In this position, Franchise Business Consultants are responsible for an assigned portfolio of franchisees, with the responsibility of partnering with each individual franchisee to set and achieve or exceed goals for their networks to drive the business in the areas of sales, profits, and network growth. To accomplish this, key areas of focus will be high-quality customer service, operational excellence, well trained and competent employees, and top-notch facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve the operations and business performance goals for their portfolio of Franchisees, as set by their regional operations leader.

  • Facilitate Annual Planning and Franchise Business Review process with Franchisees to assess performance based on previous goals and commitments, and to align on future goals and commitments. Align priority areas with Franchisee to drive the business in sales, profitability and network growth, while delivering a safe and consistent brand experience. Develop plan to coach Franchisee, through regular check-ins, to follow-through on commitments.

  • Track and review on-going data and analytics to guide Franchisee actions toward their goals, commitments, and plans. Interpret data to provide coaching and recommendations on priorities for Franchisee to address. Follow up on Franchisee commitments and monitor data to check progress.

  • Support Franchisees in understanding the processes for remodeling and building new restaurants. Align with the construction team and the Franchisee, monitor the milestones, and hold the Franchisee accountable to ensure that completed facilities meet required operational specifications. Provide support during all remodel and new store openings.

  • Facilitate communications between Franchisee and applicable cross-functional partners based on Franchisee's individual goals and opportunities in pursuit of safe and consistent brand experience, same-store growth, and preparations for unit growth

  • Participate and work -as-needed- with the Field Marketing Team on updates for operations initiatives and new marketing product and promotion rollouts. Monitor and support the execution of local, DMA and regional marketing plans.

  • Perform evaluations on restaurants as needed based on the Franchisee Business Review process or other indicators

  • Partner with Field Training Team to coordinate training support to the franchisee.

  • Ensure the effective use of G&A expenses within parameters set by regional leads.

  • Complete all responsible administrative functions and requirements of the position in a timely manner.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Minimum

High School or GED

Preferred

4 Year / Bachelor's Degree

Business or related field

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION

Required Minimum - 5 years in progressive supervisory franchise management or District level multi-units operations

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIE

  • Able to effectively build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Sound written and verbal communication skills; strong ability to influence

  • Excellent organizational skills - able to effectively manage time and plan

  • Skilled at coaching, consultation, problem solving and analysis.

  • Must be able to show a strong sense of self-leadership; can effectively work autonomously and show sound judgement and decision-making capabilities.

  • Able to develop and execute plans to drive results.

  • Highly adaptable to changes in direction; can effectively adapt to different situations and personalities.

  • Five plus years operations management experience with multi-unit leadership experience (operational expertise and credibility)

  • Strong Business Acumen; extensive knowledge of P&L's related to analysis, management and unit economics

Job Description

Assist in performing the corporate accounting function including the month-end close, review of corporate general and administrative costs, balance reconciliations, bank reconciliations, preparation of various analysis, and to assist with quarterly and year-end audits and to contribute to the achievement of Company, assisting with process improvement initiatives, and department goals through the effective administration of the general ledger system.

Additionally, this role will contribute to the success of the OneInspire Finance Program, including the integration of the Jimmy John's brand into the Company's organization, process, and financial systems. This role will support the Company's timely and accurate reporting by assisting with process improvement initiatives and controls execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the month and quarter end closing of the general ledger, prepare month-end journal entries, evaluate account balances, and prepare analyses in conjunction with preparation of journal entries and balance reconciliations.

  • Assist in the research and determination of how to account for new transactions, which may include review of contracts, research of technical literature and developing proposals for accounting treatment.

  • Review corporate general and administrative (G&A) statements for accuracy and distribute as necessary and provide financial support to assigned G&A cost center owners regarding cost center charges, variances, and other financial related issues. Prepare detailed analysis of variances and unusual trends by G&A cost center owner to assist Financial, Planning & Analysis team and other groups with the annual budget and forecasting processes.

  • Perform reconciliations and analysis of corporate balance sheet and P&L accounts and corporate bank accounts. Assist in the monthly analysis of the financial statements and various budget versus actual schedules to ensure expenses are recorded in the appropriate period.

  • Maintain financial internal controls in performance of assigned processes to maintain accuracy and reliability of financial information to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Participate in special projects as needed, specifically the Jimmy John's system integration project. Jimmy John's will move from Great Plains ERP to Oracle Cloud ERP in Q1 2024

Education Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in accounting preferred

  • CPA or CPA candidate

Experience Qualifications

  • 2-4 years accounting experience.

  • Prior accounting experience with GL accounting systems, ORACLE and Hyperion preferred.

  • Public accounting or QSR accounting experience preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

  • Team player who is detail oriented, with ability to plan work effectively, work independently with minimal supervision and minimal to no errors, meet the deadlines assigned, and make sound decisions.

Job Description

Responsible for coordination, reporting and data integrity of all construction projects; new growth and relocations. The Development Specialist (New Growth) is responsible for project coordination from inception to final punch list; tracking, monitoring, forecasting, and maintaining reports to ensure projects remain on schedule and the data is current. Development Specialist (New Growth) will handle business forecasting, inputting of key information to set up projects at the outset, provide critical milestone reporting and work with team, vendors and key stakeholders to handle majority of -back of house- responsibilities. This role is critical to ensuring current year AOP/Budget is achieved, closing out previous year and getting subsequent years pipeline established. This role will play a critical part in period, quarter and yearly forecasting, preparing information, and sharing information with senior management. This role will not be responsible for the daily project management of projects and data entry regarding the same -just process management and data integrity in the System of Record (SOR).

Responsibilities

  • Monitors, updates, and assists in the coordination of key project schedules and processes to facilitate the execution of AOP/Budget (focus on new growth)

  • Inputting and forecasting critical project data from inception to final punch list focus on new growth

  • Partner with the rest of Development Planning for pipeline review and yearly AOP/Budget inputting, provide weekly status updates on key milestones to leadership

  • Monitors, prepares reports with Reporting Analyst and requests information for vendors and key stakeholders. Role should understand the critical path of Development Lifecycle when reviewing information and requesting updates from stakeholders when data is not accurate or insufficient.

  • Examines existing processes while checking for accuracy and efficiencies within our process. Leads changes with the Field team by making recommendations, managing configuration changes that improve the overall process and efficiency of internal and exterior team members.

  • Manages forecasting; daily, weekly reporting on the progress of AOP/Budget and communicates out to department leadership. Partners with Development Planning, Reporting and Forecasting and the EPMO Teams to ensure tracking and allocation of the capital budget within Inspire EPMO.

As the Manager, Performance Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance automation efforts for our Digital Technology and Enterprise applications. The QA Automation Manager will provide automation approaches and develop/review automated solutions, delivering high-quality tests and continuous integration capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend the project Kick-off meetings with stakeholders to understand the business goals with the objective to ensure a quality product gets delivered in the scheduled timelines

  • Review and understand the Technical Specification documents of the project

  • Discuss with Business Team, Product Owner and Development Team & Suggest changes to improve system

  • Prepare a detailed test plan on the stories/requirements to be validated

  • Develop test automation framework, written using Java, Selenium, POM, Maven and TestNG, BDD Cucumber, Spring framework with GitLab for Digital Platform

  • Test Data Management using API, DB, and JSON

  • Perform Code Review of Test Automation code created by team members using GitLab and approve/object based on feedback

  • Test Automation of POS (point of sale) using EggPlant automation tool

  • Plan/design performance testing approaches for digital, stores, and Enterprise applications

  • Setup new Relic dashboards for monitoring resource usage and forecast load in production

  • Data Ingestion, Big Data, and Customer Data Platform test automation design and development

  • Implement continuous integration to make code more stable and help in detecting any bugs early

  • Provide technical solutions to make the current process more efficient and re-usable

  • Implement test automation for analytics (web, data, and mobile analytics)

  • Analyze test failures and accordingly segregate them under categories like locator issue, test data issue, timeout issues, uncaught exception etc.

  • Prioritize all failures and fix them in this order- locator issue, test data issue, and uncaught exceptions

  • Collaborate with Cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Project Managers, Engineering, System Analyst/Business Analyst, DevOps, Release Manager, and Business Team) daily to ensure the project is completed on time

  • Demonstrate the requirement implementations to the Product Manager and seek sign-off

  • Once the application is deployed, run the critical test under production release , and if everything goes will then provide sign off from an automation perspective

  • Perform onsite and offshore team co-ordination, assign tasks to offshore team and help them with their queries with respect to application functionality

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four year degree required

  • Minimum - 10 years of overall experience in Software Testing

  • Minimum - 5 years of experience in Automation

  • Need to have a clear understanding of CI/CD implementation and integrating automation suite to pipeline

  • Proficient in establishing strong test data management tools/framework

  • Experience in the Retail domain is a plus
