Job Duties/Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited to:
Safely perform the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
Operates handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
Performs housekeeping functions as required
Will be required to use heavy equipment, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes/hoists
Report defects and need for repairs.
Will be required to use pneumatic tools and/or power tools to crate products and prep them for shipment
Build and construct wooden shipping containers
Utilize tools for the application of paint and rust preventative
Adherence to attendance policies
Mandatory overtime may be required (Saturday and possible weekday)
Volunteer overtime may be available

JOB PURPOSE: This role is accountable for delivering business solutions that include integrating Global Supply Network and/or other functional capabilities. Capabilities are Moderately Complex and Standard and include, but are not limited to, network design and engineering, packaging, transportation, strategic sourcing, category management, network visibility, data analytics and management that are globally effective and applicable. In addition, this role is also accountable for providing direction to solution owners who will be developing capabilities to create value for the business.
JOB DUTIES: Major Role: Deliver Moderately Complex and Standard business solutions by integrating Global Supply Network capabilities that produce consistent results through proper deployment and adoption. This position is accountable for setting the vision for global supply network solutions to meet enterprise or business unit needs. To successfully design and develop solutions, the successful individual will collaborate with senior stakeholders and business users to collect VOB/VOC, business requirements, and prepare implementation plans for successful deployment. This position will also be accountable for driving adoption and identifying continuous improvement opportunities including standardization and simplification, and mitigating risks.
This position may serve as process owner and subject matter expert for the developed solutions. This position leads a group of solutions owners, project leaders, functional experts, and / or operations supervisors.
This position will typically direct their team in the development of several concurrent business/commercial pursuits in various stages of development. Their team will work closely with SME's from other disciplines and under the direction of a Solutions Owner/Project Leader to provide functional support to the development of a viable, profitable and compelling solution for the supply network. The position will work with the GSND's functional areas to ensure alignment with our process partner's objectives and provide value to the enterprise by establishing Solution Offerings for the 5 Rights.
Basic Qualifications

As a Senior Design Engineer concentrating on the motor design in the Medium Voltage Rotating Components team, you will be joining a rapid growing innovative team on the cutting edge of electrification. You will have the unique opportunity to direct and contribute to the concept, development, and design of rotating electrical components primarily consisting of motors and generators.
The Medium Voltage Rotating Components team is responsible for end-to-end design and development of components for multiple Caterpillar applications. You will have the opportunity to strengthening your simulation skills, analytical skills, and mastery of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts associated with medium voltage motors and generators.
You will be responsible for the execution and coordination of design efforts necessary for the successful design and development. You will have the opportunity to lead and work with a highly experienced team of engineers having significant experience across Caterpillar electric drive applications.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Design Owner of products (Motors specifically)
Develop design concepts through a process of optimization
Strong collaboration with suppliers through potential Development Agreements
Quality leadership through PPAP and overall APQP rigor
Current Product Improvements through feedback from the field
Collaborate with machine businesses NPI & NTI product programs and their respected design groups
Supply chain ownership of materials and cost

Caterpillar's Resource Industries Operations & Products (RIOP) Project Manager is a manufacturing subject matter expert within a high-performing Manufacturing Strategy team with responsibilities across the division. The incumbent will be accountable for developing and leading (or supporting another project lead) complex projects and programs at a division & facility level. The Section Manager 2 is responsible for the production stores inventory held in Lafayette in support of the nearby engine manufacturing facility. This leader is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records in support of Caterpillar's financial records as well as providing a clear signal to the assembly line for production. Description
Provide communications consultation and support on a variety of internal and/or external assignments for Caterpillar's IT division. The incumbent is becoming effective as a practitioner, growing the skills sets needed to take on more of a strategic role.
Duties
The incumbent provides communications assistance within the department in the development and production of communication deliverables at the corporate and/or business unit level. The incumbent in this job prepares to take on the role of a more senior communications representative position and will gain an understanding of customer needs. The incumbent assists in the development of organizational change management (OCM) and communication strategies and provides communications consulting to customers, including the cybersecurity awareness team and IT project teams implementing changes impacting end users across the enterprise. The incumbent is familiar with the company's processes, systems and methodologies. Decisions made by this position are less routine and with intermediate risk issues. Challenges include meeting expectations in delivering results, considering alternative courses of actions, making timely decisions, and continuing to build communication skills.
The position also owns or is responsible for communication vehicles, including newsletters, websites, videos/streaming media, etc. The incumbent also manages several non-repeating projects, both internally and externally, through completion.
Typical internal customers include various contacts throughout the enterprise.
The supervisor/manager typically directs the work of the incumbent. The position manages the completion of its own work assignments and coordinates work with others. Impacts key quality goals including Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Timeliness, Accuracy, Efficiency, Cost Savings, Process Quality, etc.
Basic Qualifications
College or university degree in communications or equivalent experience
1+ years of job-related experience
