We are looking for a Manager to join our Corporate and Business Development team. This team runs a corporate venture capital program investing in startups, assesses and executes on M&A, and drives strategic partnerships. This Manager will play a critical role in identifying and analyzing opportunities, building organizational buy-in, and doing deals. Responsibilities of Role

6. Provide thought leadership to CarMax leaders on emerging frontier trends (e.g., electrification, autonomy) based on research and interactions with industry and startup contacts.

7. Represent CarMax externally at conferences and industry events

Qualifications and Requirements

Purpose of the role

This role is a Subject Matter Expert on all Leaves and Accommodations, providing strong thought leadership, analysis and decision-making, strategic recommendations, and complex issue resolution. Qualifications and Requirements

Education/Experience:

• 5+ years experience in Leave of Absence and Accommodations management strategy/innovation/administration/analysis, and/or other related job experience required

• Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state disability legislation and programs including FMLA, ADA and state leave laws.

• 2+ years of People leadership experience is required

• College degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field is preferred

The Benefits Analyst I (Accommodations) will contribute to the success of the Corporation through analysis and customer service support of the Company's Job Accommodations process.
