Warewash Division Description:
The Warewash Division is seeking a Product Manager (in office) at its Troy, Ohio facility, located 20 minutes north of the Dayton metropolitan area.
The Warewash Business Division produces Hobart, Stero and Somat branded commercial dishwashers, waste equipment and disposers used in hotels, retail, restaurants, cruise ships, schools, universities, and other environments. We are the industry leader and seeking to expand our growth in existing served markets as well as new markets. We are in search of a Product Manager to help support and grow the FEG Warewash business through market research, product development, go-to-market planning, demand generation, and sales and channel support for our commercial line of dishwashers. This position champions the voice of the customer with engineering and product development teams and provides support to our sales development managers and field sales organization to maximize sales volume for the business unit's products.

Summary:
The Product Manager, in conjunction with the Marketing Team, will help identify new market opportunities, manage the product portfolio, develop marketing plans for new and existing products, define product training requirements, and develop programs to ensure the field sales organization and dealer and consultant communities have accurate product knowledge and a clear sales narrative to drive success with the Hobart line.
We are seeking candidates with experience that includes marketing support for product development, product launches (sales and service training plans, marketing operations, and content development), and analysis and interpretation of market and competitive data.
What you will do:
Product Development & Management
Support ongoing discovery of new product and business opportunities through competitor and market analysis and primary and secondary customer research using ITW's Market-Segment-Focus approach.
Work with various stakeholders and partners inside and outside the company to understand market, customer needs, competitive changes and provide clear product specifications, business plans & value propositions for commercial dishwashing equipment targeting the US market.
Ensure that New Product Development teams are aligned with North American commercial dishwashing customer needs and pain points through clear product specifications, business plans and product launches for each product line.
Support for Business Development & Product Line Growth
Support organic revenue growth goals through commercialization, demand generation, customer engagement, and sales support and enablement activities.
Create go-to-market and commercial launch plans for new product launches.
Provide customized marketing, product specification, research, and other direct support to sales teams for key account opportunities.
Provide product sales training and support through product presentations, product marketing collateral and in-the-field training.
Provide continuous updates to competitive and market intelligence and customer trends that affect success in targeted accounts and segments.
Leadership
Provide and facilitate project management for sales, marketing and engineering teams for effective product development and product launches.
Spend time in key segments and channels with team members and customers to understand market needs and provide training on Hobart WW products and sales narratives.

SUMMARY
The Customer Care Supervisor will be responsible for the daily supervision and coaching of 10-15 non-exempt personnel, some located remotely, ensuring a positive customer service experience for Hobart Parts Customers. The Customer Care Supervisor will build a strong team and shape staff behaviors to accomplish desired department performance indicators. This position will play a collaborative role in growing and implementing standards and processes for the Hobart Parts Customer Care Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the assigned team in developing a culture of high employee engagement with a focus on teamwork, excellence, and the customer (internal and external).
Motivate the team through coaching, career planning and setting educational objectives.
Observe and evaluate performance to drive key performance indicators; close performance gaps and provide feedback.
Receive, investigate, and resolve escalated customer service issues and inquiries from team.
Obtain basic product knowledge of ITW Food Equipment Group accessories, parts, and their relationship to specific equipment to converse and coach team.
Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
Provide communication and training to assigned team around procedures and tools.
Provide timely order entry, updates, invoicing and problem resolution for customers to assist team in reaching key performance indicators.
Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operation of the team to ensure operation within corporate objectives and standards.
Work with management on customer service initiatives.
Make recommendations to management concerning staff and improvement of procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities and carries out these responsibilities in accordance with the ITW's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, coaching for performance, and resolving problems.
Education and Work Experience
Associates degree or equivalent experience required. Degree in business, communication or sales preferred.
3-5 years in customer service or call center experience, is preferred but not required.
2 years supervisory experience is required.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Customer Service & Materials Representative will report to the Plant Operations Manager and own the customer facing on-time delivery and communication of finished goods to the end customers for an automotive product line for our Seats and Motion Business. This position is responsible for customer service, materials, shipping and receiving. The Customer Service & Materials Supervisor is responsible for effective communication and partnership with supply chain, operations, engineering and sales functions ensuring customer requirements are communicated and met. The Customer Service & Materials Supervisor will lead and support continuous improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and operating costs by the deployment of strategies and actions delivering to financial and personnel plans.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately input sales orders and provide support for confirmations, proof of deliveries, credit memos, product inquiries, etc.
Support customer accounts through customer relationship building, product awareness and application support
Coordinates shipments with shipping clerks
Approves special price concessions, quotes, bid allowances, or adjustments, with support from Supply Chain Manager
Maintain and update YOY customer price reduction with support of Account Manager / Sales Manager
Track on time delivery measurable for IATF
Participates in and lead small ITW Toolbox initiatives such as In-Lining, MRD, PLS, USa and/or 80/20 analysis
Supervises performance of staff members including completion of performance appraisals, development, and training plans
Compiles data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts, and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements
Acts as the central contact for all the vendors
Orders all raw materials, components and services from the vendors, with support from production
Support production for EOP of programs to avoid obsolete stock
Coordinates and participates in annual physical inventory
Support continuous improvement of the entire material process
On call responsibility for the facility, as it pertains to customer shipments

Post-secondary education preferred; AA, AS, AAS, BA or BS degree, preferably in engineering, operations or logistical management, or business.

The Assembler position is responsible for a range of assembly operations connected with sub-assembly, main and final assembly, packing, trouble shooting, repair and adjustment of stainless steel commercial models to meet exacting operating performance. Some assemblies are built by moving the unit through progressive work stations while other units are built on a conveyor at multi work stations. These positions occasionally may require daily and/or weekend overtime to meet customer expectations. Utilizing hand tools, power tools, fixtures, hoists, and work instructions, the Assembler will also use their combined knowledge of both mechanical technology and electrical components to complete production tasks.

Essential Functions:
Hobart customer safety lead
Manage REACH, RoHS, and other relevant product certification and compliance
Oversee and drive excellence in Hobart's product hazard communications, such as product labels, websites, spec sheets, etc.
Work with Applications Engineering and R&D to develop a comprehensive database of safety information for Hobart product lines.
Work with outside contractor to ensure that product SDSs and labels are up to date and fully compliant with GHS, OSHA and other regulatory bodies.
Respond to customer inquiries pertaining to safety and product SDSs.
Attend safety related code and committee functions and report back on essential health and safety industry developments with organizations such as the American Welding Society or the International Institute of Welding
Help inform and shape Long Range Plan and New Product Development efforts related to emerging trends and value-added enhancements to the health & safety of our products.
Coordinate and draft case studies as needed to demonstrate the effectiveness of our products as related to health & safety.
Work with key customers, product specialist, and corporate account managers to address customer specific needs related to health & safety.
Reinforce a safety-first work culture and drive process excellence with regard to our communication and advocacy of the safe use of our products.
Assist with/lead safety training efforts for both internal and external customers. Attend safety conferences (such as AIHce) to promote Hobart products, as required.
Assist ITW Legal with materials related to Hobart products.
Other Responsibilities:
Work with other ITW business units regarding industrial hygiene, customer wellness, & safety of our products.
Coordinate cross-divisional efforts within ITW Welding geared towards comprehensive, system wide safety solutions.
Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related field. Master's preferred.
Knowledge of Materials Science or Welding a plus, especially as it pertains to filler metals and the welding environment.
Preference toward Industrial Hygiene certificate or degree, or willingness to pursue one in the future.
6-10 years of relevant work experience is preferred.

The Electrical Manufacturing Engineering responsibilities include planning and executing the electrical design and implementation tasks related to the carrier manufacturing process across Hi-Cone's four manufacturing plants. Duties:
Work from Production Reports, Drawings and Quality Inspection Sheets.
Select material according to gauge, width and color
Load and unload material from the machine.
Adjust machine, inspect materials per specifications according to print and make adjustments to maintain quality.
Adjust straightness of material for proper cut.
Clean machines as necessary.
Visually inspect and measure product with specified instruments for compliance with customer and manufacturing specifications.
Assemble finished product package, loads unitized pallet, obtain and apply accurate label information on pallets.
Identify defects in material.
Maintain daily production log of output and scrap and record accurate measurements and other quality control data.
Move scrap material to the Regrind Room and load material into grinders.
Perform specified housekeeping tasks on each shift.
Follow all safety rules.
Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Pallet jack, scales, fixtures, reel and fanfold automatic punch presses, grinding machines, fanfold splicing machine.

Work is performed in a typical manufacturing environment. Safety glasses are required in the facility. Hearing protection is required in the facility. Safety gloves are required. Hard toe shoes are required in the facility. Facility is temperature controlled. Position will require overtime work at the discretion of management to meet customer and production requirements.

As a Field Service Engineer, you are the front line of Diagraph's customer interaction through delivering efficient field support in your assigned territory. Prior experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, emergency service and repairing electronics and mechanical machine problems in the field preferred.
Basic electromechanical aptitude.

This hands-on Automation/Controls Engineer role will have responsibility of launching newly installed automated equipment, maintaining the equipment and working to improve the automation process. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager at the Washington, NC site and is responsible for the management, implementation, and troubleshooting of projects and equipment associated with the automation of manufacturing processes. This individual will champion the use of the ITW Toolbox in implementation of these projects and ensure compliance with Quality System standards. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES:
Understand & maintain Machine Network Layouts and Designs, specifically Ethernet.
Program and debug PLC, HMI and robot software.
Must have solid software and hardware troubleshooting skills
Setup automation for presses or assembly machines, wiring and interfacing.
Setup and debug new automation as needed. Make samples for new items/customers.
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair various assembly, automation and mold equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks and fill out relevant paperwork. Cross train with molding technicians for mold machine maintenance.
Check and adjust parameters during changeovers and note changes for update.
Clean automation equipment and areas.
Replace worn equipment. Design and fabricate small fixtures for equipment.
Look for methods of improving efficiency and ensure quality standards, as an individual and part of a team.
Assist QA with finding and implementing corrective actions from customer rejections.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and write order requests for replenishment.
Communicate with other shifts, operators, and technicians to give and receive updates on equipment status.
Support production with an on call status, authorized for a rotating scheduled overtime on weekends.
Maintain compliance with ISO 13485 and Safety Policies/Standards.
Technical school degree with 5+ years of related controls & automation experience.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to drive needed change.
Must possess comprehension and reasoning skills used to understand and collect data, interpret technical instructions, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to travel occasionally to other ITW locations and for vendor visits as required.

Job Summary

Role Summary:
Coordinates production efforts to meet customer expectations and management's goals and expectations. This is accomplished via scheduling personnel at the proper stations, checking inventory, reviewing customer orders, checking operator paperwork, training operators, and monitoring the daily output of each station.
- Reviews customer orders for changes and adjust scheduling of Operators to meet production needs
- Monitor production to ensure deliveries will be on time. Escalate delivery concerns to Production Supervisor and or Production Manager
- Directs activities on the production floor with Operators
- Ensure that Operators have what is needed in order to perform their duties. Such as, components, tools, and packaging
- Monitor inventories of finished goods and components as required and informs the proper personnel of shortages that will interfere with production and or meeting customer orders
- Verify production paperwork at each station for accuracy on a daily basis
- Responsible for assisting in continuous improvement activities on production floor Implementation of corrective action and follow-up
- Continuous improvement plans and audits of systems.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop team members. Ensures that Operators receive training, new and on-going
- Consults with operators and provide management with updates when machine goals are not being met
- Any and all tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must possess ability to mentor and coach employees
- Proficient verbal and written communications skills, along with good organizational skills required
- Must have a basic knowledge of a machine operation
- Motivated to grow and develop skills for advancement
- Proficient computer skills - MS Office and IMES
- Must be able to work flexible schedule of overtime and some weekends
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs.
- Experience driving/operating a forklift a plus
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, bend, reach, stoop, kneel and stand the majority of a full shift

Leads 2nd shift Production team in operational areas of quality, scheduling, attendance, production, line layout and process improvement.
Perform activities on equipment which includes setup, assemble, disassemble, operate, changeover, remove, turn, replace, adjust, service, and basic maintenance as needed to support production.
Performs electro-mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic trouble shooting, production die setup and repair and general preventative maintenance procedures on all production, facility and plant equipment.
Maintains production equipment in a manner that meets organization standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime.
Perform all quality checks according to SOPs and quality specifications sheets.
Coordinate optimum work schedules/workflow, coaching, training and developing, monitoring staff performance, maintaining open communications and fostering teamwork.
Coordinate training of temporaries and machine operators; Lead and motivate team in meetings and events.
Ensure a safe work environment exhibiting effective leadership holding Associates accountable to company policies, plant safety rules, and OSHA regulations. Provide training to team members across all dimensions of the workplace safety program.
Ensure safe operating practices and behaviors throughout team.
Use of ERP system to coordinate work activities and produce necessary reports.
This position may be assigned other duties as needed to support plant and to meet customer needs.
Three to five years' experience in a manufacturing environment with two years Supervisory experience. Associate degree or equivalent preferred, or two to four years related experience.
Experience in OSHA regulations and participative safety program culture
Leadership experience in an empowered work team environment
Disciplined self-starter with strong organizational skills
Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Previous work experience with a ERP system preferred but not required
Possess strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to use basic machine shop equipment, hand tools, forklift and material handling equipment
Utilize practical problem solving to identify the root cause of problems
Previous forklift experience a plus
Must be able to work 2nd shift hours and overtime as required.

We are looking for an enthusiastic R&D Chemist intern to join our R&D Innovation team during the Fall of 2021. This internship position will expose the candidate to the concepts and practices of performing Technology investigations, including Market and IP characterization, as well as providing immersion into the field of analytical testing. The position will involve the combination of primary/secondary research, analysis, interpretation, product testing and reporting on assigned topics.
This internship will help you grow your professional skills and broaden your experience as you contribute to the R&D group and our company-wide goals.
What you will do:
Develop key test methods for product attribute testing, with guidance from senior technical team.
Hands-on, creative, Do-It-Yourself mentality required.
Understand the product attribute and deduce a test method for testing various formulas/prototypes.
General lab testing, read samples, and enter data into system as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of experiments or process.
Follow all quality procedures and safety rules.
Lab maintenance of equipment and materials. Work area must be kept in a clean and orderly condition.
Keep updated in the field by reading technical literature, attending lectures, and industry seminars.
What we are looking for:
- Junior or Senior, pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- One plus years relevant work experience a plus
- Willing to learn new processes and business practices.
- A driving intellectual curiosity
- Experience in laboratory environment, hands-on product testing is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
