This is a senior level position that will work collaboratively with the division HR team, Business Leaders, and the Human Resources Director. In addition to ensuring effective delivery of HR core processes and compliance with relevant company guidelines and policies, this position requires the ability to partner and influence people at all levels of the organization. Essential Functions:
Partnering both within HR and on a cross-functional basis in developing and executing talent strategies to support achievement of business operating plans and strategic objectives, while building on the cultural foundation of the division.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant HR experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD clearance, which requires US Citizenship

Job Overview
We are seeking a Principal Engineer to be located at Aerojet Rocketdyne's defense headquarters in Huntsville, AL. While Huntsville, AL is the strongly preferred location, this position could potentially be filled at any Aerojet Rocketdyne location, and flexwork or remote locations are a possibility. The chief engineer provides technical leadership for all aspects of solid rocket development programs. The program CE plays a key role in ensuring 100% mission success through ensuring rigorous application of technical decision making and leveraging engineering discipline capability. Responsibilities include coordination of engineering organization resource deployment, working with the program office to ensure accurate resource demands, integration of resources into the program, monitoring status of technical performance measures, creation and execution of a design and development plan, and execution of the engineering review board processes. The chief engineer represents engineering within the program management team, leads the engineering systems integration team, chairs the engineering review board, and serves as the technical interface with external customers. Ensures appropriate application of engineering standard work and performance and quality of product requirements for all phases of the program from design analysis & definition, verification & validation, to post-delivery product support efforts.
Essential Functions
50% - Lead Engineering teams working on development of solid rocket propulsion system. Direct and coordinate all engineering work; manage technical progress and schedule and cost status and create a Design Development Plan. Assure that delivered products meet Aerojet Rocketdyne and contractual requirements for engineering design.
30% - Monitor technical progress and interface with Program Manager, Aerojet Rocketdyne customers and other Aerojet Rocketdyne functional organizations to understand and develop resolution to program technical issues.
10% - Provide technical consultation to Program Management and Business Development organizations on business development activities such as writing white papers or preparing and presenting technical briefings to customers.
10% - Technical Lead on proposals to government customers or prime contractors for propulsion development or technology programs.
Secondary job functions could include attending IPT meetings and providing written and verbal status reports to leadership.

We are seeking a Composite Manufacturing Technician A to work at our state-of-the-art Advanced Manufacturing Facility (AMF) in Huntsville, AL, which will be our inert manufacturing facility for fabrication and assembly of composite rocket motor hardware. Essential Functions:
Level 1 Composite Manufacturing Technicians works under direct supervision with instructions given for all activities. Typical tasks include but are not limited to:
Composite manufacturing:

Essential Functions:
Under direction of Supervision, Working Leader or higher graded Inspector, follow general instructions, drawings, manuals and other specifications, to plan, document and lay out material requirements; witness, verify, document and monitor component and/or engine assembly; determine sequence of operations; and obtain the tools and equipment necessary to meet schedules.
Monitor, witness, document and review the inspection, assembly and testing of turbine engine and space propulsion components, ensuring all requirements are met.
