The L3Harris Tactical Communication Sector is seeking a Product Analyst to provide tactical technical support for our Small Form-Factor (SFF) product line and future handheld radio opportunities. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with proficient knowledge of tactical radio product lines and practical project management skills. They will investigate customer requirements, research accessory and external application compatibility with our product offerings and provide informed recommendations. This role will be based out of our Rochester, New York facility.
Essential Functions:

Prepare detailed product specifications/responses for RFIs/RFPs in collaboration with offering managers.

Job Description:
The Specialist, Systems Engineer performs technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation, and troubleshooting for total systems and or subsystems. Qualifications:

Essential Functions:
50% - Full scale propellant mixing - Prepares materials and performs full-scale mixing for all production programs, confirming acceptable weights prior to releasing the materials to casting operations. The technician will also perform full-scale mixes for new programs/new formulations as they are introduced to the site. The technician is responsible for requisitioning and organizing the materials and processing required for the mix, as well as cleaning and maintaining full scale mix equipment. Technician will perform these duties under the general direction of engineer and the area supervisor, using established, well-defined methods and calculations.
10% - Mathematical - Perform mathematical calculations, such as, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, to create acceptable mixes for casting, and use process data to fill out manufacturing data sheets. These calculations are performed using well-defined methods.
35% - Grinding - The technician will assemble grinders and grind materials for full-scale propellant mixes and weigh material bins to correct weight for propellant mixing. Technician is responsible for disassembly, cleaning, and re-assembly of full-scale grinding equipment.
5% - Other duties as assigned - Such as but not limited to: AP prep for grinding, bowl plugging for mixing Prototype motor casting, development sample preparation, and support of new production initiatives and schedules.
Willing and available to work other shifts or overtime as needed to meet production schedules.
Able to work from elevated platforms, climb ladders, and transport 35 lbs. repetitively.

As a Software Tester, you will create test cases, execute manual and automated tests, document results and manage defects. You will communicate and work closely with internal customers and the Software Development Team to ensure high standards of the deliverables.
Essential Functions:
Manage own workload of jobs as tasked by the Software Development Manager using task management tools.
Produce and maintain technical product documentation and user manuals.
Interface with FDS Analysts (and their airline customers) to build feature requirements.
Plan, produce and execute test cases and check the results to ensure the system's technical and functional requirements are met.
Execute regression tests.
Identify, raise, report and tracking of software defects.
Reproduce customer problems.
Perform functional, integration, usability, regression, mobile, big data, cross browser, performance and security testing.
Ensure the products are tested to the business goals.
Working closely with the development team to ensure resolution of recorded defects.
Participate in Scrum meetings to flag when something is not of satisfactory quality.
Manage progress against goals and report/escalate accordingly.
Understand the purpose of the feature along with the overall business strategy.
Create, improve, and enforce quality procedures within the R&D team.
