Job Description:
The International Tax Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing the international tax planning and compliance functions of the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep subject matter expertise in international income tax. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a dedicated team of professionals and successfully navigating through complex tax issues.
Essential Functions:
Develop and implement international tax strategies to optimize global tax positions and manage tax risks.
Ensure compliance with international tax regulations, including the preparation and review of international tax returns and OECD promulgations.
Provide a deep expertise in all international aspects of the U.S. federal and state returns and assist with the preparation of all foreign related forms (e.g., 1118, 5471, 8858, etc.), foreign tax credit calculations, tax basis in foreign subsidiaries, Subpart F income, FDII, GILTI, etc.
Oversee transfer pricing policies and documentation to comply with local and international standards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and business units, to provide tax guidance and support business decisions.
Liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities to address tax issues and maintain strong relationships.
Monitor and interpret changes in international tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the timely and successful completion of tax audits and financial reporting requirements.
Perform technical research and draft tax memorandums to summarize complex international tax issues.
Be a champion for a strong control environment, including adherence to all applicable SOX requirements.
Assist with special projects, such as M&A, as needed. This includes working with outside tax advisors to analyze non-US transactions, model tax costs, estimate the impact on attributes, perform due diligence, and assist with carveout financial statements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience in tax.
CPA license required

The Manufacturing Technician will join an exceptional cross-functional team of engineers and technicians to fabricate components and assemble them into the most advanced solid rocket systems in the world. Aerojet-Rocketdyne is an industry leading supplier of missile components to the government for use in national defense. This is an entry-level position for mixing and processing of energetics for casting.
The position will involve functions such as cleaning and assembling equipment, cleaning tools, parts, and work area and operate machinery. They will record and maintain records for manufactured products. Must work safely while producing a high quality product and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
Works under close supervision and receives detailed instructions, the Manufacturing Technician 1 performs routine and repetitive duties within the manufacturing operations area. Apply general manufacturing knowledge to basic problems to come up with logical answers.
Essential Functions:
50% - Full scale propellant mixing - Prepares materials and performs full-scale mixing for all production programs, confirming acceptable weights prior to releasing the materials to casting operations. The technician will also perform full-scale mixes for new programs/new formulations as they are introduced to the site. The technician is responsible for requisitioning and organizing the materials and processing required for the mix, as well as cleaning and maintaining full scale mix equipment. Technician will perform these duties under the general direction of engineer and the area supervisor, using established, well-defined methods and calculations.
10% - Mathematical - Perform mathematical calculations, such as, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, to create acceptable mixes for casting, and use process data to fill out manufacturing data sheets. These calculations are performed using well-defined methods.
35% - Grinding - The technician will assemble grinders and grind materials for full-scale propellant mixes and weigh material bins to correct weight for propellant mixing. Technician is responsible for disassembly, cleaning, and re-assembly of full-scale grinding equipment.
5% - Other duties as assigned - Such as but not limited to: AP prep for grinding, bowl plugging for mixing Prototype motor casting, development sample preparation, and support of new production initiatives and schedules.
Willing and available to work other shifts or overtime as needed to meet production schedules.
Able to work from elevated platforms, ascend ladders, and transport 35 lbs. repetitively.
Medically cleared to wear a respirator and operate powered industrial vehicle (and obtain company issued license as appropriate).
