SUMMARY
This role is responsible for the continuous improvement of ITW Refrigeration's Quality department, ensuring the department is run efficiently and production needs are adequately met and resolved. The Service Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of 3 quality auditors. This role is responsible for the creation and updating of quality work instructions, training documentation for auditors. The quality supervisor is also responsible for reviewing audit data, determining root cause of issues reported and taking corrective action to assure issue will not reoccur.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These are the most significant job duties performed. The size, scope and complexity of assigned duties and responsibilities are dependent on the level and experience of the incumbent. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each assigned essential duty satisfactorily. Other responsibilities or special projects not specifically listed below may also be assigned.
Develop and maintain critical to quality work instruction documents, and use generic work instructions that are developed and maintained by operations to:
Perform audits on production lines using written work instructions.
Have documents updated as needed to improve production processes.
Development and Maintain calibration schedules for equipment.
Direct audit activities, review WIP and FPA data and take corrective action to continuously improve quality of the product
Support production leads and operators for interpretation and methods following set standards
Evaluate and recommend alternative auditing procedures for continuous improvement
Provide technical support for production and service departments to validate field return units.
Testing of nonconformance parts and be responsible to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for 3 quality auditors including training, development, and supervision.
Establish priorities and ensure maximum usage of assigned resources.

Minimum 5 years' experience in Manufacturing Industry.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access , Word, PowerPoint, PowerBi)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Directs and coordinates all phases of supply chain activities and maintains direct responsibility for the purchasing, production planning, and shipping/receiving departments. Responsibilities:
Formulates and develops long range goals and objectives for the materials function of the plant. Directs and coordinates activities to attain these goals and objectives.
Owns implementation and maintenance of the plant -MRD- program, which seeks to plan production and procure materials based on a -pull- system and maintenance of target material & finished good inventory levels. Partners with Quality team to ensure proper communication of technical requirements via purchase orders to supply base, in accordance with AS9100 requirements for MIL/Aero products.
Minimizes on-hand inventory and develops and deploys strategies to minimize -slow- and -obsolete- inventory.
Design & implement inventory cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy & to eliminate the long-term need for an annual inventory count.
Own day-to-day materials procurement for the Des Plaines plant & planning of production of -made to order- products through team
Partner with Strategic Sourcing to establish supplier KanBan / stocking programs in support of MRD.
Own the improvement and stabilization of the plant and supplier on time delivery metric
Reviews analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives.
Plans, organizes, supervises, and directs the work of Materials Department personnel and controls activities related to the logistics functions of the Plant.
Directs the plant's purchasing function and supply base through supplier evaluation and develops purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.
Plans and organizes all arriving and departing freight providers through carrier evaluation, negotiation and selection and develops techniques to reduce freight expenditures, solve problems, and reduce claims.
Oversees material flow throughout the plant.
Maintains import/export and customs compliance procedures and documentation.
Engages in material planning by analyzing market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability. Develops and provides the plans for managing inventory levels and inventory reduction.
Plans and provides procedures for disposal of surplus materials and scrap handling.
Directs and coordinates clerical and office procedures and practices, as well as shipping and handling practices. Studies inventory accuracy and value, studies work flow, and sequence of operations, determining any need for change and determining the need for new or improved equipment or procedures.
Writes and revises procedures for activities that apply to or interact with the materials area.
Bachelor's Degree required.
5+ years of professional experience in purchasing with in-depth knowledge of KanBan, JIT, Vendor Managed Inventory, demand flow technology, and supplier agreements.
On-going supervisory/management training.
Outstanding organizational skills and experience with managing multiple deadlines at once.
Proficient in communicating information to individuals and groups in both written and presentation form
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, and the use of the materials portion of J.D. Edward's ERP system.
Strong desire to work in a team made up of a cross functional group of individuals.

BASIC DESCRIPTION:
This person will be responsible for assembling welding machines for the Power Systems Division.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
An assembler's primary job tasks include but are not limited to engine preparation, base assembly, front panel subassembly, wiring, testing, and shipping. Employee will be required to rotate between primary job tasks or assist with job tasks as needed. Must have an understanding ITW operating principles and apply them to the manufacturing area. The individual must be a self-starter, a team player, and be quality conscious with concern for the customer's needs and on-time delivery. This person will also be responsible for training others.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred. Knowledge of engine drive products and the ability to read and understand circuit and wiring diagrams is preferred. Knowledge of MRD and material ordering procedures is required. The individual must be a self-starter, a team player, and be quality conscious with concern for the customer's needs and on-time delivery. This person will also be responsible for training others. The successful candidate will be committed to teamwork and to the team goals, with a positive attitude who has made the choice to be personally accountable. Cross training in all areas of manufacturing is required. Must be willing to work flexible shifts during peak production times. The selected individual must be willing to work overtime as required (12 hrs/day and/or Saturdays & Sundays)

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician - Deltar Fasteners will report to the Maintenance Supervisor - Deltar Fasteners and will be responsible to perform duties to install, maintain, modify, and repair a wide variety of injection molding machines, assembly, other automated equipment and perform building maintenance as required.
Position will work 12-hour shifts once training is complete. Shift rotation will be 6:45am-7:00pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work with blueprints, schematics, SOP's and machine manuals
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of molding and automated machinery using available technology
Will be required to order parts.
Operate drill press, grinder, welding, and other maintenance equipment to fabricate or repair parts
Ability to troubleshoot/diagnose Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Working knowledge of programming of PLCs, a plus
Perform troubleshooting on mechanical and pneumatic powered, electronically controlled robotic systems
Ability to use precision measuring equipment and electrical testing instruments associated with a manufacturing setting
Perform routine preventative maintenance functions per schedule

SUMMARY
Operates power press to trim, punch, shape, notch, draw, or crimp metal by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assembles, installs, and aligns dies in press according to specifications.
Adjusts ram stroke to specified height as needed.
Positions work piece against fixtures or stops on machine bed or on die.
Starts press and observes operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
Completes basic machine troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
Inspects work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjusts machine to correct errors. Isolates non-conforming product.
Cleans and lubricates machines and maintains work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
Positions and clamps feed guide.
Thread metal strip from payout reel through pinch rollers or loads hopper or conveyor with metal blanks.
Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment at all times.
Label, scan, and move product per specifications.
Completes all paperwork as required Performance to comply with all company Procedures, Policies, Work Instructions, knowledge of internal and external requirements as well as TS16949, ISO 17025, OSHAS 18001 requirements.
Assist in making improvements to the overall business using ITW operating principles.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six to twelve months related experience and/or training is preferred.

Position Summary:
To assure the quality of the -in process- product meets the specifications of the blueprint, per the customer standards. This position should evolve into a full-time machine operator position.
Essential Functions:
Perform quality checks and document (where applicable), using simple gages, precision measuring devices and visual inspection.
Perform safety checks to ensure safety devices are on and in working order (guarding and all safety equipment). Use proper Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
Manually handle parts from work-in-process containers to shipping containers. Move containers as required using pallet jacks and/or fork trucks.
Prepare and maintain accurate records (route sheets and count sheets).
Clean equipment and keep work area neat and orderly.
Read and understand blueprints.
To work in any other area of the plant by the request of your supervisor.

The Welder is responsible for operating welding equipment to assemble components. The job can involve operating robotic welding equipment, requiring the associate to load and unload parts from an alignment fixture. The associate will be cross trained and will rotate with others in the department on a regular basis to ensure coverage for vacation or other leave. The associate must be willing to work in other areas of the Weld and Metal Fabrication department when necessary to meet production demands.
The job requires a good understanding of how to set up and operate robotic and manual welding equipment, and to inspect parts for dimensional accuracy using measuring tools. Orders of large quantities are generally processed at the robotic welding workstations, where the associate will load and unload parts from a fixture. Orders of smaller quantities or more complex assemblies are assembled using manual welding methods, requiring the associate to follow drawings for layout and assembly. The Welder will operate pneumatic grinding hand tools to smooth and polish the surface after welding.
This position will learn all tasks of the Welding area including, but not limited to, setup & operation of robotic welders, setup for manual welding, dimensional inspection, hand grinding, and disposition of materials. The associate must be a team player, self-starter, safety conscious, have good communication skills. The individual must be quality conscious and concerned with customer's needs and on time delivery. A Welding associate may be required to work overtime and work in other areas of the business unit as dictated by their workload.
Qualified associate must have a minimum of 1-2 years welding experience
Associate must have a strong background in reading blueprints, measurement and inspection tools, and capable of completing their own setups.
Required to pass welding certification for manual and robotic operation prior to assignment of production responsibilities (within 90 days).

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the daily administration of National Accounts to ensure that customer requirements are met within the parameters of agreed contracts and processes. This includes setting up accounts, maintaining scale profiles for each customer site, receiving repair calls, dispatching to distributors, problem solving all account issues for both distributor and end customer. The National Accounts Administrator is the Primary contact and is responsible for complete customer follow-up and general order administration. Supports a customer base that generates about $5m to $15m of annual sales revenue for the business.
Key Duties:
Provide efficient and effective customer service. Must make independently based, qualitative decisions that meet the overall policies of Avery Weigh-Tronix
Oversee execution of national service contracts or agreements including but not limited to evaluating the language of the contacts/agreements we negotiate, execute surveys and maintain information regarding service capabilities, locations and charges of the Avery Weigh-Tronix distributor and dealer network; work out various rates/zones charges based on the data gathered; maintain competitive information.
Handles contract and service analysis:
Review national service contracts for customer-based requirements and conformance to AWTX management guidelines
Prepare reporting for quarterly, semi-annual, and annual review with customer.
Receives, processes, investigates, and resolves all incoming inquiries from Dealers/Distributors, Field Sales, and end users of business products or services.
Maintain positive relationship with distributors, respond appropriately to all requests from distributors and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner. Has direct contact with all levels internally & externally, including owners and executives of major accounts.
Review and authorize certain transactions that will significantly impact future business results.
Troubleshooting for existing customers where necessary.
Auditing and tracking duties including but not limited to review revenues for contracts, accordingly, prepares distributor payment sheets, create internal billing sheets as necessary
Work closely with National Accounts Sales for quality and customer service delivery
Provides technical consultation and sales advice to the caller
Works with and provides input to the Service Manager, Customer Account Manager, Product Manager, and Applications Specialist on product, service and competitive issues
Maintain and update various accounts
Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
Back up dispatch responsibilities as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Abilities: Must be able to multi-task on a daily basis; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products; possess a working knowledge of modern office practices and procedures; ability to read maps and find locations; ability to work under tight deadlines. Education: High School degree or equivalent. General accounting and knowledge of business administration preferred. Associates degree or equivalent work experience required.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Strong listening skills.
Strong PC skills with intermediate proficiency in MS Office programs.
Travel primarily to North American customers, vendors, and trade shows with occasional travel to Juarez, Mexico
