Position Description
Serco supports the Navy Personnel Command (NPC) by recruiting the best quality men and women from the diverse population of our country.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will support offices within Navy Personnel Command (NPC) PERS-3 located in Millington, TN. You will be responsible for maintaining and providing complete and accurate personnel records and records-related information to authorized users throughout the Navy and other federal agencies within Navy Personnel Command (NPC) PERS-3 by monitoring and assisting all Navy commands in the correct and accurate recording of all Personnel Operation Tempo (PERSTEMPO).
In this role, you will:
Provide Help Desk services that assist Navy Commands in obtaining and using reports withing the PERSTEMPO report-viewing center
Conduct user training as required
Support the management of the All-Navy PERSTEMPO report that identifies individual accounts and units with expired events
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
U S Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
High School Diploma or equivalent
5 years of experience in Office Management and Clerical Support
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) Proficient in the use of basic office equipment (computers, scanners, copiers, printers)
Additional desired experience and skills:
Customer Service experience ideally with operational fleet commands
Experience in Navy Personnel records and awards Experience in proper handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in accordance with Department of Navy (DON) policies and procedures

Travel Coordinator - San Diego, CA
Serco is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter and detail orientated Travel Coordinator to join our dynamic travel team in our Kearny Mesa (San Diego) office.
In this role, you will:
Arrange travel, flights, hotels and rental vehicles thru a travel agency; per travelers request(s) and expensing all travel reimbursement claims on travelers' behalf.
Support travelling employees with completion of International Travel Requests (ITR) using Serco intranet, OurWorld-NA.
Relies on instructions, manager approvals and follows pre-established Serco and government guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Accounts expense reporting, and adjusting Microsoft excel journal entries.
Assist with the preparation of various account balances analyzes, invoices and reports.
Support travel admin team expensing and reconciling corporate credit card used for airfare, lodging, and rental cars.

Serco is currently seeking an Environmental Laboratory Technician. This is an exciting opportunity that involves laboratory, warehouse and field support for environmental sample matrices, air, water, and soil. The Technician I will assist with the performance of established field and laboratory chemical analyses, perform instrument calibrations and maintenance, and warehouse support.

Our skilled scientists collaborate with EPA staff at their state-of-the-art Laboratory and Applied Science Division in Athens GA. Here you'll be part of the Environmental Service Assistance Team (ESAT) helping the EPA achieve their mission to protect human health and the environment.

In this role, you will :
Assist with metals digestion and organic extractions utilizing EPA methods.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate field instruments.
Prepare reagents and samples to be used in performing field assays.
Demonstrate proper cleaning techniques for work area, instrumentation, and equipment.
Support general laboratory operations and functions, including monitoring and requesting supplies and materials to maintain lab and warehouse inventory.
Track inventory of supplies and reagents to ensure no interruption of work flow.
Drive Government vehicles.
Assist with Field Investigations.
Trend and monitor key performance metrics.
Operate other instrumentation as trained.
Qualifications
To be successful in this roll, you will have :
An Associates of Science Degree and 0 to 2 years experience in science related field.
In some cases where an applicant does not possess a College Degree, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for a High School Diploma and 2 of work experience in a science field.
A Public Trust Certificate from EPA's Personal Security Branch is required for employment.
Eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance and Sponsorship may be considered for specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.
Clearance must be Active before on-boarding.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Demonstrate excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Excellent computer skills and proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to work effectively with multiple disciplines.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Good written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, documentation skills, and attention to detail are essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and work in all weather conditions.
Must be able to work evenings and/or weekends if required.
Must be able to work standing for long periods.
Must be able to work inside a chemical laboratory and handle chemicals.
Must be able to wear all PPE (personal protective equipment).
Additional desired experience and skills:
2 years of experience as an environmental laboratory technician.
Successful applicant will need to have good attention to detail and be able to document all sampling meticulously (training will be provided as to requirements).
Excellent cross-functional team leadership and participation skills.
Knowledge of chemical families and compatibilities.
Environmental training (e.g. 40 or 2 Hour HAZWOPER certification), familiarity with environmental sample collection devices, maintenance, data recording, and processing skills are desirable.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a member of a team.
Strong multi-tasking skills: Must be able to perform operations simultaneously and must be able to switch from task to task upon demand.

In this Resource Protection Analyst role, you will:
Provide technical expertise in the implementation or evaluation of USAFCENT access entry control operations and assist with the protection of property from the dangers of sabotage, espionage, and intrusion.
Participate in access entry control and sensor systems software and hardware implementation, maintenance, testing, and periodic checks.
Assist with identifying performance limits and monitoring concerns; properly documenting outcomes as directed by USAFCENT Force Protection management.
Advise 9th AF /USAFCENT FP on coordination of air base defense, antiterrorism, FP, and physical security support with USCENTCOM, the Air Staff, and host nation forces.
Do physical security site surveys; provide effective and economical recommendations for onsite improvements to the exterior and interior security elements; to include but not limited to, security lighting, intrusion detection and assessment equipment, annunciation and display systems, security communications, or other security measures that protect Government property and personnel.
Be directed to identify, analyze, and resolve broad and complex security concerns.
Staff a 24-hour work center and will be assigned to varying shifts to support 9th AF / USAFCENT operational hours.

Assist in overseeing VICADS robust configuration parameters; alarm point priority assessment, automatic or manual call up policies, automatic pan, tilt, zoom (PTZ) presets upon alarm and intelligent queuing logic for multiple alarms.
Responsible for escorting designated personnel into controlled premises; provide an authorized service for 9 AF (USAFCENT) facilities, construction projects and/or installations during operational hours.

Tests patches and changes in the EIS USSF Laboratory/Data Center prior to application on the live systems.
Applies patches and changes to the SharePoint environments as needed. Provides SharePoint Notification Banners with USSF EIS information as needed; provides technical updates and issues e-mail notifications to the USSF EIS users.
Supports the Tier 2 Service Desk during system-level outages/service interruptions.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 5+ years' experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree requirement (i.e. Associate Degree and 7+ years' experience or High School Diploma and 9+ years' experience).
Must possess a Secret clearance.
DoD IAT Level 2 (e.g. CompTIA Security+) or higher certification is required

Prepare subcontractor and vendor accruals as services/goods are received in accordance with GAAP and internal policies to ensure that the projects cost/commitment is accurately captured and reported internally and externally.
Analyze profit risks and opportunities and advise management on the optimal path forward.
Knowledge of general and corporate business practices, government contracting regulations and principles, and accounting and finance principles. Must be versed in various contract vehicles, i.e., CPAF, CPFF, LOE, FPLOE, FFP, T&M, IDIQs, etc. Preferred knowledge of FAR/DFAR, DCAA compliance and audits.

Answering radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft.

Alerting airport emergency crews and other designated personnel when aircraft are having flight difficulties.

Maintaining and disseminating records of daily operations

Case Development: interaction with field activities for case data, and case entry into the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS)

Case Reconciliation and Closure.
As part of the above FMS case life cycle, project support is provided in the following areas:

Financial monitoring and delivery posting in the Management Information System for International Logistics (MISIL).

Review presentations, briefs, and formal correspondence for NAVSEA review and final approval.
Maintain applicable Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) as directed/required.
Interface with stakeholders to identify, assign, and track action items, leveraging initiatives to benefit submarine sustainment support.
Collect information and provide recommendations to senior decision-makers through well-written documents.
Communicate with various Program Office representatives within NAVSEA, SSP, United Kingdom, contracting entities and other Department of Navy organization in supporting PM concerns.
Coordinate with the technical community and develop white papers and presentations for the Government and the Navy on program status or issues impacting the program.
Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support and assist the Government with technical analyses, inquiries, research, testing, data validation for any matters relating to US/UK submarines.
Provide analysis and metrics for issues that arise in the Program (i.e., late delivery analysis, delay claim analysis, and other availability issues).
Conduct Meeting Administration (generate and distribute agendas, minutes, action items, etc.)
Organize and maintain Program tracking files/tools on program status, actions items and issues.
Support the team in performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Attend meetings and program reviews, provide presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications with foreign country representatives from one of more countries. This may include interfacing with foreign liaison officers located at US Navy and/or contractor facilities.
Provide timely and efficient responses for all urgent tasking.
Ensure program correspondence and deliverables are in accordance with Serco's Quality Assurance Program.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
A Bachelor's degree, plus eight to ten years of relevant work experience.
A current or active DoD Secret security clearance.
Strong customer, interpersonal and organizational level communication (written and verbal).
Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite programs, to include Excel and PowerPoint.
Written communication skills (e.g., drafting program impact statements and Congressional Appeals)
Eight or more years of experience with Navy acquisition and/or In-Service Programs.
Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.
Additional desired experience and skills:
Active-Duty experience in submarine service is a plus.
Recent experience in Team Submarine and/or SSP would be ideal.
