Monday - Friday 3:30pm-12:00am
As a Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar, you will perform a variety of functions to check, receive, and verify accuracy of part locations and quantities. In addition to counting parts and filling orders, you will conduct first line, basic quality assessment of parts for damage and defects.
Please Note: This position will train on first shift for 30 days. Those hours are 7:00am-3:00pm.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
At least three months of work experience
Job Duties/Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited to:
Safely perform the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
Operates handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
Performs housekeeping functions as required
Utilizing heavy equipment, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes
Report defects and need for repairs.
Be willing to use pneumatic tools and/or power tools to crate products and prep them for shipment
Build and construct wooden shipping containers
Utilize tools for the application of paint and rust preventative

Walk, squat, and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willingness to be trained with pneumatic tools
Willingness to potentially be trained on forklift, cherry pickers, etc.

Positions are 40 hours per week plus overtime (overtime may be mandatory based on business need)
Second Shift: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00am
Starting wage is $15.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential

We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to provide administrative/operational support throughout the recruitment and onboarding lifecycle in accordance with the recruiting guidelines, policies and regulatory requirements for the applicable region and business. Selected candidates will process and coordinate recruiting and staffing programs and activities related to the attraction, selection, hiring and onboarding of talent into Caterpillar. Multiple positions are available in locations supporting Construction Industries production facilities.
Job Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Provide administrative assistance to the recruiting team including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews and necessary screening appointments, generating required letters and documentation for prospective candidates, etc.
Typical activities for the role could include but are not limited to:
Assist in the benchmarking with industry competitors and development of hiring policy documentation.
Assist and coordinate recruiting activities among assigned Sourcers, Hiring Managers and Recruiters.
Prescreen resumes sourced against existing job requisitions at the direction of recruiters.
Assist in interview scheduling with the hiring managers or administrative assistants.
Schedule interviews with the prospective candidates.
Send interview information to candidates and hiring managers.
Oversee/coordinate offer letters, contracts roll-out process, background/reference check process, security clearances and other pre-hire/transfer activities.
Assist in execution of all pre-hire activities including collection of documents.
Onboarding preparation
Prepare, track, and report on metrics and measurements to help recruitment leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
At least one year of recruitment/human resources/marketing job related experience and volume hiring
Ability to multi-task effectively in a matrixed team, high attention to detail, and the ability to think critically
Intermediate to expert knowledge of working with web/computer-based applications (Microsoft Office) required to perform the tasks in recruitment related applications.
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Previous recruiting experience in the manufacturing industry
The position typically requires a college or university degree OR equivalent experience
Ability to complete tasks on time as per defined Service Level Agreements
Self-motivated, an excellent team player with the ability to manage multiple customers.

What will you do?
In this role, you will partner with dealerships in CA, NV, AZ, UT, and HI representing CAT paving products. Educating our dealers on new product introductions, providing operational overviews and managing goodwill are just a few examples of how you'll make an impact as you build strong relationships leading to increased profitability.
Consult with dealers to market CAT products and services and assist in the development of dealer sales capability
Travel to dealer locations (up to 75%)
Act as the sales liaison among dealers, customers and internal Caterpillar teams
Assist dealers with forecasting sales/rental/used strategy planning and sales techniques
Support rollout of new products (e.g., products, parts, customer service agreements, other service products)
Analyze and communicate marketplace and competitive activity

Assist dealers with business planning, creating and promoting programs that increase sales while maximizing price realization
How You'll be Successful (Basic Qualifications)

Required Qualifications:

What will you do?

Define & recommend optimal set of aftermarket solutions for each machine and/or product, considering Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) requirements
Work with Machine Product Groups (EXD, EMD & BCP) and the Fluids & Filters Component Product Groups to ensure aftermarket parts & service new product introduction (NPI) deliverables are met
Along with Service Marketing, develop customer messaging - key attributes and value proposition
Develop & Deliver Dealer Aftermarket Parts & Services Sales Training - Develop content and provide expert training to the dealer community in addition to the internal sales force
Represent aftermarket voice of customer (VOC) & voice of business (VOB) & contribute to Enterprise Component Strategy (ECS) projects

5+ years of parts marketing or sales, product support or field experience with dealers

A coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is a sophisticated measurement tool used to determine conformance of components to engineering drawings. Quality CMM Technicians write measurement programs, perform measurements, validate results, and communicate results to facility customers. This requires a significant amount of computer work associated with writing and executing measurement programs via PC DMIS and Polyworks suites. CMM equipment utilized in this role are a DEA Delta Slant gantry, Leica Tracker, and Romer Arm CMMs. A Quality CMM Technician will work closely with Incoming Quality assisting in inspection of components purchased from external suppliers as well as Cat interplant suppliers and root cause of non-conforming material.
Job Responsibilities
Operate portable and gantry CMMs to inspect fabricated structures and purchased components. Analyze results to determine conformance to dimensional requirements.
Write CMM inspection programs using PCDMIS and Polyworks software.
Perform set-up, calibration, and maintain CMM equipment, fixtures, and facility.
Conduct measurements in support of production quality control plans and evaluation of new components for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
Create technical reports to summarize measurement results. Organize and store records of results.
Communicate inspection results to management, supplier quality engineers, and coworkers in operations. Provide feedback in a constructive and diplomatic fashion.
Conduct quality control inspections on a wide variety of piece parts, components, assemblies, and systems to determine conformance or non-conformance to engineering requirements.
Use visual inspections, hand measurements, tools and gauges, and other techniques as needed to determine conformance to engineering requirements.
Achieve a high level of understanding of engineering drawings and engineering specifications to guide determination of conformance or non-conformance of purchased parts.

AMEP (Advanced Mfg. Education Program) - Candidates needed at The Large Power Systems Division located in Lafayette, IN.
In this role candidates will train to be a CAT Assembly Technician who will assemble components and perform adjustments on both diesel and natural gas engines. This role will include on the job training, coupled with a college curriculum, with our partners from Ivy Tech Community College. Graduates of the program will be given the skills necessary to function in a Caterpillar, Engine Assembly environment. Initial placement in the program will have candidates starting in light assembly work, which may include various sub-assembly, paint prep, and light assembly type jobs. The jobs will progressively get more complex as candidates advance through the program, placing them in positions directly associated with prime product engine assembly, testing, painting and shipping of Caterpillar product.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
