Job Summary

The IT Business Accounts DES & Enterprise Systems area has an exciting Business Systems Analyst or Senior Business Systems Analyst role available with a focus area of SAP HR. This is one position which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. Descriptions for both levels are provided below.

The individual in this position will be responsible for providing support for internal HR customers for both projects and application support. Specifically, this role provides support for SAP HR Master Data with expertise in both SAP HCM and Success Factors Employee Central. Individual will be also be assigned to support client IT projects and enhancements to include gathering and documenting requirements for enhancements and custom development efforts, writing functional development specifications, writing and executing comprehensive test plans, as well as supporting implementations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic job responsibilities include the following:

Devise or modify procedures to solve complex systems problems. Align technology solutions with business strategies. Partner with functional groups within the IT organization to communicate and clarify business needs, contribute to development of long-range system plans, and ensure products and services are aligned with business needs. Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost versus benefit measurements. Communicate trends and requirements to and from customers and IT. Work with an individual business unit on multi-project assignments.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Basic Qualifications BSA:

3+ years of experience supporting HR Master Data in SAP HCM and/or SAP Success Factors Employee Central

Note: A partial year of related experience of 6 months or greater will count a full year towards the requirements.

Basic Qualifications Senior BSA:

5+ years of experience supporting HR Master Data in SAP HCM and/or SAP Success Factors Employee Central

Note: A partial year of related experience of 6 months or greater will count a full year towards the requirements.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities for both positions (to be filled commensurate with level/breadth of experience):

  • Experience developing process maps, gathering business requirements, with a strong emphasis on application testing. Adheres to formal change management policies.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, or as the supporting BSA, on capital projects and O&M efforts for multiple client areas

  • Thorough understanding of HR business processes for onboarding, position, and organization management as they impact SF and SAP system processes

  • Direct experience as process owner for HR Master Data (both employee and contingent workers).

  • Proven experience troubleshooting HR master data issues, including employee replication issues

  • Ability to provide second and third-level support for inquiries submitted to the IT Help Line; utilize Quality Center for documenting and tracking work requests.

  • Data analysis skills and experience troubleshooting application functions or database results.

  • Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree or other education in Information Systems, Mathematics or Business, or the equivalent technical experience is desired.

Analyzes and interprets plans and specifications to determine work procedures. Compiles and calculates survey data. Verifies and approves drawings to ensure adherence with survey fundamentals, specifications and established company standards. Approves and processes survey field notes and transmits to internal departments. Researches both internal and external data records to obtain right of way, easement and company fee owned documents and deeds. Provides GIS support as assigned. Job Summary

This fire instructor position will be based out of the Safety & Emergency Response Training Facility (SERTF) in Chester, Virginia, and will require 50-75 % travel (not all overnight) throughout Dominion Energy's territory.

This position is responsible for conducting classroom and practical skills instruction for training courses involving structural and incipient firefighting, brigade support, confined space entry, confined space rescue, oil spill response and medic first aid. Additional responsibilities include developing and revising training materials to ensure compliance with company and governmental regulations and standards, assisting in the development of specialized training material and exercises, and in the operation of environmental control equipment. The instructor will assist in the inspection and maintenance of SERTF facilities, personal protective equipment, training equipment, vehicles, and training props as assigned. This position will provide direction for 5-7 contractor fire instructors assisting with classroom and field evolutions.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to climb, walk and/or crawl on multiple levels of stairs, ladders, and grating. Must be able to access all levels of power station environments including roofing structures and/or any underground areas.

- Must be able to lift 75 lbs. individually or drag 250 lb. manikins with a team member.

- Must be able to wear an SCBA and full face respirator. (no beard policy is required for respirator fit purposes)

- Must wear gear that weighs approximately 60-70 lbs. and perform assigned tasks. Gear may be occasionally worn for 5-6 hours during the day.

- Must be able to effectively utilize fire fighting tools and equipment associated with the job. (Ex. hoses, nozzles, etc.)

- Must be able to crawl into and through confined spaces that can be restricted to as small as 18-.

- Must be able to work in proper gear in heat extremes - burn building temperatures can reach 400-600F.

- Must be able to pass pulmonary function and respirator fit testing.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The following are required:

A two year associate's degree with 5 years of experience or 7-10 years of related experience with a HS diploma or GED.

- The ability to abide by and instill safety practices into all aspects of Power Generation daily work activities and training

- Successful teaming experience with highly motivated and dedicated subject matter experts in the profession of safety and emergency training

- The ability to effectively present classroom and practical skills presentations utilizing the training materials that are required for each discipline

- The ability and stamina to safely utilize full structural firefighting PPE and SCBA while conducting training in a wide array of firefighting exercises

- Good written and oral communication skills.

- Good computer skills; experienced in using Microsoft Word and using and developing Microsoft PowerPoint presentations

- Possess subject matter expertise on structural firefighting, the Incident Command System, and the National Incident Management System

- Possess a working knowledge of confined space entry requirements and confined space rescue operations and possess and working knowledge of basic rescue techniques and basic rescue equipment.

- The ability to effectively monitor training exercises for safety and operational content, and to display the knowledge and skills that are required to coach trainees when deficiencies are noted

- Possess a working knowledge of basic first aid and CPR

- Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations

The following requisites are preferred but not required:

- Certified EMT instructor for the Commonwealth of Virginia

- Working knowledge in Hazardous Materials Operations

- Virginia Department of Fire Programs Emergency Vehicles instructor

- Industrial and/or power generation station experience

Under limited supervision, the incumbent in this role performs the following processing functions as it relates to disbursement operations and policies: Utilizes automated accounting and billing systems to review, analyze and route/wire requests invoices for payment according to most favorable payment terms. Indexing scanned pages to identify and electronically route invoices. Reject invoices when incorrectly billed and/or insufficient information is provided. Verifies and ensures invoices are accurately billed based on Purchase Order (PO) terms and conditions. Coordinates with external and internal department personnel to solve problems, implement solutions, or provide background and analysis for system and business process issues, especially as it pertains to labor and equipment charges in billing systems. Utilized knowledge of the company, its business units, department, and policies to administer ongoing operations of various automated payment processes; reviews and resolves invoice and payment problems; researches and resolves vendor questions and issues. Partner with BU Operating Group Requisitioners, Supply Chain Buyers and Vendor contacts regarding PO issues. Provides guidance and assistance to employees with less experience. Train and communicate with and assist vendors and business unit partners with inquiries and reconciliation, especially as it pertains to labor and equipment charges in billing systems. May assist with Sarbanes Oxley review requirements. Entering, updating, and verifying information in the Supplemental Charges System and other systems that interface with SAP for generating payments to vendors. Finance

  • Work directly with Electric Transmission Project Management to develop project budget and forecast based on established SAP project scheduled plans, report financial results and prepare financial projections.

  • Develop and maintain budget and forecast plan for Transmission Line and Substation construction projects based on approved estimates.

  • Monitor project costs and communicate discrepancies, modify/maintain project forecasts

  • Support the Electric Transmission project closing process and annual goals by compiling asset data from several resources (SAP, Websys, scope of work) and processing in Power Plan

  • Support FERC filings, customer interrogatories and PJM reporting.

  • Identify and implement better work and business processes.

  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial case studies for a business process

  • Perform a complex set of activities associated with analyzing, summarizing, reporting and projecting financial results.

  • Define and develop performance metrics, analyze and recommend data collection process improvements

  • Define and develop performance metrics, analyze and recommend data collection process improvements

Job Summary

The first and second level in a developmental series, is responsible for providing field technical or engineering support in designated company areas or to specific engineering disciplines. Metering Solutions O&M Technician I is entry level and the second level is defined by the increased responsibility and ability to work independently in the application of technical or engineering skills and knowledge. The incumbent is capable of completing routine assignments and tasks with limited supervision and direction. Under the supervision of a supervisor or work leader, the successful candidate will support and troubleshoot communications of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meters and Network equipment and support and troubleshoot Automated Meter Reading (AMR) technology and equipment. Additional responsibilities include providing contractor oversight and auditing throughout our service territory, conducting analysis, research and design to further develop professional knowledge and abilities, and to provide technical support in designated company areas or specialized functions. This may include analyzing and evaluating systems, equipment, process improvements, and programs for assurance that they are modified, operated, and maintained in accordance with Company policy, procedure, and regulatory requirements. This role will include technician work relating to modifying, operating or maintaining systems or equipment. This role requires sufficient experience to have developed expertise in the area. This position is primarily responsible for the Northern service territory and most travel will occur within this Northern Virginia region. Some additional day trips and overnight trips will be necessary for work or training. Job Summary

Dominion Energy seeks candidates for a Sr Software Systems Engineer position located in Richmond, Virginia. Position responsibilities include supporting a SCADA system used to operate and monitor the generation of electrical power systems and other assets. A broad knowledge and/or willingness to learn a variety of skills from configuration, programming, automation, business operations etc. will be required.

It is essential the successful applicant be a highly motivated self-starter that can and will be responsible for their work with minimal direction and supervision. Works independently, this role formulates or defines specifications for complex software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing code. Responsibilities include working with an application dealing with the overall operating system and being complex in operation and activities. Candidate works at the highest technical level on all phases of software systems programming applications. Candidate is responsible for working with an individual business unit on multi-project assignments.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Support SCADA system across Dominions electrical system.

  • Support various Server OS, Win 08 - 19, Linux systems and operations

  • Support and create programs using C, C++, scripting (Python, PERL, etc.)

  • Support security of technical data and systems to NERC, NIST, or other compliant standards.

  • Supports business functions of the Generation Systems so knowledge of electrical systems and how generation works is a plus.

  • Support of data centers spanning two primary sites operating as a single logical unit using Cisco, VMware, and F5 technologies.

  • Support of data center and WAN network to support management of power generation stations running an OSI software solution. Integrated with network built around IP, analog, and ICCP connections compliant with NERC/CIP standards

  • Support VLan creation and management.

  • Design sets of complex secure networks supporting the electric system control centers. Unified systems included dedicated systems among other NERC/CIP regulated systems.

  • Monitor and tune performance of SCADA system for Dominion's generation fleet

  • Connect modern technologies to existing SCADA system with a variety of protocols

  • Support systems using NERC CIP standards

  • Support various systems to get evidence out for Cyber Security awareness

  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation

  • Plan, design, implement, enhance, and maintain complex systems

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • 5+ years of directly related experience

  • 3+ years of SCADA programming experience

  • Experience in Windows Operating System and Linux/Unix system at proficient and real-world experience.

  • Detailed analysis of Firewall security system rules management and creation

  • Understand and analyze detailed logs of the OS and software systems to get to core of various software.

  • Knowledgeable in C, CC++, Python, Java, etc.

  • Knowledge of Electrical Operations and/or Power Generation a plus

  • Knowledge of SCADA and the design principles of control system a plus.

  • Knowledge of reporting systems that ensure electrical systems are running efficiently a plus.

Job Summary

Job Summary

Manages nuclear station warehouse management activities, and ensures compliance with 10CFR50 App B, Dominion Topical Quality Report, and Supply Chain Management policies and procedures. Supervises storekeepers. Directs and controls receipt, storage, issuance, and return of materials of both commercial and quality Safety Related Parts. Interacts with station personnel, to improve customer service and resolve any issues. Assesses training levels, develops training, and performs training in materials management methodologies and processes. Performs required work observations, self-assessments, and quarterly detailed inspections of warehouse facilities, to ensure adherence to procedures. Interacts with internal and external auditors on all inventory and regulatory issues. Implements procedures, processes, and controls to ensure Sarbannes-Oxley compliance. Performs general supervisory duties, including procedure development, work schedule development, budget preparation, and goal development.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • 8 - 10 years related experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of nuclear warehousing procedures and methodologies, including industry guidelines and standards (such as ASME, EPRI and INPO).

  • In-depth knowledge of related company policies, procedures, and standards typically gained from extensive related work experience.

  • Full knowledge of computer applications and systems (i.e. SAP, Word, and Excel).

- Providing tools, materials and supplies to journeyman linemen

Surry Power Station located in Surry; Virginia is looking for a Industrial Engineering intern to work in its Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) Engineering department the summer of 2022. Job Summary

A successful candidate will be joining the Data Center Grid Planning team. This role will either be a mid-level (Engineer II) or senior level (Engineer III) position in the Engineer series. Successful candidate will perform difficult, complex, and time sensitive engineering work in a fast pace environment requiring sense of urgency, innovative thinking, ability to prioritize work, complete multiple engineering requests simultaneously, and thorough knowledge and experience of electric distribution Design, Planning, Reliability, Standards, Operations and/or Substation or Transmission engineering. This role will communicate directly with multiple data center customers on a regular basis to discuss ongoing data center projects. Successful candidate will coordinate major engineering, contractual and financial segments of complex data center projects to meet data center customer timelines and engineering objectives. Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, contracts, and criteria. Devises new and innovative approaches to problems encountered and develops engineering principles ensuring compliance with design criteria and industry/company standards. Work with other internal project teams to initiate and advance system upgrade projects to support data center customer requirements. Incumbent is expected to provide technical expertise and team leadership on daily basis. Provides guidance to less experienced Engineers. Will be required to apply diversified knowledge of electric T&D engineering principles and practices to all data center projects. May serve as a technical expert on engineering related legal and regulatory issues to outside entities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • Engineer III: 5+ years of directly related engineering experience

  • Engineer II: 3+ years of directly related engineering experience

  • Full knowledge of electric T&D engineering theories, standards, and principles with focus on electric distribution and substation;

  • Skilled in use of advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, principles, and practices of the field and related sciences and disciplines;

  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to serve as team project lead;

  • Strong oral and written communication skills (includes technical writing);

  • Strong personal computer skills;

  • Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems;

  • Ability to interpret codes, regulations and practices;

  • In depth knowledge of various computer applications, with the ability to manipulate personal computer applications and perform engineering calculations using applicable software programs such as Synergy, ArcFM, Microsoft Office, Work Manager, and various substation engineering portals and programs

Job Summary

This field oversight role is responsible for contract and specification compliance of transmission and substation construction projects to include monitoring contractor performance, material receipts, and coordinating construction activities. Inspects and monitors contractor work for compliance with Dominion Energy's Safety requirements, Contract documents, Policies, and Procedures (quality, safety, schedule, specifications and environmental). Maintains schedule and reports to management on project status including weekly Progress Reporting. Coordinates and communicates with internal and external partners regarding major construction and maintenance projects. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and acts as the interface with appropriate agencies. Works with other Dominion Energy teams to resolve disputes and maintain a positive relationship with property owners, business owners, and the public. Assist Project Manager to identify transmission line outages, headways, durations, and clearance zones. Communicates with SOC for switching and receiving transmission line clearances. The construction coordinator will be involved in Electric Transmission Capital Projects in multiple regions that support Underground Transmission Construction. This position will report to Superintendent, Northern Region

Additional duties:

  • Attends and executes safety meetings and ensures safety is the top priority on all construction projects.

  • Understands, recognizes, any recommends corrections on potential environmental issues before they occur

  • Solid understanding of engineering specifications and the application of specs to the projects.

  • Exercises positive communication with internal and external partners regarding construction projects.

  • Understands and executes current construction processes and procedures.

  • Works with Superintendent and/or Construction Consultant to ensure Time & Material, Lump sum, and Firm Fixed Price contracts are properly applied to construction projects.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Significant directly related experience (electric transmission line and/or electric transmission heavy construction): 10+ years with HS/GED; or 8+ years with related associate degree; or 7+ years with related Bachelor's degree *Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications

  • Full knowledge of construction, operations, and maintenance of transmission lines; switching, tagging, grounding and concrete construction

  • Basic knowledge of contract administration to include Time & Material, Lump sum, and Firm Fixed Price contracts as it applies to construction projects.

  • Ability and willingness to travel and be in the field extensively

  • Basic knowledge of OSHA safety standards

  • Basic knowledge of computer programs

  • Ability and willingness to work 40+ hour work weeks

  • This position will require that you operate a Dominion Energy vehicle or operate a vehicle on behalf of Dominion Energy

  • Skills: strong written and verbal communication; Project management; public relations

  • Abilities: read and understand technical specifications; work independently, evaluate problems, and make sound decisions; analytical and conceptual thinking; adapt to changing conditions and demands; physical attributes required to perform essential functions of the job - lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, bending, prolonged standing and manual dexterity.

Education Requirements

Education Leve l: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Associate. Other Education: Environmental Science, Building & Construction, Construction Management, Procurement, Business Administration

Associated certifications preferred : State and Federal Certifications for Erosion and Sedimentation Control, Responsible Land Disturber, Construction or Project Management, Procurement

Disciplines Preferred : Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, Project Management.
