Responsibilities of the incumbents are within functional lines with individuals assigned development and/or maintenance of existing mainframe, personal computer, server, Local Area or Wide Area Network, WEB, and/or distributed computing systems and infrastructure.
Competent to perform all programming, development, and integration assignments without close supervision;

Works on more complex application/technical problem identification and resolution, including responding to off-shift and weekend support calls;
Works independently on complex processes and modules that may be used by one or more programs or systems;

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
Requires a relevant degree, technical certification or equivalent experience.
The incumbent should be knowledgeable of the appropriate programming languages; computing hardware and software; and current development processes and tools.
Three to six years in systems development or support work is common. In addition, the incumbent should have a good knowledge of Caterpillar policies and procedures, and a general understanding of Caterpillar's organization.
This position serves as part of EPLM environment infrastructure team.
In this role, the candidate will work directly with Enterprise PLM technical and process resources to develop, deploy, and support Caterpillar's Enterprise PLM environments (Dev/SIT/UAT).
This candidate will serve as a general technology subject matter expert and design, create, implement, and support environments across the ePLM operational landscape.
This position will support agile product development and digital thread activities.

The Iron Technician Trainee assists Iron Technicians throughout the inspection and refurbishment process of pressure pumping equipment.
Starting rate at $18.00 an hour, and increases depending on experience

Conduct competitive studies and benchmarking, identify key market trends, and provide recommendations to product managers to influence product roadmaps and strategies.
Identify integrations and Drive alignment between digital product and Aftermarket growth strategy and opportunities.
Cat Ventures Support. Strategic analysis on solutions adjacent to existing Digital products for potential integrations. Research and support Cat Ventures initiatives to define, prioritization and quantify the opportunity. Define and document business cases supporting the strategy.
Clearly communicates strategy, findings, recommendations, and enterprise value
Basic qualifications:
Four-year Bachelor's degree preferably in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Business administration, Economics, Marketing, or communications or equivalent experience

Caterpillar's Pontic, IL facility needs a Master Scheduling Manager who will develop and manage a facility/product group master scheduling process that is innovative and promotes maximization of efficiency and optimization of resources/assets internally while retaining enough flexibility to ensure that all customer needs are met in a timely and cost-conscious manner. Responsible for key supply chain performance indicators across velocity and order-to-delivery.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Gathers forecast and constrained Sales and Operations Planning data and analyzes information to develop a valid production plan and an achievable master schedule for the facility.
Incumbent leads the facility Sales and Operations Process, reporting performance to forecast, production and inventory plans in both dollars and units. Incumbent is the facility's key resource for information related to facility cash flow and inventory turns goals and works directly with the Demand and Orders Manager at the leadership level to address demand planning issues and coordinate efforts across supply chain and operations functions.
The incumbent leads efforts to achieve customer delivery/promise dates by setting and managing shop priorities. This position is responsible for the preparation and effective communication of the facility master schedule, after collaborating with other functions, both inside and outside of the incumbent's facility and / or business division. Incumbent leads master scheduling for the facility, working closely with other functions, ie., facility leadership, marketing, product support, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and external business partners.
Incumbent uses common processes to develop and distribute the measurements and reports necessary to monitor progress towards goals and provide a feedback loop through which decisions can be made regarding short-term scheduling. This position drives compliance and quality assurance for the rough-cut capacity planning process using standard supply chain technology and is responsible for rough-cut capacity planning results for the facility.
Incumbent leads efforts to develop and implement a strategy for the effective coordination of all Engineering Data Notification (EDN) initiatives and leads collaboration efforts with facility supply chain planning to ensure alignment with new product introduction, engineering and product change control processes with master scheduling and capacity planning.
This position leads efforts in conjunction with marketing/sales to develop an accurate forecast and economical inventory/customer satisfaction plan. Incumbent uses information gathered from these efforts to develop an innovative, flexible approach to meet customer satisfaction requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Operations experience.
Or a Minimum of 10 years of progressively more complex supply chain experience can replace education requirement.
Advanced knowledge of material control, supply chain planning, supply chain performance, logistics, global purchasing, parts distribution, inventory control, manufacturing engineering, operations, or transportation.

That's why Caterpillar offers recent college graduates the opportunity to explore various areas within digital and IT through our Digital & IT Development Program (DITDP). The DITDP provides program participants with the opportunity to advance their technical and leadership skills through challenging assignments across multiple areas of the business. Each DITDP participant has a unique program experience and will work on different teams in varied worksites over a three-year period, with assignments lasting from 6 to 12 months. This allows program participants to diversify their technical skills and build their professional network.
In addition, the DITDP allows participants to learn from Caterpillar technical leaders and experts in a variety of team dynamics. DITDP participants absorb, in just a few years, what often takes a decade for young professionals to experience.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a technical-related degree from a four-year accredited college/university
Graduation Date between Dec. 2022-Aug. 2023
Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0 on 4.0 scale (without rounding)
Previous technical internship or work experience outside of classroom setting
Top Candidates will also have
Proficiency in any of the computer software applications or programming languages or technologies
Examples include: Java, JavaScript, SQL, Db2, .NET, C, C++, C#, User Experience, HTML, AWS and Azure
Demonstrated leadership experience and desire to take initiative
Previous internship in Information Technology
Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem solving and customer service skills
Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed
Ability to work independently and manage time as well as being a collaborative team member
Able to manage own duties including setting priorities
Familiar with company policies and procedures
