Is an outstanding writer with demonstrated ability to convey complex technical solution information in clear and concise expository prose,
Serves as an integral member of the pursuit team to decompose Government solicitation requirements, formulate the Concept of Operations for the opportunity, gather applicable existing information, and craft new content in a readable, evaluator-focused format,
Is able to work independently or in teams to organize material and complete writing assignments, including -book boss- and subject matter lead duties, within strict deadlines,
Uses initiative to anticipate proposal challenges and contribute to team efforts without managerial prompting,
Engages Business Development, Solution Architects and Technical/Operations Subject Matter Experts to develop and refine responses to government solicitations; Interviews pursuit stakeholders to obtain information, develop appropriate content, and garner approvals
Independently drafts documentation for partners and customers; e.g. Orals deck, White Papers, Brochures, tri-folds, and other materials for a pursuit,
In cooperation with the Proposal Manager, maintains proposal style consistency across the proposal response with quality and adherence to both customer solicitation/information requests and internal Serco standards,
Decomposes the solicitation scope of work by creating a work breakdown structure (WBS) using guidance from DoD MIL-881D,
Documents and continuously maintains approved content within the knowledge library,
Participates in training on the web-based collaborative work platform, proposal style guide, Office 365, and other related topics by PropDevOps,
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in an information technology related field
Five (5) years or more experience in technical writing for Federal/State/Local Government proposals
Ability to create new content in response to emerging requirements while using approved content and approaches.
Strong organization skills for content management and collaboration
Ability to facilitate interpersonal relationships and resolve conflicts tactfully and confidentially
Ability to review and correct material for content, style, and compliance with internal and external standards
Write and speak fluent English
Strong eye for grammatical, spelling, and other editing errors
Excellent oral communication skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Office: with emphasis on MS Word and Excel
Proficiency with Visible Thread is highly desirable
Familiarity in using Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or higher

Sr. Manager, Risk/Business Continuity
Serco-NA has an immediate need for a Senior Manager, Risk & Business Continuity opportunity to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Herndon, VA. We are seeking a strategic hands-on risk leader, with the exceptional ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with all levels of stakeholders, ideally in roles of similar complexity. Our Senior Risk Manager plays a key role in assisting in the design and implementation of Serco's risk culture across the North America division as well as measuring and reporting on its effectiveness. Close links will be established with other corporate functions, including Legal, Controls, Compliance and ERM to ensure an integrated and efficient approach to the management of risk. You will ensure that all Risk Management activity operates efficiently and demonstrates value add by providing continuous improvement to the division. Key requirements for success in this role are the ability to drive change, to influence, motivate and deliver through others and the personal and professional determination to ensure fully integrated Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function across all aspects of division activities.
In this role you will:
Work collaboratively with executive management and the Group ERM function to implement the strategic approach to Risk within the North America division in line with overall policy, and in support of the ERM journey.
Work with Risk Owners at the Executive, Corporate Function and Contracts levels; serve as Risk subject matter expert in support of 120+ contracts
Accountable for the implementation of Risk Policies including integration and embedding of risk management activities across the North America division and across the 3 Lines of Dfense model.
Regularly maintain and track the top risks facing Serco and brief status at Senior Leadership and Board levels
Support Risk Owners and SMEs in their risk assessments and the development of the overall Serco risk register
Maintain and ensure operations of bottoms up risk process and escalation in each Business Unit to enable focus on most critical risks at each level (contract, Business Unit and Executive)
Develop and deliver in person and online Risk training sessions to people across the company charged with Risk Management responsibilities - to include people on our contracts, corporate functions and senior management
Drive excellence in risk reporting methodology and in preparation of reports for divisional management and input into upward reporting.
Set in place a culture of continuous improvement working collaboratively with global Serco divisions (including improvements to business processes and tools)
Lead and drive best practice in risk by integrating learnings and directing change through fellow functional leads, business, sector and risk colleagues.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role you will have;
Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years' experience in related field.
Specific experience in risk in a multinational and/or similarly diverse service organization and a wide and detailed understanding of risk matters
Ability to effectively communicate with and influence colleagues at all levels.
Good understanding of the corporate needs of organizations of similar size and breadth in the areas of risk management, ideally with ERM experience.
Knowledgeable in the impact of risk in a business as well demonstrating a specific understanding of risk process theories/practices, with the ability to deliver operational deployment in practice.
Diplomatic and collaborative manner with the deep technical knowledge and drive to successfully influence change through influence and persuasion.
Experience managing and coordinating teams in a matrix environment and setting, directing and successfully achieving objectives.
Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage multiple streams of works simultaneously.
Proven aptitude to adapt to changing business environment between detail execution and high-level strategic thinking
Ability to work independently, productively, and part of a team
PMP certification preferred.

In this role you will:
Actively work with Call Center Quality and Training teams to monitor call centers performance
Perform statistic reports for quality and client satisfaction

Qualifications

Design surveys for evaluation of Subject Matter Expert (SME) input and user assessments ofperformance
Participate in the T&E Working-level Integrated Product Team (WIPT) and/or Integrated TestTeam for coordination of evaluation plans
Produce Evaluation Plans (metric framework, scenarios/threads, timelines, requirements/T&Ecross-walk), Analysis Plans, Data Requirements, Risk Assessments, Evaluation Reports, Statusreports; provide input to Government T&E products (e.g., Technology Readiness Assessments, Test& Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, T&E Plans & Procedures and TestReadiness Reports)
Design data sampling schemes to optimize the information/resource balance and to controltesting uncertainties
Select, coordinate, and calibrate Instrumentation, collection and data management tools, targets,& facilities
Ensure test readiness including training of test event participants re conduct of the event;equipment readiness, and security, legal, and privacy compliance arrangements
Participate in T&E WIPT and/or Integrated Test Team for coordination of data collection plans
Execute Testing and Data Collection per plan
Produce associated Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports/Briefings, Data Management Plan
Define and provide technical direction and guidance for the Level 1 tasks to the Level 0 andLevel 1 TEs assigned to the task
Recommend draft plans and reports from the Level 1 tasks for approval by the task leader
Work directly with the Government sponsor to coordinate task implementation
Maintain knowledge of current and evolving agency, national, and international standardsapplicable to the system development of interest

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
U.S. Citizenship.
Eight (8) years experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

In this role, you will:
Assist motorists and perform incident management services during assigned shifts.

In this role, you will:
Perform operational and functional inspections, repairs and maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment
Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of powered, non-powered equipment, and vehicles

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
At least 1 - 3 years of related experience on heavy on and off-road equipment (Automotive and/or Diesel training can be substituted for work experience)

Answering radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft.

Issuing air traffic clearances.
Providing advice based on their own observations and information from the National Weather - Service, IFR control facilities, flight service stations, pilots, and other sources.

Transferring control to receiving facilities when aircraft leave their airspace and receiving control of aircraft coming into their airspace.

Alerting airport emergency crews and other designated personnel when aircraft are having flight difficulties.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
A current or active DoD Secret clearance.

Five to eight years of professional coding experience with object-oriented programming languages.

In this role, you will:
Interpret specifications, drawings, blueprints, shop job orders and, process sheets.
Use a variety of ARC and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as foundations, cable collars, cable/pipe/vent hangers, cable tubes penetrations, studs, etc.
Perform related task such as thermal cutting (PLASMA or TORCH) and grinding.
Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Assign work to qualified personnel.
Train new shop personnel on machinery, tools and test equipment required for quality construction of products.
Work onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations in an area that is somewhat uncomfortable due to drafts, noise, temperature variation and the like and with equipment where carelessness would probably result in minor cuts, bruises, muscle strains, serious injury, or death.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will:
A High School Diploma or equivalent and 8-10 years of AIT experience.
Be familiar with NAVSEA, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of electrical repair, fabrication, and installation.
Get respirator qualified and wear proper PPE throughout their work shift.
Be certified in the following process: GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, and TIG.
Have own tools of the trade and able to pass precertification company weld test.

Bernerd Zwahlen has led this team for more than 5 years; he possesses 20 years of experience supporting shipyard modernization; and is a Navy veteran. The Combat Systems Analyst is responsible for monitoring the execution of the Modernization work package and reactivation process; Works with responsible NSA to understand and identify all work that has been accomplished and planned production dates for completion; Serves as a technical advisor to coordinate (via conferences, meetings, correspondence, etc.), the work of a number of organizations engaged in various equipment-related functions such as supply support, maintenance, and repair; and Provides technical data necessary to establish deadlines and phase programs in and out, and to resolve wide-ranging sensitive or potentially difficult issues.
In this role, you will:
Provide CS/C4I waterfront support as required to ensure accuracy of production events/milestones as stated by MSR and Navy field activities.
Review integrated project schedule and provide recommendations to PMS 407.
Provide independent assessment/verification of production schedules/progress of industry and Navy field activities via bi-weekly status reports.
Develop and continually update progress of consolidated master production, test and sea trial schedules.
Assist ship's Commanding Officer in assessing crew training requirements.
Coordinate and implement all technical efforts to support the pre-planning and execution of NAVSEA modernization and reactivation for CG/LSD ship class modernization availabilities. In the Benefits Administrator role you will:
Thorough and comprehensive working knowledge of the particular area of work responsibility assignment.

You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams that have been recognized by the DLA and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.
In this Logistics Analyst III role, you will:
Analyze supply chain processes and architecture and provide recommended strategic-level courses of action for improvement.
Provide change management support.
Apply knowledge of laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to logistics planning and program execution/sustainment.
Provide input into policy changes and facilitate those changes as required.
Develop briefings, documents, and other communications for senior management staff.
Facilitate meetings or conferences for strategic initiatives and improvements.
Apply detailed knowledge and experience with Logistics Commands framework and concept for planning and execution in the following areas:
Strategic Planning
Metrics Development and Management
3PL Management
Demand Forecasting
Allowance Setting
Provide project and change management supportConduct root-cause investigations and conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to develop Courses of Action (COAs) and Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M)
Qualifications
To be successful in this Logistics Analyst III role, you will be required to have:
An active Public Trust and ability to obtain SECRET Level Security Clearance
Minimum of ten to twelve (10-12) years' experience across a broad range of logistical assignments.
5+ Years' experience in a logistics leadership role
Bachelor's degree - Preferably in Operation Management
Certified PMP
Microsoft Office Suite Power User
The ability to travel = 10%
