As a Digital Business Analyst Professional, you may work with the Agile delivery team and stakeholders to execute digital initiatives enabling business imperatives.

Basic qualifications:
Currently attending or recently graduated from a 4-year accredited university/college with a minimum bachelor's degree in marketing analytics, digital marketing, computer science, data analytics, data visualization or related program
Minimum cumulative GPA requirement 3.0/ 4.0 (no rounding)
Graduation date between April 2023 through June 2024
Must be able/willing to relocate to work location

This position leads a team that provides Contract Administration for non-sales sales related Government Contracts. In this capacity the role will act on behalf of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Director of the Office of the CTO. Responsibilities include supporting the design, implementation, and management of Caterpillar's Enterprise Government Contracts Compliance program as well as processes and tools for operational success. This position functions as a clearinghouse for non-product-sales-related government contracts activity and assists business units in understanding government contracting requirements. Responsibilities also include providing trusted advice on government contracts issues, reinforcing Caterpillar's values, ethical principles, and associated behaviors, and leading efforts to strengthen government contracts processes across the enterprise.

As the Engineering Project Team Leader for Paving Products Automation and Autonomy, you will lead take a leadership role in the autonomation journey for paving products. You will collaborate across the enterprise, working with partners in other divisions, to get our paving products on the leading edge of autonomy. You will deliver Automation & Autonomy systems that increase OPACC for Caterpillar Paving Products. You will develop requirements, critical components, complex systems, and lead multiple New Technology Introduction (NTI) projects. Act as Engineering Project Team Lead for Automation & Autonomy systems, delivering systems for Technology NTI and machine New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
Define Voice of the Customer (VOC)/Voice of the Regulation (VOR)/Voice of the Business (VOB) scope and requirements for Automation & Autonomy systems NTI and Machine NPI.
Collaborate with NPI to define Automation & Autonomy systems Multi-Generational Product Planning (MGPP) for NTI and Machine NPI.
Deliver Automation & Autonomy systems on time, at cost, meeting performance requirements and specs, and meeting quality targets for Technology NTI and machine NPI programs
Lead teams in the design of new products, processes, components, and systems.

Drive commonality of components, software architecture, systems and functionality for Automation & Autonomy systems across Paving and Earthmoving machine segments.

Information Technology Interns at Caterpillar perform the same challenging work assignments as our new full-time hires. We work with our teams to ensure that every intern gains the appropriate professional and personal growth necessary to be successful in a corporate environment. This position is a great way to gain hands-on experience by supporting IT operations at a world-leading manufacturing company. Summer 2023 interns will work 40 hours a week from May 13, 2024, to August 2, 2024.

Job Description:
L5 Power System Simulation team of the Integrated Components & Solutions (ICS) division is seeking a Performance Simulation Engineer to support product and Virtual Product Development (VPD) technology development. Your primary responsibility may include applications of machine system simulations to influence early product concepts and design decisions to improve the existing products by resolving performance issues and to develop or improve simulation related processes and technologies.
What you will do:
Integrates machine controls and plant models of components and subsystems into a powertrain system model and executes performance studies of L5 power system (the L5 power system may include subsystems like engine/battery, transmission/e-drivetrain, lower powertrain, hydraulic and thermal system) using Dynasty (or equivalent software like GT Suite or AMESim) and Matlab/Simulink.
Involvement in machine system concept performance simulation to influence early product concepts and control software design decisions, to improve the existing products by resolving performance issues and to develop or improve simulation related processes and technologies.
Analyze the results and assess machine performance (including fuel/energy consumption and productivity) and reliability.
Assess and suggest improvements for power system design, including hardware selection and control algorithms in machine controls or operator controls.
Compare analysis results to measured data from actual machines to validate the results.
Model in the Loop (MIL) and Software in the Loop (SIL) methods are commonly used for daily work. Interfacing to software libraries in Git is required.
Develop scripts in Matlab or Python to automate common tasks.
Perform needs analysis and initiate ideas; evaluate new controls, processes or systems; communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units; contribute to the design of new products and processes; support other candidates, managers, marketing personnel, customers and suppliers.
