The Client Manager is a lead role in our CAT Parts Order Management responsible for managing the day-to-day logistics services agreement with BCP along with leading the CAT Parts global direct-ship and Dealer Parts Inventory Sharing programs. The Client Manager will lead a global team of supply chain professionals located in the United States, Brazil, and India; who are responsible for the day-to-day supply chain functions for BCP work tools, all direct-ship programs, while also administering the Dealer Parts Inventory Sharing program.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for engaging, training, developing and mentoring all personnel issues and performance evaluation of subordinates
Monitor and manage key performance criteria
Accountable for performance of the BCP Work Tools vendor, Direct-Ship Business Process, and Dealer Parts Inventory Sharing Business (DPISB)
Participates on behalf of and commits Caterpillar in direct negotiations
Understanding competition, pricing position, and value selling of the Caterpillar Parts Network
Maintain coverage of key customers and achievement of annual business plan
Understand, document and communicate customer requirements, business models, competitive landscape and other market intelligence to ensure awareness of customer needs
Work to identify market growth opportunities, new markets, and strategic partnerships to grow the business revenue and OPACC
Improvement of Customer/Dealer/Employee/Company satisfaction
Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
15 (plus) years of progressively responsible job-related engineering experience
Previous experience with at least one of the following: Material Control, Purchasing, Parts Distribution, and/or Inventory Control
Previous 6 Sigma and/or Caterpillar Production System (CPS) experience
Previous supervisory experience
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
The ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time

The Salesforce Security Architect will deliver security, governance, and salesforce administration expertise for our enterprise. The Salesforce Security and Governance team is an innovative and collaborative team that works to protect Caterpillar's intellectual property and information across a global enterprise environment. This role will develop strategy, roadmap, and execution for our Salesforce Security program. This position as the technical leader of a team, will assist with discovering, assessing, and addressing new security challenges facing the organization across several Salesforce implementations.
JOB DUTIES:
This architect position leads the technical aspect of the team that coordinates and implements Salesforce security risk assessments providing consulting services to define, design, develop, implement, and maintain security processes, technologies, and systems. The position monitors security risks and must be aware of security trends to deliver appropriate risk mitigation and proactive auditing.
Performs architectural and engineering of security capabilities within Salesforce environments.
Utilizes and develop standards, practices, processes, audits, playbooks, accelerators, and documentation to establish, manage, and report adherence to the program.
Partners to build, operate, and remediate continuous control assessments within Salesforce platform.
Creates structure from ambiguity through the creation of process and procedures. Then train other team members to execute.
Acts as a subject matter expert on the implementation and capabilities of existing security controls for Salesforce.
Works closely with Salesforce teams to ensure security initiatives are in line with all other key initiatives that may have interdependencies.
Anticipates and identifies security risks, threats and vulnerabilities advising stakeholders accordingly with reliable, timely, and complete information while designing and implementing strategies to mitigate and minimize incidents impacting Salesforce.
Analyzes, advises, and evaluates security configurations to protect Salesforce environment from unauthorized disclosure or misuse.
Develops collaborative relationships and provides expertise, technical guidance, and training to the Caterpillar Salesforce community.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field required

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused environment to clean and detail engine components
May be required to use an overhead hoist to move large components
May require loading and unloading parts from washer
May perform material handling according to production schedules

Work assignments are project in nature and are accountable for cost estimating, project management, and design criteria for their projects as well as the specifications for proper installation and equipment choices. Maintains standards and specifications, recommends changes to resolve design and construction problems, and write periodic reports on the progress of the project as well as tracking the expense versus the budget for the project.

Collects delinquent active contracts through telephone contact and field visits.
Authorizes and conducts equipment repossessions, which includes authorizing legal correspondence and arranging for transportation and safe storage of the units.

Develops and nurtures a strong working relationship with dealers, Territory Managers and customers in an assigned portfolio.

Prepares their individual regular or legal collection past due reports and statistics for submission to management weekly or as requested by management.
May provide timely reporting of repossessed assets or accounts being referred for legal action to other business units as required, including Asset Management and Legal.
May provide status and historical reporting to Customer Accounts staff and management on collection activities and accounts placed for repossession within the department.
Reviews accounts that have been identified as non-collectable to establish deficiency amounts and determine the most appropriate and cost-effective means by which to pursue outstanding accounts balances.
Analyzes the ability to collect on recovery accounts, collects deficiency balances and coordinates recovery efforts through collection agencies.
Collects sale proceeds on private sales.

Prepares standardized transmittal forms for transfer of accounts to legal status.

Based upon an analysis of accounts and customer assets, makes recommendation regarding the legal strategy for pursuing outstanding account balances.
Coordinates with the Legal Department to provide information needed to issue judgments and garnishments and pursue litigation.
Performs equipment audits on special accounts and authorizes and evaluates equipment inspections as needed.
Monitors payments received from legal accounts and takes appropriate collection action when a delinquency has been identified.
Monitors suspense payment balances originating from legal accounts.
Performs buyout calculations on legal accounts.
Prepares periodic status reports, summaries, statistics, results and historical reporting to Customer Accounts staff and management on repossession, recovery or legal activities on accounts.

This position is for a certification engineer with responsibility for >7.2L Marine applications (IPSD-L and LPSD products). The candidate will interface with many organizations within Caterpillar, including product application, engine engineering, engine test, as well as outside regulatory agencies to execute certification activities.
