Summary You will serve as a Transportation Assistant (QA Inspector/Counselor) in the Navy Household Goods/Personal Property Shipping Office (HHG/PPSO) Store Front Section of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE. Responsibilities You will communicates with members/employees, their dependents and agents to elicit their shipment needs and desired services. You will counsel property owners/customer regarding inbound and outbound shipments, non-temporary and temporary storage, and procedures for processing loss and damage claims. Responsibilities You will unload incoming shipments, scan bar codes or key receipt information into automated record system. You will count and annotate types and quantities of items and appropriately sign receiving documents as well as annotate changes on Bill of Lading as necessary. Summary You will serve as a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER in the Fuels Management Branch of NAVSUP FLC SD GF. Responsibilities You will receive and transfer fuel by coupling and uncoupling hoses, closes and opens valves, starts and stops pumps, and monitors gauges, meters and filter separators You will operate and maintain a complete fuels distribution system(s) to receive, store, transfer, and issue both aviation and ground fuels. You will perform general maintenance and repair on 400-5,000 gallon cryogenic storage tanks. You will operate one or more type of special purpose design aviation and ground fuel-tank truck vehicle having a capacity of up to 10,000 gallons and gross vehicle weight in excess of 100,000 pounds. You will transport fuel from the bulk storage area to the flight line issue point and position the vehicle for the refueling/de-fueling task as required. Summary You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Supply Management Department, South Division, NAVFAC Material Operations Branch of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK. Responsibilities You will be responsible for taking action on material requirements for maintenance, utilities, and transportation equipment. You will partner with the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) material liaison, shop store inventory managers, procurement personnel, and end users to oversee stock maintenance within prescribed levels using established procedures. You will facilitate the movement of routine items, expedite the movement of priority items, follow up on overdue material, and execute the full spectrum of warehousing functions in support of NAVFAC material requisitions. You will perform technical supply and warehouse operations duties. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For the GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
