The DITDP provides program participants with the opportunity to advance their technical and leadership skills through challenging assignments across multiple areas of the business. Each DITDP participant has a unique program experience and will work on different teams in varied worksites over a three-year period, with assignments lasting from 6 to 12 months. This allows program participants to diversify their technical skills and build their professional network.
In addition, the DITDP allows participants to learn from Caterpillar technical leaders and experts in a variety of team dynamics. DITDP participants absorb, in just a few years, what often takes a decade for young professionals to experience.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Lubricate at regular intervals machine tools, motors and any other equipment requiring lubrication in an assigned area

Drain, clean and refill oil reservoirs on machines and equipment

Complete quality checks by following a control points plan that establish quality control at the cell level. Responsible for final quality of product to customer. Must be able to confirm the part dimensional quality by gauging the part, comparing it to the print, and recording the information as required. Responsible for all machine and robot setups, tooling and fixture alignments. Must have strong knowledge of the following: CNC operations of horizontal machining centers, CNC turning centers, saws, and robotics. Must be able to read and understand programming code for equipment and how to write recipes for robotic cells. Must have a good operating knowledge of programming to extend the life of tooling. Must be able to troubleshoot problems that arise during setups.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to provide administrative/operational support throughout the recruitment and onboarding lifecycle in accordance with the recruiting guidelines, policies and regulatory requirements for the applicable region and business. Selected candidates will process and coordinate recruiting and staffing programs and activities related to the attraction, selection, hiring and onboarding of talent into Caterpillar. The location for the position must be local to a Construction Industries production facility in North Carolina (either Clayton, NC or Sanford, NC).
Job Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Provide administrative assistance to the recruiting team including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews and necessary screening appointments, generating required letters and documentation for prospective candidates, etc.
Typical activities for the role could include but are not limited to:
Assist in the benchmarking with industry competitors and development of hiring policy documentation.
Assist and coordinate recruiting activities among assigned Hiring Managers and Recruiters.
Prescreen resumes sourced against existing job requisitions at the direction of recruiters.
Assist in interview scheduling with the hiring managers or administrative assistants.
Schedule interviews with the prospective candidates.
Send interview information to candidates and hiring managers.
Oversee/coordinate offer letters, contracts roll-out process, background/reference check process, security clearances and other pre-hire/transfer activities.
Assist in execution of all pre-hire activities including collection of documents.
Onboarding preparation.
Prepare, track, and report on metrics and measurements to help recruitment leadership.

Basic Qualifications:
At least one year of recruitment/human resources/marketing job related experience
Ability to multi-task effectively in a matrixed team, high attention to detail, and the ability to think critically
Intermediate to expert knowledge of working with web/computer-based applications (Microsoft Office) required to perform the tasks in recruitment related applications.
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel

Job Description:
This is a 3-4-year competency-based Maintenance Technician Development program. This program has been developed to meet the needs for qualified Maintenance Technicians in the Lafayette, IN facility, through on-the-job training and an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) study program. The trainee will be assigned to a variety of training stations with specific learning activities throughout the facility that pertain to their skill path, and will rotate between first, second and third shifts as needed to complete learning requirements. Upon successful completion of the program, the trainee will be given the opportunity to become a level 6 Maintenance Technician within Facilities Engineering.
The applicant must be willing to take a variety of written and hands-on assessments and complete required learning assignments with subject study and specific homework assignments on their own time. The applicant will also be required to work all shifts IE: first, second & third shifts, work at heights, climb ladders, work underground, and in confined spaces. Caterpillar is seeking a Automation Technology Strategist to help lead the development of technology products for the mining industry focusing on guidance and control products. This role will serve as the Product Architect for the mining Detect, Terrain, Fleet, and Command (L8) product lines. The Product Architect's primary accountability will be to define product roadmaps and product architectures that enable technology product portfolio growth, align with emerging technologies and industry trends, and support Caterpillar machine market and product strategies. The roadmaps shall define incremental product enhancements, aligned with planned NPI cycles and the long term business plan, that enable the migration of the current technology product lines into a comprehensive, differentiated next generation product portfolio. Roadmaps will focus on a zero to five year time frame and apply to both surface and underground mining applications.
The Product Architect will be accountable to collaborate with customers, internal partners, machine product groups, and external partners and suppliers to identify solutions and define site level product requirements. The architect will cascade site product requirements to subsystem/component levels requirements and gain alignment with internal and external partners on subsystem/component strategies. The Product Architect will also work with machine product groups to align technology product strategies with machine product strategies and ensure machine products are built technology ready.
