Reporting to the Director of Project Management, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating project activities. The FinTech Assets Administrator reports to the Director of Business Analytics - Lending (DBAL), and is primarily responsible for the business relationship between Chartway and its FinTech and Participation partners. FinTech Responsibilities:

  • Independently manages the implementation of new FinTech relationships.

Participation Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the sale or purchase of assets. This includes working with counter parties (as necessary) brokers, legal and internal teams in both purchase and sale.

  • Manage third-party due diligence of potential opportunities in purchases and hosting potential counter parties in a participation sale.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day relationship with our participation partners. Ensuring that any issues or questions arising from either Chartway or a participation partner is addressed in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Provides detailed review of loan files and the associated economics of trades - both purchases and sales.

As a Financial Solutions Representative I, general responsibilities include:

  • Taking inbound calls from members and non-members for general servicing inquiries for checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and loan products

  • Exercising problem solving skills and promote benefits to retain members

  • Update member and account information as needed

  • Maintaining Member Solutions Center service levels by handling a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment

  • Consistently and effectively cross-selling products and services offered by Chartway

  • Communicate using extraordinary soft skills during complex conversations to deliver an outstanding member experience

  • Handle complex conversations and situations professionally to create an outstanding member experience on every call

Qualifications include a High School education or equivalent GED, and one year customer service preferably in a call center environment. Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.

The Credit Officer is responsible to the Consumer Loan Underwriting Manager for the consumer lending decision-making process.

Responsible andAccountable for:

  • Ensures compliance with all Federal and State regulations and Credit Union policies regarding credit granting.

  • Responsible for timely review and decision of all consumer loans, adhering to credit granting parameters and lending authority limits.

  • Review proof of income for all home equity requests to ensure compliance with Ability to Repay regulations.

  • Maintain level of delinquency below specified threshold to demonstrate ability to make lending decisions that are in the best interest of the credit union.

  • Review loan applications for additional cross sell opportunities to promote loan growth.

  • Develop rapport and positive relationships with credit union team members.

  • Provide on-site training for new hires.

  • Provide continual training to team members in regards to taking applications, identifying additional opportunities, and changes in regulation and policy.

Knowledge, Skills andAbilities:

  • Ability to effectively communicate all lending decisions and counter offers.

  • Ability to review a variety of reports for trends and make recommendations to management from the data.

  • Ability to work outside of scheduled hours as needed to ensure loans are decisioned in a timely manner; this includes network issues and inclement weather closures.

  • Available for coverage during scheduled hours including some evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Associates degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: Five years of experience in credit evaluation/underwriting.
