention campaigns for our multi-channel databases.
- Create email campaigns that align with Cracker Barrel's overarching multi-channel strategy and partner with internal Creative, Agency partners, Analytics, and Marketing teams to formulate targeted content and cohesive customer engagement.
- Manage email and mobile marketing production schedules to ensure flawless and on time execution. Secure necessary approvals from all applicable stakeholders and QAing all test sends.
- Analyze and interpret results from Loyalty and CRM marketing campaigns, share learnings with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in campaigns.
- Develop and help report on rigorous testing strategy for email marketing campaigns, including subject lines, dynamic content, creative layout, targeting, etc.
- Leverage data to make more informed decisions on customer behavior and continually optimize programs - email performance, customer data, email behavioral data, test results, etc.
- Managing and presenting the Loyalty and CRM campaign calendar for all email and mobile communications to support the business initiatives
- Stay aware of email marketing trends to communicate and execute new ideas to improve and optimize day-to-day activities.
- Effectively build relationships with cross-functional teams and be a subject matter expert on the benefits of a data-driven mindset and innovative digital solutions.
- Prepare materials to internally communicate business priorities and strategy for marketing efforts and help enhance the customer view.
- Assisting Loyalty Manager on any Loyalty Program field communications or needs required by the business.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably restaurant, retail or consumer packaged goods
- Proven success managing CRM/implementing personalization in email
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
- Effective time management skills to prioritize, delegate and meet deadlines
- Understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
- Proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
- Experience working in a cross-functional team and managing multiple projects at once
- Experience running and optimizing large scale marketing programs and developing strategies to increase customer lifetime value is preferred
- Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, manage stakeholder relationships and prioritize stakeholder requests
