Marine Electrician I - Kapolei, HI
As the, Marine Electrician I , you will work on a team supporting cabling, equipment, and C5ISR system installations. You will join, fabricate, and assemble various electromechanical and electronic assemblies by applying appropriate safety techniques and the work is performed onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that successful and safe work is performed onboard U.S. Naval Ships and our Military installations which is vital to our Mission to protect and serve our Military.
As the, Marine Electrician I, you will perform the following typical tasks:
Perform simple routine tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures and your will work will be checked in progress or on completion.
Perform one or a combination of such typical duties as assembles or installs equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting. Performs simple or routine tasks or tests such as tensile or hardness tests; operates and adjusts simple test equipment; records test data.
Gathers and maintains specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc.; performs computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas; plots data and draws simple curves and graphs.
Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and you will typically report to a supervisor in a safe work environment
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of AIT Installation experience
Have an OSHA 10 certification or able to obtain the certification
Must be able to have the ability to work in areas with drafts, noise, and temperature variation.
Must be able to work in high heat spaces, climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift up to 50 pounds with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position. Attention to safety critical.
Applicant must be familiar with NAVSEA, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of electrical repair, fabrication, and installation.
Applicant must be able to get respirator qualified and wear proper PPE throughout their work shift.
Applicant must be willing to work second shift and willing to work more than 40 hours work weeks.
Ability to travel if necessary
This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to staff it only with U.S. Citizens, be able to obtain gain access to shipyards (NAVSTA & DBIDS), undergo a background investigation and pass a drug screening.

Position Description
Serco is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support the NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program in San Diego, CA.Discover your place in our world.
The primary goal of the NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program is to provide both preventive and corrective maintenance services to Navy installations as required to sustain NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Program Systems in accordance with their operational requirements. In support of this effort the System Administrator will work as part of a team providing a variety of tasks to the US Navy to include: system administration, VM creation and VMS System monitoring, and compliance checks.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Perform Active Directory Account management.
Perform Patching, Scanning, and Security Technology Implementation Guides (STIGs)
Provide production rollout support
Perform IA/Cyber Security Remediation as needed to maintain VMS connectivity with PSNet.
Evaluate performance of subcontractors and staff in terms of actual and planned task schedules and resource requirements while reviewing work for quality assurance.
Train all staff members and instruct them on customer's methods, procedures, and standards.
Evaluate, develop or implement procedures regarding project documentation and development.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
Bachelors degree or an Associates Degree and 4 years of specialized experience or a High School diploma and 8 years of specialized experience.
Must posses a DoD Secret Clearance.
Experience in the administration of Window's Active Directory infrastructure to include Group Policy Object management experience, VMware ESXi server, data base solutions to include Microsoft SQL and Oracle, BackupExec, Acronis.
Ability to create Standard Operating Procedure documentation for designs and implementation strategies of new hardware and software deployment.
Possible 10% local travel
Additional desired experience and skills:
Possess the following certification; Security +, Windows Operating System and Windows Server, CCNA, and VMWare.
Strong understanding of current Microsoft supported windows operating systems.

You will be reporting to the Director - Proposal Management. In this role, you will:
Read and analyze RFP/RFQ/SIR/etc. requirements to support the construct of compliant proposal outlines and content plans.
Work with operations personnel to support the creation of work breakdown structure (WBS) in accordance with Military Standards 881E based off the scope of work/performance work statement/statement of objectives.
Work with operations personnel to support the development of the Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for the scope of work/performance work statement/statement of objectives.
Work with the Capture Manager and Operations Lead/Program Manager on author assignments and page limitations.
Conduct writer's workshop to assist operations personnel authoring written narratives of the technical and management response.
Develop conceptual graphics for the CONOPS and/or technical process workflows in Power Point or MS Visio during solutioning sessions.
Develop written narrative(s) from scratch and/or by tailoring boilerplate narrative for non-technical sections, when necessary.
Assist operations personnel authoring sections to strengthen written session to make it compelling, concise, correct, complete, clear, and credible.
Review completed proposal content plans, particularly graphics, and subsequent written sections to ensure requirements are adequately addressed and that page limits are met.
Participate in proposal status meetings to address assigned action items with due dates.
Work with the Volume Managers to ensure inter-volume compatibility is achieved.
Direct the development of task descriptions for the Basis of Estimate and related cost assumptions for development of the cost volume.
Tutor/mentor authors and other personnel as deemed necessary.
Contribute to questions list probing more information on or clarification of requirements from the Customer
Assist in final proposal revisions assuring revisions are consistent with the Customer's requirements.
Assist in preparation of Orals, if required.
Strong organization skills for content management and collaboration
Ability to review and correct material for content, style, and compliance with internal and external standards
Write and speak fluent English with exceptional oral communications and editorial skills
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field and/or business admin
At least 5 years of experience in federal government proposal development with progressively increasing responsibility
5 years managing successful proposals.
Experience as a proposal manager and proposal writer.
Demonstrated motivational skills with a high energy level.

The DOL VETS TAP program needs skilled and compassionate Senior Employment Navigators who can assist military personnel in their transition to civilian occupations and providing individual counseling on the job search process. Senior Employment Navigators would be expected to assess the transitioning Servicemember and/or transitioning spouse's acquired skills via tools/software provided and assist with career exploration and translating their military experience desired by future employers. Senior Employment Navigator s would also be expected to connect transitioning Servicemembers and/or spouses to DOL government and non-government partners as well as American Job Centers based on the Servicemember and/or spouse's needs. In this role, you will:
Listen to Service Members, analyze their expressed needs, suggest solutions, and action plans.
Provide job search guidance and career advice; assure the transitioning service member (TSM) understands and can access available resources.
Assist with job matching of vacancy postings, with TSM's skills and work requirements.
Provide labor market information, identify companies and industries in specific areas, capture skills and experience required in certain areas, and offer advice on how to apply for jobs.

Qualifications

In this role you will:
Lead and direct assigned proposal efforts and personnel.
Facilitate the development and review of proposal strategies and themes.
Lead review of proposal strengths and weaknesses of the Client for emphasis and mitigation, respectively.
Lead review of proposal strengths and weaknesses of the competitors for de-emphasis and -ghosting-, respectively.
Prepare and maintain the Proposal schedule working in concert with the Capture Manager and Operations Lead/Program Manager.

Read and analyze RFx requirements to construct a proposal outline and content plan.
Develop the work breakdown structure for the scope of work.

Verify responsiveness of written narratives to RFP requirements and correct written narrative if it is not responsive.
Build the proposal compliance matrix using the opportunity tracking report and track the fulfillment of all requirements.
Develop conceptual graphics in Power Point or MS Visio during solution sessions.
Develop written narrative from scratch and/or by tailoring boilerplate narrative for non-technical sections.
Review completed proposal content plan, particularly graphics, and subsequent written sections to ensure requirements are adequately addressed and that page limits are met.
Conduct regular proposal progress (Tag Ups) status meetings and manage and assign action items with due dates.
Direct writing/editing/rewriting efforts as needed.
If applicable, work with the Volume Managers to ensure inter-volume compatibility is achieved.
Handle the logistics associated with scheduling and managing color reviews.
Prepare and collect/track the score card for color reviews of the proposal content plan including evaluate and report out on the score results.
Organize and manage Microsoft SharePoint team site for assigned pursuit(s).
Ensure that appropriate comments from the color reviews are incorporated into the final proposal version.
Direct the Proposal Coordinator in all configuration control and proposal production activities.
Assist as appropriate, in obtaining subcontract RFPs into the hands of other companies (if Teaming) and to key vendors and subcontractors.
Direct the development of task descriptions for the Basis of Estimate and related cost assumptions for development of the cost volume.
Tutor/mentor authors and other personnel as deemed necessary including facilitating writer's workshops.
Collect and coordinate the response to questions from the Customer.
Assist in final proposal revisions assuring that the revisions are consistent with the Customer's requirements and the Client's management direction.
Assist in preparation of Orals, if required.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
Bachelor's degree in related field.
3 years of experience in federal government contracting proposal development with progressively increasing responsibility.

In this full-time Senior Facilitator role, you will:
Guide the transitioning Military Servicemembers in identifying goals, while also assisting them with recognizing any employment or education gaps.
Conduct large group instruction and provide individual counseling on the job search process.
Mentor and assist in the training of part-time Employment Facilitators new to the program to include a 90 day post-hire review.
Provide transitioning Servicemembers (Active, Reserve, National Guard), family members, and Veterans a comprehensive understanding of preparing for civilian employment, job searching, job application processes, networking, technical training opportunities, credentialing, and assistance in preparing for civilian employment and participation in technical programs and schools; and who can conduct large group instruction and provide counseling on the job search process.
Facilitate job search and process workshops with curriculum and activities created specifically for Spouses, Veterans, and Wounded Warriors.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An Associate degree and 5 years of TAP training experience.
Previous experience which demonstrates understanding of private and public sector employment processes.
Must have excellent time management skills and able to work independently.
Must be Proficient in MS Windows and Office.
Must be able to communicate effectively with Military clients, be comfortable instructing and speaking in front of a group, be observant of others, possess the ability to engage an audience, and respond to inquiries independently.
Must be able to travel when required.
Additional desired experience and skills:
A Bachelor's degree, any discipline from an accredited college or university and at least 3 years of TAPtraining experience.

In this role, you will:
Perform operational and functional inspections, repairs and maintenance on large diesel powered fleet vehicles and various construction equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a diverse equipment set, which includes mowers, cranes, backhoes, trailers, vactor units, directional drills, trenchers, bulldozers, excavators, wood chippers, asphalt laying equipment, diggers and pole setting equipment, aerial manlifts, cranes, medium and heavy trucks and mounted/non-mounted attachments.
Operate and perform diagnosis on equipment, maintain and repair hydraulic systems, route and replaces hydraulic lines, check system for leaks and proper operation
Perform diagnosis and repair of complex electrical systems

Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system

To be successful in this role you will have:

Qualifications

Ability to operate personal computers and have good knowledge and operational abilities with Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to support activities in a shipyard or naval facility. Some work may occur within an industrial field office, outdoors and/or aboard ship while the ship is undergoing construction, alteration, activation, overhaul, repair, and/or underway trials. Walking and climbing throughout the ship, to accomplish ship checks, may be required. Uses financial data and input from team members to prepare Selected Acquisition Reports (SAR) and Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) Reports in a web-based tool Research, Development & Acquisition Information System (RDAIS 3.0) for an ACAT I and ACAT III program assigned to PEO Ships.
Prepare Ad Hoc reports to include but not limited to APB, PB, BES, POM and out of cycle SAR.
Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as DAR, FAR, and other government environment.
Coordinates with all stakeholders to obtain updates (Executive Summary, Cost, Schedule, KPP, O&S, T&E, EVM, Contract Status etc.)
Creates, maintains, and updates financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates various financial reports as required. Maintains appropriate records and documentation.
Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as DAR, FAR, and other government environment.
Maintains backup spreadsheets for all Unit Cost Reports and Calculations: Average Procurement Unit Cost (APUC) and Program Acquisition Unit Cost (PAUC).
Reconciles all data with ability to articulate program variances.
Ensures all indices applied to program funding are accurate and up to date.
Preforms financial analysis.
Maintains processes and develop new ones when required.
Identifies and resolves complex problems as well as to prevent future problems.
Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with the PMO including Staff Meetings, LCU 1700 team, SSC team, Shipbuilders and PEO but not limited to.
Work with the Serco Integrated Data Environment (IDE) team in ensuring the seamless workflow of customer deliverables in the database.

Qualifications

Position Description
Serco supports the Navy Personnel Command (NPC) by recruiting the best quality men and women from the diverse population of our country.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will support offices within Navy Personnel Command (NPC) PERS-3 located in Millington, TN. You will be responsible for maintaining and providing complete and accurate personnel records and records-related information to authorized users throughout the Navy and other federal agencies within Navy Personnel Command (NPC) PERS-3 by monitoring and assisting all Navy commands in the correct and accurate recording of all Personnel Operation Tempo (PERSTEMPO).
In this role, you will:
Provide Help Desk services that assist Navy Commands in obtaining and using reports withing the PERSTEMPO report-viewing center
Conduct user training as required
Support the management of the All-Navy PERSTEMPO report that identifies individual accounts and units with expired events
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
U S Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
High School Diploma or equivalent
5 years of experience in Office Management and Clerical Support
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) Proficient in the use of basic office equipment (computers, scanners, copiers, printers)
Additional desired experience and skills:
Customer Service experience ideally with operational fleet commands
Experience in Navy Personnel records and awards Experience in proper handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in accordance with Department of Navy (DON) policies and procedures
