Brooks Instrument, a global manufacturer of flow and pressure measurement and control products for critical applications, and a division of ITW (A Fortune 200 Company) is seeking candidates for an Process L ead (Materials Group) . This position will be based out of our headquarters location at Hatfield, PA (Suburban Philadelphia). Brooks maintains manufacturing, sales, and service center facilities around the world, and our products are used in laboratory and process applications in end markets such as: life sciences, petro-chemicals, semiconductor, analytical instrumentation, nuclear, and solar cells.
Basic Function
Perform in a working leadership role in the Materials Department focused on the Material Attendants group while supporting Shipping/Receiving as needed. Ensure materials move through the facility on-time and accurately in a continuous improvement environment. Support Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) metrics to include, but not limited to: On-Time-Delivery (OTD), Months on Hand (MOH) Inventory Management, and Daily Shipping Goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Promote and develop an environment of continuous improvement within the department.
Lead continuous improvement events (5S and Toolbox projects).
Communicate and set work priorities for the Team.
Train and develop team members for increased flexibility in the workforce.
Assist supervisor in tracking Lean improvements.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethic codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the department
Assure materials are moved to production lines on time and the correct transactions are performed in ERP system.
Investigate root cause and execute corrective actions for inventory discrepancies and transactional errors.
Understand all Shipping, Receiving, and Material Attendant procedures. Be prepared to act as a subject matter expert and problem solve as needed.
Promote safe practices in the department
Follows all Brooks attendance and safety procedures.
Ability to get along with others in a team environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required.
PC skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook required.
Must have excellent communication and organization skills.
5 years experience in multiple phases of receiving, inventory control, shipping and material transactions preferred.
Experience with AS400/MAPICS ERP System preferred.

Basic Function
Responsible for leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives with Brooks. Lead continuous improvement (ITW toolbox) projects, coach and train employees on the tools, lead the global and site-level continuous improvement steering committees and be an active participant in shop floor improvement activities, such as the Gemba process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional project teams to implement continuous improvement activities.
Deliver practical, hands-on training to company personnel at all levels in various ITW toolbox and continuous improvement concepts, tools and methods.
Lead the global and site-level continuous improvement project steering committees. Work with project leaders to communicate project scope, status and results to Brooks' upper management. Identify and escalate project roadblocks, as necessary.
Ensure sustained improvement by creating documents, such work instructions, process maps and standard work document.
Directly involved in supporting process improvements and changes by providing technical support in the form of process evaluations, time studies, layout designs, etc.
Apply a structured problem solving mechanism, such as 8D or 5-why analysis to business problems, driving to root causes and ensure corrective actions are robust.
Interface with continuous improvement engineers at other Brooks and ITW locations to share best practices and coordinate project efforts.
Publish a monthly Tool Box Gazette to recognize project teams for their efforts and communicate success stories to the organization.
Must be able to work effectively with and communicate well with employees at all levels of the company.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering.
3-5 years experience in manufacturing preferred.
Previous experience with lean manufacturing/continuous improvement implementation.
Excellent analytical skills. Ability to manipulate and summarize data using Microsoft Excel.
Experience with leading projects and/or functional areas.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Visio.

You will work with customers to electrically/mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment to include cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking and refrigeration.
You will typically leave from home each morning and work with minimal direct supervision at customer sites.
You will meet or surpass weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
What you'll bring to the table:
An accredited High School Diploma or GED and 2-4 years of similar electrical/mechanical experience
Refrigeration Experience Preferred but not required
You must have a valid Driver's License and ability to drive multiple hours daily
You should be able to work Overtime and On-Call as required

Key Responsibilities:
The Press Tool and Die Maker develops tooling requirements based on production needs and provides component design direction and support for current and potential projects/programs involving complex tolerances. Designs, reviews, tests, and maintains manufacturing processes. Investigates and resolves manufacturing-related issues. Develops, constructs, and alters a wide variety of jigs, fixtures, and gauges. Sharing of knowledge and partnering with other tool makers to train apprentices.
The successful candidate will be able to analyze and understand specifications and tolerances; set up and operate machine tools; study blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualize end-product. Works as a team and independently, handling projects deemed necessary.
Working Requirements:

Tends to multiple heat treat furnace machines on the front and/or lower end, to harden the manufactured product to specifications on production basis by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
. Ability to run both sides of Heat Treat when needed
. Maneuver barrels with metal product manually or using barrel dollies and barrel dumpsters. Secures barrels and loads automatic feeding device.
. Weighing totes and creating and scanning labels.
. Keep barrels and totes free of parts, foreign material and oil
. Starts machine, engages feed and keeps probes clean to maintain an even consistent product load on furnace hearth tray and observes operation.
. Maintain machine controls and guides to consistently adjust machine to remain in compliance with product specifications.
. Obtains samples and completes testing, such as hardness, soap concentration (upper), light oil concentration and titration (lower), as specified.
. Knowledge of chemical inventory.
. Replace or repair worn machine accessories such as tightening bolts, replacing phos straps, swapping motors, changing steam coils as well as assisting maintenance when needed.
. Maintains process documentation consistently and accurately.
. Perform or assist in the Salt reclaim process.
. Daily 5S duties and LPA completion.
. Adjusts flow of chemicals to machine reservoir and turns valve to start flow of soaps, phos and light oil.

SUMMARY
Applies electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical control equipment and circuitry by performing the following duties:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembles and tests experimental motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids, and other electrical equipment and components.
Modifies electrical prototypes to correct functional deviations under the direction of an Electrical Engineer.
Diagnoses cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventive and corrective maintenance action.
Works with production equipment performing change-overs and adjusting machines to ensure proper operation of equipment.
Develops wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion; directs personnel performing routine installation and maintenance duties.
Plans, directs, and records periodic electrical testing and recommends or initiates modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.
Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment at all times.
Participates and supports the Company's 5S program
Performance to comply with all company Procedures, Policies, Work Instructions, knowledge of internal and external requirements as well as TS16949 requirements.
OTHER DUTIES
Performs routine and preventative maintenance on building equipment. Needs to be familiar with motors, conveyors, pulleys, filling and packaging lines in order to troubleshoot issues on equipment.
May perform electrical, mechanical, welding, plumbing and carpentry duties as needed for the facility.
Reads and interprets drawings and schematics to locate problem areas and suggests methods for corrective action.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.

The Welding Segment at Miller Electric (an ITW Welding Company) is expanding software development efforts to provide increased customer satisfaction in several areas of our products. We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of Software Engineer focused on developing software in support of Product Development. Custom embedded software is utilized to provide enhanced welding capability, user friendly machine interfaces, and extensive communication both internal to the welding system and external to customers.
This position will require an individual with a foundation of embedded software and a proven record of accomplishments working with teams as a contributor and collaborator. The right candidate will learn the Miller welding product families, become knowledgeable in key metrics of welding, and help create innovative software solutions to help satisfy Miller customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Primary responsibilities include embedded software design, development, and test.
In addition to collaborating with other software engineers, this individual will effectively work with power electronics engineers, welding engineers, project managers, product managers and customers.
Manage software design work through Miller processes, procedures, tool chains and qualification testing.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and project deliverables. This includes following coding standards, meeting documentation requirements and enabling unit level software testing
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or related degree required.
Ability to work on multiple tasks independently to complete jobs on time with the right emphasis on priorities.
Must be a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and apply new knowledge.
Proficiency in programming applications in C and C++ Proficiency with IDE, source code control, and design modeling / UML tools.
Experience in numerous embedded controls (e.g. PID control loops, motor control, digital filters, state machines, low-level peripheral drivers, etc.)
Ideal Qualifications:
Three (3) or more years of experience with demonstrated credibility and track record in embedded programming, to specify, architect, design, code, test, troubleshoot and support embedded applications in a team environment.
Familiarity with Object-oriented analysis and design
Experience with Agile or Scrum software development process in a team environment
Experience with embedded RTOS, state machines, schedulers and interrupt driven coding.
Familiarity with troubleshooting PCBA related hardware technology (i.e. reading electrical schematics and using multimeters and oscilloscopes)
Familiarity with one or more industrial/serial communications/protocols (CAN, RS485/serial, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
Familiarity with software development processes and tools such as requirements management, software architecture, configuration management, software testing, task/issue/defect tracking and review.

BASIC DESCRIPTION:
This person will be responsible for assembling welding machines for the Power Systems Division.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
An assembler's primary job tasks include but are not limited to engine preparation, base assembly, front panel subassembly, wiring, testing, and shipping. Employee will be required to rotate between primary job tasks or assist with job tasks as needed. Must have an understanding ITW operating principles and apply them to the manufacturing area. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The individual must be a self-starter, a team player, and be quality conscious with concern for the customer's needs and on-time delivery. This person will also be responsible for training others. The successful candidate will be committed to teamwork and to the team goals, with a positive attitude who has made the choice to be personally accountable. Cross training in all areas of manufacturing is required. Must be willing to work flexible shifts during peak production times. The selected individual must be willing to work overtime as required (12 hrs/day and/or Saturdays & Sundays)

The Senior Marketing Specialist will drive the analysis, development, and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve profitable revenue growth. Essential Functions:

Work within JDE to provide financial support and reporting

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, business administration or related field.
CMA certification preferred

Primary Objective:
Responsibilities include assisting management in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. General accounting, Accruals, Inventory, Fixed Assets and Sales and Use Tax Compliance. This position is a hands-on position with responsibilities ranging from transactional detail to analyzing results.
Major Areas of Accountability:
Responsibilities include assisting management in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. General accounting, Accruals, Inventory, Fixed Assets and Sales and Use Tax Compliance. This position is a hands-on position with responsibilities ranging from transactional detail to analyzing results.
Assist with the maintenance and improvement of the internal control environment including general adherence and knowledge of SOX controls and external audit procedures, as applicable. Ensures daily management activities are conducted in compliance with internal and external control requirements.
Utilize the ITW Toolbox and 80/20 philosophy to continuously analyze processes and systems to reduce complexity throughout the business. Lead projects to map processes within the finance and accounting department, simplify wherever possible; embrace and lead the simplification efforts through use of the ITW toolbox.
Coordinate timely and accurate month end close with staff; review reconciliations of balance sheet accounts; oversee fixed asset accounting; analyze month end results.
Oversee coordination of annual physical inventory; review obsolete inventory analysis; review standards maintenance.
Review, enforce and enhance policies and procedures.
Responsible for the on-going management and development of assigned employees. Hires, manages, and develops a skilled staff and work environment to meet objectives.
Various other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: B.A. degree in accounting
Experience: Eight years of increasingly complex public and/or private experience in accounting.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: CPA or MBA
Experience:
Background in cost accounting
Major ERP experience (i.e. SAP)
Experience with current information technology in financial applications, both enterprise and PC based.
Effective time management and detail oriented. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to speak and coordinate with individuals across multiple functions within the MTS business segments.
