Serco has an immediate opportunity for you located at the Washington Navy Yard in the role of Executive Administrative Team Support. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide executive level administrative/clerical support to the leadership team while exercising confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.

  • Perform a variety of complex and confidential administrative duties to include composing and typing correspondence, generating reports, and maintaining computer-based and paper files.

  • Manage calendars and correspondence to include (editing, formatting, and serialization).

  • Coordinate meeting logistics with conference room scheduling, visitor control, etc.

Additional duties will include:

  • Acting as POC Liaison, Security Liaison, and Primary Mailroom Orderly.

  • Coordinating general administrative activities.

  • Attending Division Director's semi-weekly meetings.

  • Supporting the recruitment and on-boarding of government personnel.

  • Act as POC for government personnel travel via the Defense Travel System (DTS).

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A High School Diploma.

  • At least two plus years' experience.

  • Strong knowledge of the Defense Travel System.

  • Strong Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint.

  • A current or active DoD Secret clearance.

Serco is seeking to bring on an experienced Waterfront/Maritime Modernization Project Manager to lead various projects supporting US Naval and Military contracts. In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for managing operational and technical aspects of C4I waterfront/maritime project(s) and related task orders for GOVT customer(s) with revenue ranging from $3 - $15M.

  • Conduct cost management through continual cost control and review.

  • Provide planning and technical oversight of US Naval Activities in the maintenance and installation of communication systems.

  • Provide expertise to customers to ensure resolution of issues.

  • Requires advanced knowledge and understanding of work project(s) and functions. Typically manages a team of 20 or more employees.

  • Has business development and budgetary responsibilities.

  • Typically reports to a Program Manager or Director.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 to 7 years' experience or 7 to 10 years' experience in leu of a degree.

  • US Citizen.

  • 5+ years of Program Management experience working in a Defense based industry.

  • Must be strong leader with experience leading a team of a diverse trades workforce

  • Good understanding of government multiple award contracts environment (MAC)

  • Must be able to travel at least 10% domestically

  • Ability to acquire a Secret Clearance

  • Strong financial background in developing and managing budgets.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills with customers and team.

The successful applicant will be an IBM TRIRIGA Application Developer that has the ability to:

  • Provide customer support and assist with troubleshooting of deployed functionality

  • Assist with project related documentation including, design documents and training guides

  • Assist in identifying integration approaches and methodologies to keep data sources and deployed application current

  • Test and maintain migration and integration scripts between legacy system(s) and deployed functionality.

  • Assist with the configuration and customization of TRIRIGA

  • Understand and perform system migration and data movement using data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) concepts

  • Problem solver - be skilled in analysis and issue resolution

Qualifications

To be successful in this roll, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in the technology services field.

  • US Citizen - ability to apply for and receive a clearance

  • Deep familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, management and Team members.

  • Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support to Program Managers including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and development of time-phased budgets and schedules.

  • Lead project set up in compliance with contractual terms, conditions and requirements.

  • Prepare program financial Estimates at Complete (EAC) and meet deadlines for submission requirements.

  • Identify project risks and opportunities and provide analytical contribution in working resolution with PM, Contracts, Procurement and Finance/Accounting.

  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis on the contract as requested by PMO and others.

-Monitor funding status, providing reliable and timely notification of funding status by line item detail as required.

-Support accounts receivable as required during the billing processing. Monitor billing status and unbilled issues, working with Finance, Contracts, Accounting and PMO to resolve issues in a timely manner.

-Prepare subcontractor and vendor accruals as services/goods are received in accordance with GAAP and internal policies to ensure that the projects cost/commitment is accurately captured and reported internally and externally.

-Ensure program revenue and profit is recorded in compliance with the EAC.

-Analyze profit risks and opportunities and advise management on the optimal path forward.

-Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley, FAR and all company policies and procedures as they related to contract performance and financials.

-Provides guidance to less experienced Project Controllers.

-Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

To Be Successful in this role you will have:

Bachelor's degree in Business or Program Management related field plus 2 to 5 years of Program Control or related and progressive experience with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required.

  • 2+ years of Program Control or related experience is required.

  • Candidates must possess a strong background working with multiple government contract types: FFP, FPI, FPLOE, T&M, CPAF, CPFF, CPIF, and hybrid contracts.

Serco is seeking a Product Line Manager to join our talented and dynamic team providing support to millions of consumers seeking healthcare coverage via the Health Insurance Marketplace. This position supports the Service Delivery team, which is responsible developing processes, operationalize policy changes and provide solutions to facilitate the review and adjudication of consumer applications on the CMS-ES Eligibility Support Contract. The candidate in this role will manage a team of business consultants and engage with cross product line managers, projects managers, IT, operations, and quality teams.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of ACA, Marketplace Eligibility and Enrollment, analytical minded, problem solver, comfortable with speaking to a diverse audience, and able to think through a wide range of issues with confidence. The candidate should be able to work in a very fast-paced environment, handle multiple concurrent competing priorities with short turn-around times. The candidatewill help troubleshoot business problems within the program, providing analysis and solution recommendationsand collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy projects that improve consumer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day managerial oversight and lead engagement activities as it relates to the Health Insurance Marketplace enrollment verification issues.

  • Provides direction on projects from inception through completion and provides managerial assistance on all aspects of project management to comply with the requirements of the contract for the customer.

  • Define business processes requirements, operationalize policy changes and translate it into business requirements.

  • Perform document peer review of Project Charters, Business Requirement documents (BRDs), White Papers and SOPs.

  • Lead Client/SME meetings and provide regular status updates to the client and leadership.

  • Utilize data and metrics to drive the improved business and consumer outcomes.

  • Work with development teams to effectively design, develop, and launch scalable solutions that address customer needs while meeting high standards for delivery and customer experience.

  • Reviews work for quality assurance and ensures the timeline are met.

  • Regularly review daily weekly and monthly reports to ensure SLAs are met.

  • Manage team and individual performance to sustain high-performing team.

  • Ensure the program and organizational goals are met.

  • Develop and maintain effective and efficient working relationships with the Client, interfacing daily with Government Subject Matter Experts.

  • Manage competing priorities with a positive resolution and teamwork.

  • Participate in product line strategy sessions and in the planning of new projects with Service Delivery leadership, managers, cross functional teams and/or client as directed.

  • Continue to drive innovation and improve consumer outcomes as it relates to the product line.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field from an accredited institution with 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience. 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, dynamic projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated experience gathering and writing business requirements, business uses cases, user acceptance testing for IT projects.

  • Demonstrated experience with process management and business process re-engineering.

  • Experience writing test cases and conduct user acceptance testing.

  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology and best practices.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly, distill complex scenarios into easily understandable synopses

  • Works with minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and Client management skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Enjoy working in a collaborative and team environment.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • CMS eligibility support experience a plus.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.

  • Yellow Belt certification

  • Agile/SCRUM experience.

  • Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL.

  • Familiarity with JIRA, Microsoft Suite, and SharePoint.

In this role you will:

  • Responsible for providing lead level financial support to Program Managers in the preparation and analysis of complex project financial data, monthly rolling P&L forecast, and other complex contract, project or business related task.

  • Support accounts receivable as required during the billing processing. Monitor billing status and unbilled issues, working with Finance, Contracts, Accounting and PMO to resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Oversee preparation of subcontractor and vendor accruals as services/goods are received in accordance with GAAP and internal policies to ensure that the projects cost/commitment is accurately captured and reported internally and externally.

  • Provide oversight of finance inputs for project set up and revenue recognition in compliance with contractual terms, conditions and requirements.

  • Analyze profit risks and opportunities and advise management on the optimal path forward.

  • Liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues. Interfaces with subcontractors, vendors, and customers as required.

  • Knowledge of general and corporate business practices, government contracting regulations and principles, and accounting and finance principles. Must be versed in various contract vehicles, i.e., CPAF, CPFF, LOE, FPLOE, FFP, T&M, IDIQs, etc. Preferred knowledge of FAR/DFAR, DCAA compliance and audits.

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, and managing technical projects from inception to completion.

  • Work projects will span cloud migrations to Azure commercial and GCC High, data center migrations, Disaster Recovery planning, infrastructure, IT operations, ITIL and IT Service Delivery.

  • Working with stakeholders to understand and define project scope and document project charter

  • Determine preferred project management approach (Waterfall or Agile)

  • Working with stakeholders to determine and document requirements, and working with project teams to ensure that requirements are understood and met

  • Working with stakeholders, architects and technical team to develop WBS and project plan or planning release trains and sprints. Identifying milestones.

  • Developing schedules, contingency plans, workflow diagrams, and operational documentation.

  • Identifying, documenting and managing resolution of project action items and issues

  • Holding daily scrums and project planning meetings

  • Working with technical teams to manage project and track progress

  • Managing internal and external resources (partners and contractors) to ensure project delivery

Qualifications

  • Provides screening and referral services and identify and utilize a network of local, regional, and state resources for employment and employment readiness.

  • Serve as the point of contact for activities in their assigned area of responsibility for all stakeholders, including those from the Department of Veterans' Affairs, Department of Defense, Department of Labor, State Adjutant General offices, American Job Centers, DOL VETS State Directors, and more.

  • Manages supplies, instructional materials, and office equipment and prepares periodic reports.

Serco supports the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) by operating the free HERO patrol service program with the purpose of minimizing traffic congestion and improving highway safety by clearing damaged and disabled vehicles and debris from the travel and emergency Lanes, and providing traffic control and scene protection at incidents.

You will be part of a team that works closely with TxDOT, local law enforcement and other first responders daily.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist motorists and perform incident management services during assigned shifts

As a Configuration Management (CM) Manager, you will be on a team that is evaluating and managing the delivery of new amphibious ships and landing craft to the fleet. Our Amphibious Warfare Operation provides critical services to nearly all U.S. Navy amphibious ships and craft. You will work closely with Government and industry professionals as well as shipbuilders and other support personnel.   • Leverage Government Off The Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) CM tools to manage configuration items.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Highschool or GED plus 15 years of relevant experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis. Individuals with college degrees or technical school or military certifications, including those with less years of experience, will be considered.

  • Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.

  • DoD/Navy ACAT I Program experience.

  • Must be able to obtain an Intrim DoD Secret clearance post-employment.

  • Provide oversight of finance inputs for project set up and revenue recognition in compliance with contractual terms, conditions and requirements.

  • Analyze profit risks and opportunities and advise management on the optimal path forward.

  • Liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues. Interfaces with subcontractors, vendors, and customers as required.

  • Knowledge of general and corporate business practices, government contracting regulations and principles, and accounting and finance principles. Must be versed in various contract vehicles, i.e., CPAF, CPFF, LOE, FPLOE, FFP, T&M, IDIQs, etc. Preferred knowledge of FAR/DFAR, DCAA compliance and audits.

Serco is seeking a Senior Lead, Training Developer to join the team! Telework eligible! Your experience in in Army tactical communications and military training support is needed to solve technical and policy challenges facing tactical radio communications systems for the Army's current and future forces.

Serco will support the US Army Program Executive Office: Command, Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T) and the global warfighter C5ISR support plan. You will lead the development and management of training for Project Manager Tactical Radio (PM TR), Readiness Management Division (RMD), and the constituent Product Offices with Material Fielding, Integrated Product Support, Platform Integration, New Equipment Training and Field Support services.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee and manage all Training Support Package (TSP) and Computer Based Training (CBT) development in order to ensure that these products are delivered within cost, on time, and within CDRL specifications

  • Lead training developers by providing expert guidance and assistance and is considered an expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements

  • Review, assist and mentor employees' work for quality, accuracy of work

  • Coordinate work efforts with Contract Officer Representative

  • Establish early and continuous working relationships with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and appropriate development and production activities during the development of training materials

  • Review all OEM TSP deliverables for compliance with Army regulations

  • Work with G-3/5/7, CCoE on TSP Verifications and Institutional Training requirements

  • Maintain the training materials in a current, up-to-date condition, working closely with maintenance and engineering

  • Serve as an expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements

  • Prepare lesson plans, training catalogs, course materials, write instructional objectives and achieve a high standard during all training

  • Serve as an expert in instructional technology to include knowledge of audiovisual design and production and policies and procedures, which lead to qualification as an instructor

  • Design, conceptualize training scenarios, approaches, objectives, plans, tools, aids, curriculum, and other state of the art technologies, related to training and behavioral studies

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An active Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Ten (10) years of training experience in planning, coordinating, and overseeing New Equipment Training and IKPT

  • Fifteen (15) relevant years of experience with tactical radio communications systems
